Steak Houses in Mesa, AZ
1434 S Alma School Rd
This was our first time at this restaurant. We went with some friends. All four of us enjoyed our food. My steak was very good. The bread was yummy! The service was great. Our waiter was Ace Earl and he was friendly, helpful and very professional. We would definitely come back again.

I love this place. Great food and the service is good also.
3.Black Angus Steakhouse
6902 E Hampton Ave
Excellent Food and Service On 1-28-15 I along with seven others decided to give the restaurant a try to celebrate one of the people in our groups birthday. Our waitress was Saraab and for having just started working there, she was fantastic. Very polite, attentive and friendly and we all enjoyed her professionalism. We also encountered David and Roger and they too were very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable and plentiful. All in our party would highly recommend the Black Angus to anyone that's interested in great food and supreme service. Try it you'll truly enjoy your experience. Firstly, although I read a lot of restaurant reviews, I have never felt the urge to write one… until now. My bride and I happened to be staying overnight in the hotel adjacent to the Osaka Japanese Steakhouse, Sushi, & Bar. Coincidentally, it happened to be our 29th wedding anniversary. (My wife had to fly out of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport early the following morning

The rolls and butter are amazing. I ordered the country fried sirloin. It was delicious.. Absolutely amazing. Good food and not too expensive.

When I called to make my reservation she asked me if it was for a special occasion. Which I have never been asked before! I told her it was for our anniversary. She immediately congratulated me. Right when we walked in the door we were wished a happy anniversary. It made the night feel even more special. Our waiter, Travis, was awesome. He was able to recommend excellent wine. Our food was out of this world, cooked to perfection!

Oftentimes, older restaurants just rest on their laurels and once-popular places become tired and overrated. I was pleasantly surprised that the Stockyards was able to provide a wonderful steak in an old, but far from tired setting. Service was top notch - always keeping us pampered with professionalism and attention. The pickled veggie plate and cornbread that welcomed us were out of this world. Crisp, fresh veggies... warm, perfectly crumbly bread and cinnamon butter. We had a properly cooked sirloin and NY strip steaks, with a note from the waiter ""please let me know if it's not cooked to your liking, so we can get it right."" Of course, it was done just right. While the steak could have been just slightly more succulent, I think it was my cut, not the overall quality. I devoured it and savored every moment. The sear was perfect and bursting with meaty goodness. The sweet potato mash was a bit watery and not all that exciting. Our side of onion rings was good, but nothing extraordinary. The salads were fresh, albeit not so healthy with the rich and garlicky creamy dressing. The dining room was beautiful, in an old-steakhouse kind of way. They really have done a good job of keeping the place feeling fresh with a strong focus on its history. I would definitely go back. Also, they had a strong wine list.
22.Don & Charlie's
7501 E Camelback Rd
This place is amazing! The best time to visit is during spring training when there's TONS of celebrities there. This place is pretty easy going...it's not like City Hall or Flemmings or places like that. Don Carson is the man. He knows EVERYONE there is to know in the sports world and the memorbilia in that place is off the charts. There's a babe ruth signed basball and tons of other awesome meorbilia. I can't say enough good things about this place. You have to be a sports fan to really appreciate D&C's. I'm guessing the other reviews were written by people who don't fully understand and appreciate sports. YOu MUST go there if you're in town. The service is great! Our waiter was the son of a famous athlete and he gave us some pretty good insight on the sports world.

People, People, People!! I have read all of the reviews and not one comment about the ""Lovely and Talented Miss Dianne Lindsay (band). Yes, I do agree that the food IS something to talk about. But, let us all agree, if the entertainment was terrible, would you go back after spending your paycheck on dinner? You would not be able to enjoy your meal if the ""background"" music was ""upsetting""! Dianne and her band, Pat and Joe, are a large part of the pie for Drinkwater's being such a big success!! Keep up the great entertainment and the delicious meals! I certainly will be back.
25.Corleone's Philly Steaks
411 S Mill Ave
2630 E Camelback Rd
We wanted to go here mainly because we are from Omaha and eat Omaha Steaks a lot. When we got to the restaurant, it was empty and we were a little worried. We started with the calamari and the spinach and artichoke dip. They were both amazing! Everyone at the table ordered Steaks (of course!) and they were all cooked exactly how we wanted them to be. I really don't know why more people don't go here, except for maybe the fact that it's inside the Embassy Suites...especially because there are SO MANY people from Nebraska and the midwest here! The service was great, very attentive. I will be back!
7215 S Power Rd Ste 107
Not a good experience and won't be going back. Weekday evening and place was almost empty at 6:30 P.M. That was a clue. For starters, I requested pesto dressing on my salad....got balsamic. Waitress was pleasant but not very attentive. When I finally got her attention and asked about the dressing she said 'they mix balsamic vinegar with pesto'... > it was ALL balsamic vinegar, made your eyes squint. Husband had soup, watery and just OK. Glad it came with meal, would not have been happy paying extra for either a salad or soup. When we were served the salad and soup, she also put out a bread basket with 2 mini rolls. I'm talking mini. When our entree was served, we asked for a refill of the bread basket. Waitress told us there is a charge of 50 cents per roll to refill. We were shocked. We have never been to a restaurant where a charge was placed on refill of breadbasket. The owner was talking to patrons at the table in back of us who had a problem, then he came to our table, introduced himself and asked if everything was OK. Husband questioned him about the 50 cents charge and he confirmed that this was true, said he was tired of seeing customers not finish and tired of throwing out food. He is charging 50 cents a roll so customers eat what they pay for. He's NUTS!!! What a jerk. Our entrees were 8 oz. Filet Mignon dinners. Steaks were good, nothing special, certainly not worth going back for. The place can get pricey with appetizer, dinner, drinks and ROLLS. Doesn't sound like a big deal but his attitude sealed the point...we won't be back. I suspect from the lack of customers in the establishment on a weekday evening at dinner hour, it may not be long before it goes under. With his irritable attitude to his clientele, his cheapness, it shouldn't come as a surprise when he closes up.

3435 W Chandler Blvd
My wife and I visited Firebirds for lunch recently. We were completely satisfied with our meals and the service. It was lunch, so we had a steak sandwich and the French dip. Both were cooked to perfection and served with steak fries. I would not hesitate to order a dinner steak based on this experience. Try the Blue Cheese Chip appetizer, kettle cooked potato chips covered with a chunky blue cheese dressing.\r If there is seating, sit on the patio. There isn't any view but it is very cozy, centered around a stone fireplace.

Best steaks I've ever eaten. Worth the price. I've been to one in San Fran, Hawaii, Phoenix and all of them were good. Everything is ala cart so it can be expensive but it's worth it.
