My misfortune of picking up 3 nails in my front tire the other day and was after hours. I decided might as well replace both tires. I had to act quick as I commute daily on my bike. While I was not able to get my tires from this dealer, I did use them for the install. Extremely friendly Service Department. Dropped bike off at 11am. Went to bank and to lunch and popped in at 12:30 and picked it up. They got right on it as they promised. By far this is the friendliest, best staffed, and most professional motorcycle dealer in Memphis. Ben is a salesperson on the floor who has always spent time with me discussing the aspects of the bikes I like, and even after I have said I would not be buying for a while. This is great as I feel welcome there and know that I will be greeted by a staff that has the knowledge and truly seems to enjoy their jobs. At some of the competitors I did not receive anything close to this professional and upbeat reception. It was also reassuring that a mechanic I talked to on his break said their service window stays the same year round as far as wait time while down the street I was told by a competitor it would be three weeks before they could look at my bike since it was summer. While I have not bought a bike there yet as I have always had used bikes, and after four years in Memphis riding and seeking out parts and advice as well as service, there is no doubt Honda/Yamaha on Mt. Moriah is the place I am given the most respect as a walk in customer. They also have easily the most bikes on the floor and the biggest service garage of any dealer in the 901 Memphis zip code. To me this is the place to buy a bike in town.

A week ago I took a chance and flew to Memphis from New York to buy a car I always wanted, Honda Element SC. I explained to Bo Brigs and Marsha Rios that I will have to drive back about 1050 miles and hoped for a fair disclosure of anything that needed to be fixed and the process.Bo was kind enough to contact his friend Darrel who met me at the airport. Both Marsha and Bo were professional, open and actually curious that I came all the way to buy a car from them. I went to the Honda dealership to change oil and do some checks. We closed the transaction very quickly. It took me 23 hours to drive back to New York. I went thru snow storm in Virginia. It was not an easy drive. But, I am very happy with the purchase. You definitely need to check any car before you buy it. I did request the 40 point inspection at the Honda dealership before flying in. There are always small things that can be done better, but I do believe that Bo, Marsha, and Darrel did a great job.Andrew

I purchased a 2007 Murano on Feb. 5th from Daniel at Mt. Moriah. I also met Bobby Taylor, the broker for Mt. Moriah. As a woman, I am always skeptical of dealing with someone that I do not know because I feel that at times you can be taken advantage of. Bobby Taylor actually had been recommended to me by Geico Insurance. I spoke with him as well as Daniel. I found them both to be very nice, professional, and available to help me on anything that I needed or asked. The process of my purchase was over a 2 week period because I was traveling, however, the Murano that I chose I knew would not last on the lot very long. They were both very accommodating in making certain that I did get the car I wanted.I had a couple of issues with the car after purchase and Bobby did the right thing for me and had the small issues taken care of at no charge for me. Tim in the service center took care of everything for me quickly and very professionally.

Wolfchase Hyundai
I just purchased a new 2016 Hyundai Tuscon. I had the pleasure of working primarily with Steve Bizon. I highly recommend him and this dealership - working with him felt like working with a friend more than working with a salesperson. There was no pressure, he worked with me on my sales price, and he made sure I got all the bells and whistles I was looking for. Steve was very helpful and very thorough. I also worked with Young Lee (the sales manager) and PT (I forget his last name) in finance. Both were very well-informed, and PT also made the finance part of the deal easy and without a lot of pressure. I get that they are salespeople and trying to make a living, but I really appreciate that the guys I worked with at Wolfchase Hyundai recognized that I was informed and were willing to work with me to get a great deal on the exact car (features, accessories, color, etc) I wanted.

I was on the hunt for a new vehicle in November. As soon as I walked on to the lot and met David, he went above and beyond in helping me find my perfect car. He wasn't your average cheesy, fake car sales man. He was patient and understanding, as well keeping the experience light and fun. He made sure to find the best deal, working endlessly with Sam, the finance manager, in getting me the ultimate best deal for my financial situation. Sam was amazing as well. He worked and worked with banks to find me the right rates. He explained things into common language understanding, provided me with the information I needed to understand what I was getting into and any extra protection I may need for my vehicle. Both Sam and David followed up with me weeks later asking how I was enjoying my vehicle and if I had any questions.

