Outstanding costumer service from the staff! Was my first time going to dr.Espinoza and it felt as if I've been going for a life time. She actually witnessed retinal diterriation in both my eyes, explained it and referred me to a specialist. The only thing I think that they should work on as a team is communication staff dilated my eyes when she wanted to do a follow up with me just to see how I felt about my new prescription on my contacts. educated, skilled, and mannered DR . Reccomded

Eye Center Kendall
Went to Kendall eye center for the first time. Everyone was extremely polite and very helpful. Dr. Espinoza was amazing and attended to my needs and more. She is slowly helping me figure out a way to help better my eye allergies. I thought I she would have just referred me to a specialist but instead is prescribing me eye drops and is going above and beyond for me! Overall me and my family were extremely satisfied with her and will hopefully remain with her for a very long time. :)

went to dr. espinoza doral eye center on tuesday of last week. i only had to wait 10 minutes to be seen. the staff was nice and knowledgable. i will definitely go back. i read the previous reviews and it sounds as if the staff and dr have changed because i didn't experience any rudeness.

This place is horrible, with hiding fees and employees with bad attitude, they want me to pay $78 over my $10 co-payment, so when a denied to pay that extra amount they ask me to remove the trial contact lenses that I have on before I leave the store. But if you desire to go please ask then for a writing estimate before anything. Omar Q.

Eye Center Kendall
Horrible place, unprofessional, long waiting, they just do not care about the customer, not organized at all, doctor super rude! Lori Espinoza worst experience ever! Be aware they are scammers if they make a mistake they won't accept it under any circumstances and they will treat you as trash! long story short went there for contacts and I end up with nothing after they fully charge my insurance and I paid $158 out of my pocket, but yes it was my fault I didnt read reviews at all, now I know and you can be aware too! Check Kendall Eye Center, Doral Eye Center and her name Lori Espinoza @ ripoff, better business bureau, yelp, google, and all reviews sites do not fall for stupids. :(
Tips & Advices
To find a professional that fits your needs and wants, look for an optometrist with the proper licensing and compliance with state-specific legalities as well as these qualities: attentiveness, ability to listen, ethics, compassion, ability to communicate effectively and willingness to spend time with patients.
Vision, like dental, is often an additional voluntary cost for employers who provide health care coverage. As a result, it may not be included in basic company-sponsored insurance. Those who do have access to this type of coverage - or Medicare - often only pay for a portion of their eye exam services.
The cost of an appointment with an optometrist varies based on the services required. While a typical eye exam can range from $50 to $250, depending on location. If if glasses or contact lenses are prescribed, or tests are needed, the overall expense of an optometrist visit can increase.
The American Optometric Association recommended that patients have their first eye exam at six months of age, followed by another at 3 years old, and again at school age. At that point, Regular annual exams are recommended.
Ophthalmologists are eye doctors that have received higher levels of training than both opticians and optometrists, and can also perform eye surgery when necessary. Opticians design and fit eyeglasses, frames, and lenses that are prescribed by optometrists and ophthalmologists. They do not perform vision tests or write prescriptions for visual aids. Optometrists fall between ophthalmologists and opticians. Optometrists can detect and treat eye abnormalities, prescribe lenses, and complete eye exams, but cannot perform eye surgery.
