Firstly, although I read a lot of restaurant reviews, I have never felt the urge to write one… until now. My bride and I happened to be staying overnight in the hotel adjacent to the Osaka Japanese Steakhouse, Sushi, & Bar. Coincidentally, it happened to be our 29th wedding anniversary. (My wife had to fly out of Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport early the following morning

Pretty unique sports bar for the mesa area. Very large warehouse feel to it but filled to the brim with LCD televisions. They have pool tables and darts as most sports bars do. I requested the TV in front of my table be turned to the Steelers game and they had no problem doing it. I went in on a Sunday and it was fairly busy in there but our waitress was checking up on us enough to make the crowd not an issue There were 5 people in my party, 3 of us ordered their wings (Great selection on flavors! The bourbon BBQ has to be one of my all time favorites!) while the other two ordered burgers. It was under 10$ for each of our tabs and we all left extremely satisfied with the entire meal. I didn't get a chance to try their bar but from my understandings this is a pretty good place to be on the weekend nights if you need a place to drink and dance.

I have been going in to the Goat Head Saloon for a couple months now. The place was down to earth with good bands and pool tables. Over time I meet both Jason and Jeff the owners. Jason has always been very professional and a great host while bar tending. \r I stopped in one Sat. and ordered a tall draft Jeff was bar tending. Everything was ok up until I gave Jeff a ten for a beer and he gave me back $2.25 in change. I asked Jeff if he knew I gave him a ten and not a five. He responded with ""you bought so an so a drink"" Only one problem with that argument Jeff. I was paying as I ordered! If in fact I had bought someone a drink and I was paying as I go, where was this person and where was the drink I had just ordered? Long story short. I busted Jeff red handed with holding my change and when I called him on it he called the door guy over and told me to leave. I flicked the $2.25 at Jeff and told him ripping his patrons off was bad business. He said ""Don't come back"". Well Jeff, you don't have to worry about that. I don't spend money in clubs that practice stealing from their customers. \r As I said, I never had a problem with Jason and I feel that Jason is an honest guy and great host. Sorry Jason for the review but, your partner is ripping people off and that CAN'T be tolerated by people who have spent alot of money in your club. \r \r If Jason is bar tending stay and have a good time. If Jeff is behind the bar, watch your change or just go find a club with an ethical bar tender.

Kick back and even through the peanut-shells on the floor! This sports bar & grill is a casual place to watch the game and enjoy great eats! They serve the BEST sliders I've had in the Valley. Also try the prime-rib sliders for a change (although I can't seem to order anything but the hamburger ones no matter how hard I try) They are Great. It's busy here (the food is that good) but hte wait is worth it!

It is the neighborhood bar that outlasts every other trendy watering hole in the entire downtown Gilbert historical district. While others try to sway customers with plasmas and corny karaoke, Champions stays true to itself and it's patrons. No fluff here, just good ole' frosty mugs, sexy bartenders and a chain smokers heaven. The next victim that is going to try to steal away Champion loyalists will be an Arizona microbrewery but for all their altitude, they won't even stand a chance. Historical Downtown Gilbert is only big enough for one sheriff and that's why he's the Champion.

i was pretty shocked when i stopped by what i thought was going to be a DIVE BAR. upon arrival, i was greeted by the barmaid, who was wearing not much either then a g-string and bra. after talking to her i found out that this WAS the required uniform. the drinks were cheap and strong, the music loud, the atmosphere was good. i will be returning there this friday, you can count on that!!.

Having been in&out of this bar for 20 years, all I could say once new owners took over 2 years ago was WOW! The icky is gone, remodeling projects always seem to be popping up, neat, tidy & clean throughout &the upgrades are limitless. Great selection of spirits &beers, craft beers, etc. Free dance lessons, karaoke, pool tournament, GIANTJenga, fuseball, corn hole& always something fun in work - beach parties, chili contests, salsa competition, bike runs, jam session &some of the best country music to be found: local favorites as well as Honky Tonk Tour, Nashville up and coming stars and tribute bands that are amazing (personal favorite - Jeremy Manley the Outlaw, Waylon Jennings tribute performer). Competitive pricing for happy hour as well as when not, vast and one of the best smoking patios around - suspended heaters in the winter, coolers in the summer heat & always friendly staff members & customer base ranges from early 20s to young at heart 99+ Come by, check it out, have fun!

Jupes used to be a great, friendly, all-locals-welcome sort of neighborhood bar, back when the owner ran the place. But once he turned operations over to his 30-ish son, the childish petty drama, lousy service, bad attitudes, and "sexual favoritism" became common-place at this DIVE /DUMP. One former patron described Jupe's as a dirty little Strip-Mall-Peyton-Place where the less-than-attractive people go to wallow & gossip at the watering Hole. Everything is old, dirty and worn out here. They don’t even accept VISA or Debit Cards! Many of my friends and even family were loyal patrons of Jupe's Bar for many years because our homes are in the immediate neighborhood. In February 2011, we discovered the owner's son was tapping more than just beer kegs...he was actually tapping 1 or 2 of the "regular" female patrons (even though he was married with kids). No Class, and no wonder these regular female patrons are known as "favorite" customers with special status. if you're female and you "put out" this is where you will be welcomed. If you go here, aside from the puking drunks & alcoholics, you can also look forward to old, smelly, torn upholstery, filthy worn-out carpet, blown jukebox speakers, only 2 crappy, crooked little pool tables with worn bumpers & warped cues, the ever-present stench of backed-up bar drains and 2 small, dirty restrooms...not to mention cockroaches the size of Volkswagons cruising the kitchen & dark corners. (Can anyone say "Health Department", please?) The only bright spot of this dirty little Drama Club was the awesome server Carrie, always with a kind word and warm smile for all who entered. The owner should have put her in charge, and would have been smarter for it. Instead, patrons have to deal with the little pencil-D son who couldn't get a real job on his own and had to ruin his Daddy's bar. Looking for a place to spend your hard-earned beer money and valuable social time....go elsewhere!
