Honest Air Conditioning
I have to admit that the name Honest Air actually scared me but due to the BBB rating I gave them a call.....Honest Air could not have chosen a better name!!!! They had the opportunity to have the job of replacing the coil on my AC or even selling me a new unit and THEY recommended I do neither! I was told to replace the coil was purely cosmetic and that I would be better to replace than repair, but the unit should be good for another 3-5 years. The owner was informative, educating me and helping me to understand about install, roofing coordination and most importantly treated me like he would want to be treated. He may have talked himself out of a job this month, but I am going to find every avenue I can to recommend him to everyone and HE WILL get the job when I need a new AC. Thanks for being honest, HONEST AIR!!!!!!

Sunstar Heating And Aire
Sunstar is a great company. I am not sure what all these reviews are about but my understanding is that they have resolved or tried to resolve every issue ever presented to them, the have no BBB rating which indicates nothing has ever not been unresolved. One person is repeatedly reporting things that had issues with a "son" who has not worked for this company for over 8 years. Very sad that people continue trying to ruin a business ( who lost a law suit with the son) and who has served the community for over 30 years with a great reputation in the Valley. Don't believe everything you read...reasonable prices ..great customer service....PMS

Schmidt's AC Service Co
Very happy with their service. High winds blew over our furnace vent pipe. Got a quick response and a call again on a Monday morning to schedule an estimate. They managed to get it fixed that same day for a very reasonable rate. Every employee we interacted with was professional and friendly. They definitely have a strong culture of caring for their customers and for their coworkers.I highly recommend Schmidt's AC Service Co. I'm a customer for life. now.

Schmidt's AC Service Co
This was just amazing from start to finish. They gave me a couple of options. Either set up an appointment for next week or have someone come on standby sometime today. I chose the second option and a tech was here in less than 2 hours. He quickly diagnosed my AC issues as 2 different problems, both which were relatively minor. Honest, skilled, fair, and easy to work with...I will definitely use them again.

Schmidt's AC Service Co
The only trustworthy and honest company that focuses on quality standard service regardless of the cost. I remained to be their loyal advocate for two reasons: Customer-oriented and quality-oriented. Their technicians are experts and professional, it's easy to communicate because they are responsive. Reasonable costs for AC Repair and I'm happy with how much diligent they've shown until the end.

Great company, exceeded my expectations in both customer service and quality. Very friendly staff and they made me feel like they actually cared about my well being, not just a number from some of the other companies i've used before. Low pressure and many options. Will use Simple Home Comfort again.

Schmidt's AC Service Co
The technician came over did a good job compared to the first tech we hired in different company who did nothing just to get tons of money out of your pocket. A highly skilled tech that really cares about you; answered all of my questions and did my A/C functioning well for a long period of time.

Tips & Advices
You can keep your air conditioner running efficiently with some preventative care measures. Shut off the power to your AC before cleaning it or performing any of these tasks:  clean your filter at least twice a year; remove leaves and twigs from cages; clean the fins with a garden hose or special spray, then use a butter knife to straighten any that are crooked; keep your yard clean so the fins won't get blocked; cover the unit up for winter; and make sure it's level or you run the risk of damaging the inner workings of the unit.
To clean your air conditioner drain, first shut off the power to your unit at both the thermostat and the breaker. Then remove the drain pan. If the pan is full of water, soak up the liquid with a few towels or rags or use a wet vacuum. You can use a solution of water and distilled vinegar, or substitute peroxide for the vinegar, to clean out the drain pipe. Let the pipe sit for a while in the solution and then put all the parts back in place. Once you start using your air conditioner on a regular basis, check it periodically to ensure condensation isn't building up.
If you happen to live in a hot and humid area of the country, drainage problems can occur with your unit since moisture can trap itself inside the system. Routine maintenance can cut down on drainage issues by cleaning out any mold or algae from blocking the drain. If you notice moldy smells whenever you turn the thermostat down, check on your system.
If you notice your system is acting inconsistently, the sensor is most likely out of place. Turn off the unit and reach behind its control panel while carefully bending the sensor back into place near the evaporative coil.
Find out where the noises are coming from. A banging or clanking sound could be due to a loose part. If you hear a hissing sound, it's most likely because of a refrigerant leak and you should contact an HVAC technician as soon as possible.
