As hard as I tried, Mike and the owners of Miami Imports really blew the opportunity to earn a 5-star review and a customer for life.Everything started great... Mike was kind enough to chat with me via text, and we did the entire deal via text which was so appreciated. The first hiccup came when Mike gave me a price of $8,700, but then surprised me with an additional $495 dealer fee when he sent the Bill of Sale over to be signed. The fee was never mentioned until I pointed it out. It wasn't a deal breaker, but Mike should have mentioned it up front.I live in Nashville, so Mike setup to have the car transported from Miami. Everything went great here. No complaints.When the car showed up with cosmetic damage, everything went downhill... My very first text to Mike said, "Could you let me know about any cosmetic or mechanical issues? I am definitely not expecting a perfect car, but I want to avoid being surprised by anything." He replied, "There are no issues at all. No cosmetic issues." Expectation set... there are no cosmetic issues.Unfortunately there were more than a handful of cosmetic issues with the car including: clear coat peeling, pings in the door, gouges in the paint, a cut gas cap cord, and a completely missing door protector.I sent Mike pictures of all the problems, and he acknowledged that he should have caught them. I asked that he cover a small percentage of the repair bills, but he refused again and again.Mike is a nice guy, but I would NOT purchase another vehicle from him.Would not recommend to anyone.
I am not a person to write good reviews, if I write a review normally is negative. But in this case I have to admit that I was motivated to write a positive review for South Motors Mazda. Since I had read so many bad reviews my wife and I went to the showroom just to check the car we wanted and to test drive, as we have done in other dealers. To our pleasant surprise Michelt Dominguez was the car sales available showed us the car with no push sales attitude, he listened to our expectations and with a down to earth approach we sat down to look at the options. Another difference with pior experience, there was no back and forth with a manager sitting in a dark room far away from the sales office. Immediately that we showed interest the manger Franly Machado introduced himself and explained the process, that there was not going to be a back and forth but he needed to review the numbers that we were requesting and he was going to do his best in the first try. NO WAYTING 10 HOURS. A few min later Michelt came with the offer, we liked and we closed. It was by far the best new or used car buying experience in my 20 years of experience. I recommend South Motor Honda specially the Michelt Dominguez and Franly Machado…. And at the end the Finance person was very efficient to finish all the paperwork explained everything and got us ready to receive the our new Mazda CX-9.
WOW!!! I am delighted to comment on this dealership. I rarely write reviews, but the experience I had here was so positive that I have to write about it! I am divorced, went through a bankruptcy and my credit was destroyed! I visited from all the largest dealerships in Miami to all the small ones, and everyone told me the same thing: No thankyou...However, here, I saw a vehicle on line and went to the dealership for a pre-approval; I expected the same answers that I had received in all other dealerships, but to my GREAT SURPRISE, I was told I would be able to be approved and they gave me a list of cars for me to choose from. These people do it the right way! They actually asked from the beginning what my budget was and they worked with my budget from beginning to end, guiding me and suggesting the pros and cons of all the vehicles they showed me..I could not believe it! I saw the vehicles and chose a VW passat which looked NEW! Drove it and LOVED it!!! The saleman was great too. I returned and I was given the numbers which were right at what I had told the salesman I could afford!!! Got up and WRANG the BELL!!!! ...My only regret is I did not come here first! I recommend this dealer in a heart beat!!! 100% TOTALLY SATISFIED WITH MY 2012 VW PASSAT!!! THNX GUYS!
I rarely like to write any reviews, and this is probably about my third review ever. But my experience with carfactory was very pleasing. I went through a very nasty divorce and ofcourse, my credit was in shambles. I was in need of a car because of course, my wife took my car as part of the settlement. I went to carfactory and was greeted by a salesman by the name of Molina. This representative was extraordinary polite and PATIENT through this process which was not as torturing as I had imagined. He sat with me and asked me what I was looking for, my down payment and my monthly payments, and type of vehicle...He proceeded to bring me a list of vehicles that kept me within my budget. Cannot get easier than this! I saw several cars and settled on a 2013 Altima with a new beautiful body style. I had owned a previous Altima so I know how reliable they are. I test drove the vehicle and fell in LOVE with it! We returned from the test drive and we proceeded to see the numbers which were right at what I had stated. I recommend carfactory and especially Mr. Molina for such Great attention and service. I will return...thnx, John
This was my first time buying a car, and I don't have very good credit. I was terrified of getting ripped off, so I did my homework. I shopped around. I read lots of car faxes. THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! They were totally honest and friendly from the get go. The car never went up in price from the moment I expressed interest until the keys were in my hand. The owner Tony was very friendly, and even helped me get a really good deal from a local credit union. They let me take the car to a mechanic to get looked at, no questions asked. I would buy from them ten times over, and I recommend them to ANYONE shopping for a used car.

Just as the prior reviewer, I can also vouch for the services that are being rendered at this small local auto shop. Not only are they professional, and knowledgeable but also honest in their work. I own a Honda S2000, that I live there with my eyes closed. Ricky is a great mechanic, and Willy a great administrator. I consider them like part of my family, as a matter of fact my whole family takes their vehicles to them! We have used this small Kendall mechanic shop for more than 5 years. I give them two thumbs up for all the work they do, and at very decent price.
