Fox Physical Therapy
I have had 5 PT's in the last 3 years, for Rotator cuff surgery. All but Dr. Fox had me do the same exercises regardless of pain, and ignored that first surgery had failed. They continued with the exercises that resulted in more pain, as the tear got worse and my shoulder sat deranged for 2 years.By my 8th week, I had full passive range of motion after an open subscapularis repai and a debriment of rotater cuff. He communicates issues to my surgeon, and best of all, he pays attention to my care individually. He is innovative, knowledgeable in kinseology, using a tool that literally breaks down scar tissue, and has repeatedly found ways to continue my rotation and strengthening of my shoulder dedpite my elbow interfereing with the traditional methods of of treatment. At 3 months, although I have a ways to go, my ability to do tasks is already beyond what I was able to do in the last 3 years. His staff has his pleasent freindly attitude, and he interns UM srudents. If he trains them they will be by far ahead of all therapists.

Physical Therapy Services
After seriously injuring my knee I went to Physical therapy services inc. I worked with Dr Hermi and Mrs Hernandez at this facility, and they were both just amazing. They spent the full time with me in every session, always one on one, to diagnose the pain and worked with me to come up with a daily exercise routine at home. And at every session, we would discuss what happened the previous week, make adjustments (either weaker or stronger of a routine) and go again. In addition, they were always available via phone or email, and would call back very quickly if I left them a message, and would take the time over the phone to answer any additional questions I may have.Dr.Hermi and Mrs Hernandez's, patience, professionalism, and kindness just shines through at every session, and I can't begin to explain how wonderful they were and how thankful I am to have had their help. Over the course of over 6 weeks, they helped me build my strength back and be back to normal.PS: This place is extremly clean.

Miami Physical Therapy Associates Inc
I gave this two stars because, although the actual therapy by Angie was excellent and I recommend her highly, the administration fell short. Before starting I inquired with the clinic about insurance coverage and was assured that both my primary and secondary health insurance companies were accepted. When the primary benefits reached a limit the clinic's administrator informed me--through reception--that their policy is to not work with the secondary carrier once the primary is used up because "it's too much trouble" to have to bill a primary first, for it to be denied, so the bill can then be submitted to the secondary for payment. Their policy forces the patient to transfer to another clinic to continue treatment. This is bad enough, but the "administrator" also ignored two messages left with reception asking to discuss this. He/she did not even have the decency to follow up. If you rely on primary and secondary coverage look for a clinic with better administration and policies.

Florida Occupational Healthcare
The prior reviewer may have had a one time bad experience of possible downtime, but believe me when I say Florida Occupational Healthcare earns and deserves 5 stars. As a patient of 3 months, I can honestly say that all the therapists care for and worry about their patients. Alex (the doctor and owner), is extremely helpful and will always check up on you and has a professional relationship with his patients. You'll always feel welcome at this establishment and you'll never see an employee with a bad attitude. So again 5/5 stars.

I want to tell everyone looking for physical therapy that going to this place was a gift from God, I came from Venezuela to visit my daughter and after babysitting my grandson I start having pain on my hands, knee and low back, just after 3 visits I feel much better, the pain is gone and the most important they teach me a lot of tips so that does not happen anymore, they have a nice staff and they show special dedication with their patients, I strongly recommend this place for physical therapy.

This is by far the most respectful, most caring and attentive physical therapy professionals I have met. They will hold your hand every step of the way. You are treated as a human not just another number. The best part of all is that they are true professionals, that really know how to help you recover quickly and allow you to get back into your healthy lifestyle. These are definitely people you can trust with the most important part of your being, your body.

My mom was treated with up most respect. Her knee condition improved considerably after coming here. The lead Therapist and his staff were very nice and taught her several stretching exercises along with some other tweaks to her daily lifestyle which ultimately nulled the need for a knee surgery. Having said this, i follow that this practice deserves a 10 out of 10, great place to go and really nice people to be with in you time of need.

Tips & Advices
At the first appointment with a physical therapist, Expect an overall assessment of your condition, which may include exercises to understand your range of motion, balance, and strength. Based on that information, the therapist can then design a regimen.
Physical therapists can work in a variety of environments. While many choose to work in a physical therapy clinic, others will operate out of hospitals and are also able to make house calls to help patients who need in-home assistance and rehabilitation.
Physical therapists can specialize in sports medicine, women's health, geriatric, neurologic, orthopedic, pediatric, and cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, among others.
See a physical therapist following a serious muscle or bone injury, especially if pain doesn't go away within a few days, is recurring and dull, or is frequent and sharp. Book an appointment if medication is not helping or if your doctor recommends it.
The majority of health insurance plans do include physical therapy treatment, but the amount covered and the co-pay for patients varies person-to-person. Medicare and workers’ compensation both cover physical therapy.
