I moved from Queens N.Y. To Miami back in 2002. At the time I had a 1995 Honda Civic that was built for performance. I needed to have the axles replaced so I went to Rack And Axles which at the time I also wanted to convert my power steering rack to a manual one. They did all the work and it turned out great!! Like if the car came that way from the factory!! I was so impressed with their work and customer service provided that I continued to go to them whenever I needed any type of drive line, suspension or brake work done. They have always been very courteous and professional. Above all they have always been very considerate in treating my care with extreme care! Their rates are very reasonable especially for the high quality of work that is provided. In my most recent visit I brought my 2002 Civic to them because of some serious vibration that would occur when in higher engine loads at 30-40 mph and again around 80 mph. I checked my wheels and axles which did not show any signs of damage or wear so I was thinking that it may be something in the suspension. They were able to diagnose the problem to the axle which they built and installed a superior unit in comparison to the High Tier Discount Auto axle that was in the car. Needless to say the vibration was eliminated up to speeds I rather not say in a public forum! Now, I love my Honda and will not let just anyone work on my car, however I have become a lifetime loyal customer to Rack And Axles because of their professionalism, respect for my property and work performed these past 10 years+! I have recommended all of my friends and family who have all thanked my for telling them about this shop! The owner Soto and his brother are one of the best pair of mechanics I have known in the past 20 years I have been in the Honda motor sports scene! I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs any type of automotive mechanic work needed! As they specialize in Rack And Axles, they also do all types of automotive work!!
The best in town hands down. Intelligent analysis, the most reasonable rates you’ll find in Miami, quick turnaround, and spot on professionalism is the order of the day. You bring in your car and they figure out your issue. They fix it efficiently time-wise. They do it the most cost effective path possible (saving you big $$$ sometimes). They don’t hose you for work that doesn’t need to be done. It’s pro work at the highest level, no games involved.I was turned on to them about 15 years ago driving a prelude and have gone to them since with an integra, then a prelude and now Infiniti. Knowing they have my back when issues come up is the best peace of mind one may have when it comes to car maintenance and repair. I trust them so much I’ve got my 90 year-old grandmother taking her car to them; seriously!If you have an issue which can slide some, whether for financial or time issues, they’ll tell you roughly how long, so you aren’t making unnecessary repairs or aren’t crunched for time. If you are really busy like I am, they’ll work with you to schedule so you aren’t wasting time to deal with your car relative to whatever other issues you may have at the moment.Professionally I work with difficult logistics for the top creative talent in the world, which is why I completely respect the extremely high level of service, knowledge, quality, pricing and scheduling. It is so tough to find this in Miami, but with Lynn running the show and Phillip executing, combined with the warm/welcoming atmosphere, your day is made going in there. Service Auto is your answer to your difficult question of where can I go with my car, where will they not try to take advantage, and who will do it right, and not charge me ridiculously to solve my problem. Car issues always crop up at the wrong time, but by going so Service Auto, you will have the right experience dealing with your car issue. As I said, hands down, best in town!
My car was at this shop for 50 days, Jan 14 though March 4. They blame the insurance company for the delay and did show me proof that Progressive facilitated the delays as well. The front desk staff were all very sweet and as attentive as they could be, no complaints there. The manager, Eric, was pleasant, but like most body shops, they tell you it will be ready one day and it's another month before it is actually ready. When I was dealing with Mario at the beginning he would call me to give me some sort of updates but that stopped quickly, after 2nd week there. I asked the receptionist several times to have the owner call me to discuss my situation but I never received a call back from the owner. I was unhappy with the whole process and the time it took to get my car fixed, something that should have taken 2 weeks max took nearly 2 months. I will be reaching out to my insurance to figure out what happened on their end. I really wanted to like this business because the people working there seemed very sweet, but based on the experience I had, whether because of them or Progressive, I still would not recommend them.
Excellent service, professional staff. Very sincere. Specially the representative Odalys, that she advice me and give also tips for my car. She did the "extra mile" when she realized that the piece for my car " the alternator" will take more time that expected the delivery she goes to the shop and buy and put it, in order give a service for me today because otherwise will take one day for delivery. Vine para cambiar el alternador de mi carro, servicio excelente, no muy caro. Cuando la Sra. Odalys vio que el delivery de la pieza iría a demorar contar de realizar el servicio en el mismo día ella fue a buscarla. Excelentes mecánicos. Me voy súper feliz y con mi carro en excelentes condiciones Nota 12 para este taller.
