Ernie the mechanic was great . My SUV has been having problems for a year and had been to 2 other mechanic only to have them give up on trying to fix it . 2 other transmission places would not even touch it because of the type it was and dealer wanted a fortune to attempt to fix it , with no guarantee in what they thought the problem was . Took a chance with him and within a half hour he found the problem . He even worked on usual Sunday off to get it back to me faster , I now have a new mechanic that seems to know his stuff and very reasonable .Thanks Ernie

Absolutely the worst place in the world. They lie, pretend they are working on your vehicle, and make excuses for everything they do or don’t do. I honest don’t even think they know what they are doing. Save yourself time, stress, and money and go somewhere else!!!

Melbourne Transmission Repair
As a woman I was very complimented by the care and service I received for my 2015 Camaro. This was the only shop able to diagnose the actual problem I was having and the price was right. Thank you so much

Buz's Automotive
I have been using Buz's Automotive as my service & repair shop since 2002. They do excellent work and are very honest. I have NEVER had to bring a vehicle back to them for the same problem. I bring all of my vehicles to Buz's Automotive as they have an excellent reputation for doing high quality work.

Buz's Automotive
Took my car to check an issue with a braking system. It took 3 hours to make a diagnostic. I was charged $45; never told me in the beginning about that $45... Take your car to Tire Choice on Babcock and US 1. They do diagnostics for free and the repair was $50 cheaper. Don't take your car here !!!

Intercoastal Auto Service
I brought my vehicle in to get an oil leak fixed. Not only did they not fix it, they made it worse. Blame it on being to too busy? Who knows. They gave me my money back and told me they don't want to deal with it anymore. Now my vehicle that was leaking a quart of oil every 2-3 days is now going thru 4 quarts EVERY DAY. They should have gone back in to make sure they put the engine back together right and the seals on correctly, but they 'didn't have time'. So beware of the business that's too busy to put quality care into your vehicle. Only go to them with minor issues, because any major ones will be brushed off due to lack of space in their garage and the time they have to fix it.

Cruisin Gold
I have been a long time customer of this shop and have spent lots of money to customize my vehicle. My wife and I took her Car in to have the stud that holds the lug nut replaced and I was quoted one price but when we came to pick the car up they nearly doubled the price of the repair, once I started questioning them they got extremely defensive and said we don't want your kind of people in here and threw us out after dropping the price of the repair to the original price. I have been taking my vehicles to them for over fourteen years years and I will Never go back after this experience!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
