I got a review. So my daughter started Kids Colors Learning Center at the beginning of 2015. It was amazing the first couple of days leaving her. Then all of the sudden, she starts to cry every single morning. I am thinking she is just adjusting... On a good note, she IS learning a lot, she learned to write her name and last name and pretty much all the letters of the alphabet in less than 3 months, also all the numbers! she really is learning a lot! so yes, for learning the academics is a really good school. Now, something is off with this school my daughter is still sad to stay in the mornings. I am not so sure that she absolutely likes her main teacher, she however likes other teachers and she mentions them lovingly, so I am thinking not all of them are nice or loving. I have tried to show up and see what they are up to a couple of times in the afternoon and I have found some teachers screaming (in a really mean way) at the smaller kids (not mine) but to other (smaller kids) I have involved myself with the teachers as much as I can, talking to them in the morning and in the afternoon so that I know what my daughter is doing all day. This way, they open up to me, yes I will admit that they are not the easiest to talk to. I not sure if this is business policy, but I only interested in my child so I try my best to get involved. Also, I can’t go to all the events, so I send my mother or step mother to go in my stead and make sure the check everything out, and so far there has only been one mean comment towards a little girl that cries a lot. I hope it is not like that all the time as this comments by their only teachers and caregivers creates the perfect excuse for bulling and for low self-esteem in kids that are just starting to explore life. Also, I would say that just one or two teachers speak English, so when my daughter started I was told she didn't know how to speak correctly, then I realized they were referring to Spanish language, well my daughter is not fluent in Spanish, as English is her first language and she only speaks a few basic words in Spanish. They also have a good schedule for the kid’s activities, everything is organized. They read a lot to the kids my daugther’s favorite activity and they have a wall from top to bottom of books that she absolutely loves. Regarding the school building itself. This building is a stand alone building, meaning there are no other businesses attached to it, that’s a really nice commodity. It has high ceilings and very well lit with lots of high windows. The decoration is 100% educational and kids play friendly. The place is cleaned twice a day! Incredible! Yes, twice day it is sparkly clean everywhere and my daughter has gotten sick, but not as sick as I know other kids have in other schools. So I give them that much! It really is a super clean environment for your child. The building downfall is the Park right in front of it. It catches on fire every once in a while and you must run to get your kid and it won’t be easy getting there because they police will block all Eureka and any way of turning into 134 ave, so good luck there! The teachers are well trained for this chaos and they call you right away, they will make sure the kids are out of the school and out of danger, specially since there is a gas station right next door! There was an incident with one child found with LICE! And immediately all the teachers were checking the rest of the kids to make sure no one else had it. Right now, they are on summer camp. My daughter is still sad in the mornings and super happy in the afternoon when I pick her up. I get the whole attachment issue, but I would think it would be over by now… but I am hoping it gets better. I wish they had cameras in this school the Montessori schools. I am really obsessed with my child, but what good parent isn’t? I hope this review helps you.

In the last couple months, I've waited to submit a review to see how I really do like the school and to give my honest opinion. I didn't have the most pleasant experience at the other 2 day cares he was previously at. The previous staff members were unprofessional/ rude and my son was unhappy. He would have tantrums on the way home because he was hungry and upset. He would tell me his teacher was mean. I confronted the director and they made it seem like it was joking around and blamed my son for having a strong character. There's no excuse for that in my opinion. Children at that age don't act like that unless something is really wrong. I spoke with Pastor Nery regarding that issue I had and she was very kind and understanding. She invited him to attend without even paying for the first week, just to see if my son felt comfortable. My son is 3 years old and he doesn't complain about being hungry or moody when I pick him up. Not only has his behavior improved, he loves going to school. She is very strict and committed to making the school function for the best interest of the children, that's what really matters. I believe she has a lot of patience and passion for this. My son even had a small Birthday gathering there with his friend and I can say he is very happy with the class. She doesn't even mind that my son has an obsession with dinosaurs. Very creative learning center that doesn't limit what they can learn. They practice 3 languages, agriculture and music appreciation. I recommend you visit her and see for yourself.
Go to Acadekids and check for yourself .... the place is super clean , the installations are great and secure, the atmosphere is great for the children and the teachers are really sweet with every single children in front of you and behind your back. (believe me I always check the cameras from my office)In reference to the Director Mrs.karen, She always receive my 3 year old with a smile on her face; on ocassions when droping or picking up our child we talk to her about our concerns and she always give us great advice, she is not just sitting at the front desk asking for payments (like you see in some other places) she is really involved and know the children very well, of course when talking to Mrs.karen we don't pretend that she spend the rest of the day with us. There are children to take care off, more parents with their concerns or questions and god knows what other responsibilities she has on her position. I want to say that when we are home just to mention the name Acadekids, Mrs.karen or Mrs.Sooner my 3 year old inmediate reaction is to put a big smile on her face. Moreover; when droping her at Acadekids she just want to run inside the place and this facts give me and my wife nothing but peace of mind. Eloy Urbaez A Happy Parent !!!

Hello my name is Tiffany Muniz and I am Nathans mom. I can honestly say that I have no issue with this preschool what so ever. Any time I have had a question or concern, the school has been readily available to me at all times. Karen and Georgeth both helped me out in the past with an issue that caused me a great deal of trouble (personal issue) .... And before Karen there was America, who was amazing! And I've had my son since he was 3 months who is now 3 years old. He has had his share of minor children play incidents (bumps and bruises), but he is taken care of and I am notified immediately. Has there ever been a crazy incident ... NO! Nathan is always happy to go to school and I am AMAZED with how much he knows, at 2 years old he knows the alphabet, how to count in both english and spanish, recognizes animals and shapes, and knows how to say them both in english and spanish. As well as knows to spell his name. This only demonstrates how great his teachers are. I totally trust Acadekids with the wellbeing and safety of the most precious being in my life, my child. I rate this preschool an A.

i am a grandma who use to pick up my granddaughter at that school at three, I do believe that the teachers are excellent. I share the same feeling that the review below. It is a pity that the leadership does not feature the same condition. My granddaughter was being bullying by a boy that is six, she is four, Sometimes, she arrived at home with some crashes in the knee and one of her hand, and told us who was, her parents were to talk to Christina, the principal, to their surprise, she denied everything, she said that the girl was making it up completely. My daughter had to take the girl out of the school for good. We extremely regret that decision, because she was learning many important subjects and teachers were great and very capable pedagogically speaking, However, when the leadership is poor, bullying grows, I have been a scholar in this matter, and with a principal like this pretending that nothing happens is yet more terrible. Referring to the food, I have seen that it is true, some of the items I saw come from ALDI.
