Tri-State Exterminating Greenlawn Inc
Fantastic Company. Very helpful in solving my ant problem. When calling to schedule they are always very courteous and helpful. My lawn has never looked better also. Prices are very fair and much cheaper than other companies. I have been with this company for 13 years and have been very very overly satisfied! Small business is the way to go. You get much better treatment! Thanks for everything Tri State!

I am very sorry I ever used James Pest. Did not like the 15 min treatment I got for hundreds of dollars. They make you sign a contract you can't get out of. I would warn anyone not to do business with them and tell everyone you know. You can use any company you want but I would never use these guys again.

I called to check on my acct because I have had problems with them in the past about scheduling appointments, then changing the appointment without notice (well they would call that morning saying they were on the way but they werent scheduled to be out for 2 more wks). So I called to check on things ( you HAVE' to do this while working with them). I talked to April first to go over my acct. she said I had a $40 credit. So I asked her when they were scheduled to come out, she said "were actually due to come out now". Then she put me on hold, so then Cathy picked up n got on the phone and told me I had to renew the agreement because I was past due. (But at the same time I had a $40 credit???). "The lights are on but no body is home people". This does not apply for the guys in the field. They are TOP NOTCH A+ in the field!!! The people that work in the office need help!!! I never received a notice or anything stating that my account had been dropped...really, REALLY? is that the best you can do??? I told her that I was gonna have to go somewhere else because of all the problems in the past and that this was par for the course but enough was enough. I wonder if i will get my $40 back??? hmmmmm,,,,I wanted to give "zero stars" but it wouldnt let me, but I can give a star to the guys in the field.JS
Tips & Advices
Ask your pest control company about no-kill traps you can use if you want to get mice, rabbits, opossums or other furry creatures out of your house without harming them.
Many pest control experts now offer environmentally friendly treatment for your home and yard with insecticides that aren't as harsh for the ecosystem. Check with exterminators around your area to see if they provide these kinds of services. Also, keep your plants free from harmful chemicals by spraying cedar oil or soapy water on your flowers.
  • Dispose of garbage regularly.
  • Don't ┬áleaving food or drink out.
  • Clean up after spills as soon as you can.
  • Drain any standing water in your house or yard.
  • Regularly mow and rake your lawn.
If you find insects and other animals trying to get in through cracks or openings, use a caulk gun to fill the gaps. You'll also want to either use traditional bug spray or a citronella candle to keep bugs such as mosquitos away from you during the summer months.
The price for exterminators can range broadly since they can charge for a monthly inspection and treatment. The final bill also comes down to the square footage of your property.
When pest control technicians visit your home or place of business, expect them to first identify what insect or other animal it is that's causing trouble. After identification, they will inspect your building to see where the pests are coming from and locate their hive or nest. Then the exterminator will spray or set out traps and bait according to which pest you have.