This was the third New bike I have bought from them in the past two years. Emily, Greg, and Ron could not have done a better job than they did. I had been looking at the 2016 GL1800 for a long time and finally decided to go for it. On 3-18-17 I rolled into the dealership around 2:00 to look again, but this time I brought my other bike in. Even though they were very busy, the had time to take care of all of the customers. By 5:00, I had traded in the one I rode in on and was riding out on the new 2016 GL1800. what an amazing ride! as I have said before, do not waste your time with any other dealer in the Tri State area, just come here. Several of my friends and their friends have done and will continue to do business here. Thanks again.

Excellent Overall Transaction. We live in Ohio and saw a truck on Cars.com. We spoke with Stephen Toombs about the truck. We decided to fly to Tennesee to pick up the truck. Stephen picked me up at the airport in the truck we were interested in. I arrived in Memphis before the dealership even opened. The truck was just as described with extras that were not even listed. I paid for the truck and was on my way flawlessly in a very short time. Drove the truck over 700 miles home without a problem. It is 2 months later and we are still very happy with this truck. Stephen Toombs couldn't of made it any easier of a transaction, I will call him again when we are ready to buy another vehicle. Used vehicles in Ohio have too much rust.

Tim Pomp Rocks!!! This is the 3rd car I have bought from Tim Pomp. My husband needed a truck and Tim gave us a great deal on a Nissan Titan. It is EXACTLY what my husband wanted and he absolutely loves it! Since we had such a wonderful experience with the first 2 cars we bought from Mr. Pomp, we are customers for life. Mr. Pomp goes out of his way to make sure the buying experience is hassle free and he always gets our financing approved quickly. After buying a car from him, any service we need is handled fast & professional. If you are looking for a great deal on a great car and excellent service, then Tim Pomp at Mt. Moriah Auto Sales is the man to call.

Mt. Moriah Auto Sales
Steve Toombs made this a very easy process. I searched for quite some time looking for the truck with all the options that I wanted. When I finally found one at mt. moriah auto sale I sent some emails back and forth before calling them. Since I am still in Afghanistan it is hard to find time to call at will. After explaining my situation to steve, he pretty much explained to me everything that had to be done over the phone. sent great pictures of the truck and gave a very detailed history of what he knew about the vehicle. Also gave a list of recent repairs they had done.I would definitely recommend this sale person.
Tips & Advices
Crank grinding is a process that's done to improve the performance of a car's engine. The crank is a key part of the engine, and it bears the brunt of force created by the engine's combustion and the downward motion of its pistons. In crank grinding, a grinding wheel is used to grind and polish parts of the crank that are rough and worn.
Auto engine rebuilding is the process of refurbishing an old or damaged car engine. In this process, the engine is removed from the vehicle and completely disassembled, and components like the O rings, bearings, and gaskets are replaced. The key advantage offered by auto engine rebuilding is that it's less expensive than replacing an old engine with a new one.
Wheel grinding involves using a grinding wheel to refurbish certain engine parts for reuse. Wheel grinding is often used on the crankshaft, and this involves using the wheel to remove materials from the part's main and rod journals. Wheel grinding is usually applied to the crankshaft if the part's journals have suffered wear that makes them no longer smooth.
A valve job is a procedure that's performed to improve the functioning of a four-stroke engine. A valve job involves resurfacing the areas of the engine's poppet valves and valve seats that make contact. Valve jobs are mainly performed on high-performance vehicles, but they might be necessary on standard passenger cars that have experienced overheating, material failure, high mileage, or foreign object damage.
Automotive machine shops repair and rebuild car components. They offer services like cylinder head rebuilding, crankshaft grinding, rod reconditioning, radiator repair, cracked head and block repair, and the welding of metals on all parts of your car. Automotive machine shops also offer block and jug boring, as well as mill, lathe, and press work.
