Sears Appliance Repair
This was the fourth time within 2 months Sears has come to repair the same oven burner. There has been a different repairman and each time it'a a different reason why the oven burner won't work. During the last visit, he said it was repaired and before he could leave, it wouldn't light. Now, instead of one burner not working, two burners do not work.I purchased Sears extended warranty for a new appliance if they cannot repair. Instead of a new appliance, I keep her serviceman tying up my day and no success.

Mid America Appliance Parts Centers
I went to Mid America today with a broke I maker. The staff helped me out tremendously. I was quoted a price of $107 over the phone for the complete replacement. After gettin there, the parts only costs about $40 and one staff guy replaced the parts with tools from his personal car. Many years have passed since I've seen people genuinely help out like this. Hats off to this wonderful staff. Continue to volunteer great service.

Sears Appliance Repair
The repairman came to our house to fix my washing machine since it would not drain the water. He came early like I had requested and was a very polite young man. He had my washer fixed and working in less than 45 minutes and on his way. Replaced the water pump.It is still working great and I was very pleased with Sears service.Thank youMartha Williams

Tips & Advices
Aftermarket replacement parts can be perfectly safe and reliable, but be sure to do your research. If replacing a more integral piece, such as washing machine’s water pump or a thermostat for a busted water heater, it might be best to purchase new.
Replacement parts generally come with warranties extending anywhere from 30 days to five years, depending on the original price, the nature of the fix and the age of the part itself.
If you’re seeking new parts repair companies will generally mark up their prices slightly--particularly at a major national retailer. However, used parts are typically discounted.
Cheaper used appliance parts can be found online or at many local, independently owned retailers, along with ecommerce sites such as eBay. Major retailers, however, generally limit their selection to unused, full-priced options.
Second-hand appliance parts are generally anywhere between 50-75% cheaper than new ones, but warranties might not extend as long and the parts may be less reliable or come with a shorter lifespan. Be sure to research the source of any second-hand parts to ensure the dealer is reputable and the part itself reliable.
