Little Bears was founded out of love. Cindy Cromwell founded Little Bears in 1987, she wanted a place where children could feel loved while learning. Where parents could go to work with piece of mind that their child would be loved as if they were being cared for by Grandma for the day, and yet still be learning. A place where learning was extended outside of the classroom for young minds to explore. Being raised on a farm down the street from Little Bears, Cindy love to appreciate nature and wanted to share that love with children by purchasing a large track of land to start Little Bears. Over the past 25 years Little Bears has changed from a small remodeled farm house to five buildings designed to house each age group. But one thing has always stayed true, the love for children and learning. Many of our Little Bears children's parents attended Little Bears when they were small and remember the same loving staff members that are still at Little Bears today. Many of Little Bears graduates still stay in contact and have gone on to become many things, many are now, teachers, nurses, firemen, lawyers, police officers, doctors and even a drummer in a national band. Many stop by or email to reminisce about the good ole days at Little Bears and many are surprised to see a picture of themselves still on Mrs. Cindy's wall. Little Bears started out as just one woman's labor of love for children and grew into a large family of families caring for each generation to come.

Worship. It is an encounter with the living God through the risen Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit. Through our worship we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving to the One who called us into being and who calls us to gather together as the Body of Christ. As we worship, we direct our hearts and minds toward God who, in turn, reveals his grace in our lives in many different ways. We believe worship is, perhaps, the single most important thing we do as Christians, realizing that every day of our lives is a time for worship. Of course, we believe that we are not called to simply worship. We are to worship well and with integrity. This involves the dedication of both those who plan the weekly worship service as well as those who gather to take part in the service. How do you worship? Is it in spirit and in truth? Is it with an openness to Gods grace? Do you actively participate in the service? May our worship be pleasing to God and instill in us the call to worship through our service.

In my 55+ years of life I have never before seen a child care facility like this one. The staff has been there for YEARS! Unheard of, right? These people love the children, genuinely helping them as they develop as well as helping to coach those rookie parents and encourage them too! My nephew attends there. I am thrilled his parents found duch terrific people to watch over him during the day.

My child has been attending Learning Tree since he was two years old. When I was looking for a daycare for my son, I visted Learning Tree and the owner, Fran was there. She gave me a very detailed tour and told me all about the facility. She did all this even though her daughter-in-law had just died that morning. She was friendly, answered all my questions and told me that she wanted me to see the kitchen. I wondered why she wanted me to see the kitchen and she said that when I visit daycares, always look at the kitchen and bathrooms and if they are clean, you know the facility will be as well and it was! I knew then that I was going to have my son attend daycare here. \r Even though my husband and I read to our son each night and started him on the My Baby Can Read program when he was one year old, I know that the Learning Tree has helped tremendously with his social skills, reading and creative arts. I have personally gone to the center without my sons teachers knowing, to watch my child and others as they play outside, do activities in the classroom and was impressed with his teachers. I am a teacher myself, and know what to expect out of other teachers and the daycare. If I see something that is not right, I do not hesitate to contact Keith or Bob to inform them and they get it corrected. If my son is out sick, the center will call me to find out how my son is doing. When my son was going through the ""terrible twos"" and he was not listening or being defiant, I told his teachers to contact me and I would come to the daycare and help in handling the situation with my son. Even though the teachers thought they were inconveniencing me, they still called me each time and I came up there each time. It takes both the parents and the teachers to raise the child and I wanted them to know we are the type of parents who are committed to being hands on each and every time. The staff here are very compassionate and caring. Because of the Learning Tree and our parenting skills, my son is already prepared for Pre-K. He can write and spell his entire name, knows his numbers and can count, complete a 25 piece puzzle without help and pick up one of his books and read it aloud to you and he is just three! I wish as parents we can take credit for all of this, but it was with the help of the Learning Tree Daycare. Keep up the good work Learning Tree. I will always recommend your facility!
