The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and provide excellent customer service and satisfaction. You are greeted when you walk in and made to feel comfortable and never embarrassed. You can ask these ladies any questions and they answer you with knowledge and humor that makes you feel comfortable being there and shopping. They are helpful and insightful and they thank you and invite you to come back whether you purchase something or not. It was truly a wonderful and refreshing visit. Oh and the store and parking lot are clean, great lighting, and organized, they have armed security officers (so I feel safe) and nice things in the store. Overall, it was a great experience and I am definitely going back there to shop.

Lee and Jon at L and Jay literally SAVED my wedding day!!! My husband and I got married on Oct 6 2012 (it was the day of the monsoon in Memphis) and my wedding was outside. We moved everything under the tent and what they turned the tent into took my breath away. They literally cut small trees down and hung beautiful roses from the branches so I did not have to get married just in front of a stage in the tent (where only the reception was going to take place) I felt like they made my day (what could’ve been a disaster) into the best wedding anyone could ask for. From the first appt. to the last flower arrangement they placed on our tables, they were honestly AMAZING and I would recommend them 100 times over!!!!

Contracting Solutions
I am a fairly new home owner. Not long ago I had alot of roofing problems due to wind damage. I spoke with my neighbor who recently had her roof replaced by contracting solutions. The day after I made the call they came to my house for the inspection. They were not only friendly but they took care of everything. They talked with my insurance company for me and did it in a very timely manner. I am very satisfied with there work and I couldnt have made a better decision than chooosing Contracting Solutions. I have recommended them to my neighbors and friends. Samantha Morrison

I donate here every 6 weeks when I'm eligible. The research they are doing definitely serves a good cause- the current study that I donate blood for is the Walter Reed Research that is developing a Malaria Vaccine for the Military. It's beneficial research that supports the health of our troops, and it's nice getting a little extra spending money on the side. The people are professional, polite, and very nice to talk to during the collection.

Contracting Solutions
Contracting Solutions just finished up removing and replacing my roof. I am satisfied with my decision to use them they did a great job they kept my yard neat (which was one of my biggest concerns due to I live in a small gated community) They stayed in contact with me throughout the roof process and every day let me know what time they would start and approx. what time they would finish for the day. I highly recommend this company.

Peace of Mind Home Care
I tried a well known company (which cost me more) and the caregivers were not showing up. Finally frustrated fired them and hired Peace of Mind and it was the best thing I ever did. I can count on them and truly help me take care of my loved one.

Taste Of The South
The Green beans are GREAT!!!! The black eyed peas were too sweet for my taste. The people that work there are HONEST, NICE & GRACIOUS. My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience while there but the food needs to be warmer when served. THX

We are so impressed with him to solve on his team. They designed a luxurious master bathroom for us and worked with us every moment from start to finish. They worked around our schedule, stayed under budget, and met deadlines. Thanks so much!
Tips & Advices
If there is ever a dispute regarding payment over the course of the project, a contractor or subcontractor could place a payment claim, or lien, on your property. To avoid this, ask the contractor to sign a lien release, which is a legal agreement that states that any payment accepted is final. This can come in handy if a contractor has his or her own payment issues with their subcontractors. Signing a lien release form certifies that any payment made by a client to the contractor is enough to pay for any goods or services rendered.
Absolutely ask. Paying too much up front offers the homeowner minimal leverage if the quality of work does not meet expectations or contractual specifications. Try to establish a reasonable pay schedule, such as paying 10 percent of the total cost for each 10 percent of the work that is completed. Include this payment plan in the contract, as well.
Before any money changes hands, there should be a contract to sign. Make sure the specifics of the work and all costs are listed in the contract, including details. If you forget to have something included in the contract after signing it, there's rarely a chance of recourse.
Ask the contractor for proof of their certification before signing anything, as well as their proof of insurance. You should also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if they offer coverage for contracted work. You may want to call your insurance provider and ask for more details on what your plan will and won't cover.
Yes. Plans for how the work site will be cleaned at the end of each day as well as at the conclusion of work need to be put in writing. An experienced general contractor should make every effort to keep the workspace clean and prevent dirtying or damaging any other area. Even so, talk with the contractor about the daily schedule, the logistics of transporting workers and equipment, and how cleanup will be handled.

Just a moment...
