Bubbles Pet Grooming
hello my name is Merida Perez, and I am 80 years old. Are you to heritage my grand daughter's Yorkshier Terrier Betty years ago when she went off to do her PhD and my daughter, her mother, KB to move in with me to help me with the activities of daily living. Maddox means the world to me and he is a therapy dog for myself . I have been going to Bubbles for many years I do the odor in the staff very well they have gone above and beyond their job duties if picking me up and dropping me off to my home since we live very close by there place is very clean pet friendly, it smells like I wish my house smelt, of the staff and older's eyes light up immediately do you feel like you're rude you're rude home and feel confident in their care of your family member, your pet. The owner is excellent the cuts are meticulous and she really was born for the task she has at hand. She is a wonderful caring person humidity are you up to "pet-tarian", and our family would never change her for the world and we go the distance if we had to. Very humble down to earth God like Sarid focused and confident in what she's doing. Don't miss the experience !! --Merida Perez for "Maddox Chiclet Cespedes"

A Labor Of Love Dog Grooming Salon
I am a loyal customer! I have been taking my dog to A Labor Of Love for over a year now and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always points out anything they believe may be a cause for concern. My dog has anxiety when put in a kennel and they accommodate that by giving me early appointments, attending to her sooner and letting her roam free when she is done. They never take long and always call me 1/2 an hour before she is done so that i can pick her up right away. This place really is A Labor Of Love <3

Miami Doggy Style, Pet Grooming Salon and Day Care
I used them a few days ago and i`m totally happy with them! The salon is nice, and what is more important for me that the groomers were so nice too...with me and with my dog too.I asked them a style and they did just how i wanted. Oh and what was great....first time i picked up my dog like he wasn`t afraid at all...he waited me in the salon area with the other dogs, what i think is great. I hate when they close them in small places or cages. So they just got a new return customer! :) Thank You

I am a loyal customer of A Labor Of Love Pet Grooming Salon. I have never left my Chuchu anywhere else. The only place he has ever been without me is to A Labor of Love Pet Grooming Salon. When I go to pick him up he is happy. The staff know his name when we walk in and it makes if feel very welcome. I am very happy with the service we receive and Chuchu is happy too.

Amber's Pet Grooming
The shop is in a strip mall, no big whoop. The tree is dealing with Michelle and the rest of the staff. They're awesome! They are on point by far. They use all organic stuff, one of the very few places in the city in which my dog doesn't come back with irritated red skin and generally cranky. Place is great!!

Tiki Dog Salon
I have. beena dog lover for decades and I have been to many groomers and since discovering Tiki I haven't taken my 5 Yorkies anywhere else. The owner is a fantastic dog lover, my dogs practically jump out of my arms in their eagerness to see Ivonne and her groomers. To me, that's the best endorsement!

Beverly Hills Puppies, Inc.
Visited Martin at his kennel to see three english bulldog puppies that I really liked from his website. The pups were even cuter in person. Really wanted to take all of them :( I left with one puppy (named him Tumnus) and am a very happy customer. Thank u!
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