I have been a customer of Rolando for almost two years, and I think he has been excellent. He is very punctual and very professional. The first time he checked my car, he figured my car had an ignition related problem, for which he referred me to his mentor's (Benny) repair shop. Benny was able to fix the problem promptly, and the price was appropriate. The second time he checked it, it was for an AC problem. I had tried to solve this problem on a dealer repair shop. They charged me around $500 to try to repair it, and their repair only worked for a few weeks. The dealer shop thought the problem was a lack of Frion, and a bad arrangement with the connections behind the AC electrical box. However, Rolando figured that AC electrical box was damaged, and helped me to get a new one, for an appropriate price. He installed it and I have never had problem with my AC ever since. He also successfully helped me solving a problem that required changing my on-board diagnostic computer, and he helped me find one for an appropriate price. I strongly recommend having Rolando check your car!
I can't say enough GREAT things about this place and everyone that works at Biscayne Tire & Auto!!!! I keep them on speed dial, as I have a Mercedes Benz S600 2004 that is without a doubt "possessed" by the "what ever can go wrong, will and more, poltergeist". These guys have rescued me from dozens of on going issues with this car and I can even call them for their reliable opinion even when out of town having car issues. They take the time to explain everything that needs to be worked on in great detail and why. As a women, number one, this NEVER HAPPENS at an suto mechanic shop, so I can rest assure that I am not being taken for money or for work that issn't necessary. They even show me the part they need to replace or fix, and go over pricing before they fix it. When does this ever happen? So LADIES, if you fear, fear no more!!! Rey and all your staff, I can say THANK YOU...although I know I will continue to be haunted by this car, I know you guys will be there to put me back safely on the road and with car I guess you could say you "exercise the demons"!!! lol ;o)
I am not exaggerating when I state that Charlie's Paint and Body Shop is a wonderful place to have your car repaired. My personal experience is that my brand new 2013 Mustang GT Premium Convertible was side-swiped with considerable damage to the right front of the car. I myself was traumatized because I had barely put 5,000 miles on the car. I really felt sick inside, thinking that my dream car was no longer young and fresh and new (you guys know what I mean). I thought it would never be the same again. I searched the internet looking for the absolute very best paint and body shop that I could find. I didn't know too much about this kind of thing because I personally had not been in an auto accident in all of my 50 years of driving. By chance I came across Charlie's Paint and Body Shop and read all the reviews. Well I know that a lot of websites have phony reviews and misleading statements just to hook you in. OMG! I made it home! Thank you so much Japanese Car Care and Carlos! I live in Orlando, Florida and I was in Miami a few weeks ago visiting family and my car died on me. As you can imagine, I was scared what is was going to cost me to get my car repaired and get me and my car back home. Well, I called JCC and spoke to Denise and told her my situation - she told me no problem, they would be happy to help. She told me to ask for Carlos and he would help me. I arrived at JCC with my car on a tow truck and to my surprise a few hours later my car was in perfect running condition!!! Wooohooo! I even got a great deal! Whew, what a relief, especially since I didn't have much money to spend. I don't get down to Miami often, but I think I'll need to go down every few thousand miles to get my service done there - it's hard to find a a place you can trust and that is why I took the time to write this review. I was involved in a hit and run. When I started looking around for a place to have my car fixed, I came across many of the places were to over priced and they were not very polite. But then I found Reglo auto collision I went in and as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and was told that someone will come to my house to do the estimate. Later on that day Carlos came to my house and informed me that he was there to do the estimate on my accident. He was so polite and explained everything that needed to be done,what parts I needed he was so great and professional that at point I knew that I was going to have them fix my car. The next day they picked up my car and had me come down to sign the papers to start fixing my car. 2 weeks later I received a call that my car was done. The experience in Reglo was incredible I hope you don't get into an accident but if you do this is the place to go and get it fixed.
Went to Lynn's shop and for an intermittent a/c problem with my Honda CRV 2007 and within 15 min. he had done the job and the price was the lowest that others had charged for not fixing the problem at all. I had been to Midas that had claim the a/c had a leak, they put dye in with nothing to show after 4 hours. Charged me for the gas, the dye, the diagnostics and told me to come back in a week. The problem re-appeared. Went to Braman Honda which kept the suv from 7am till 2pm which after the diagnostics they found nothing wrong and theorized that it may be a relay. Pay for diagnostics and relay and the problem re-appear; by the way according to them the compressor was not low on gas and no dye had ever been added. Two months later after "Honda Mazda Repair Specialist" - it is still working like a champ; thanks Lynn for your honesty and great job and price.
