Cornerstone Tree Service
My wife finally convinced me to have a couple trees taken down and several trimmed. One of my wife's colleagues suggested 'Cornerstone Tree Service'. Dave (one of the owners) came out and inventoried our trees. After a couple questions I could tell that he knew what he was talking about. He immediately pointed out a 'red oak' that was diseased and noted that when a 'red oak' fails it often does so by splitting in half. Yea, I was concerned about that tree. I received a reasonable quote and scheduled the work the following week. They were on-time and in two days had all the work completed. Their people were very professional and the site was totally cleared. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Cornerstone Tree Service
We are beyond pleased with the service the Cornerstone crew provided for us this week. First, they had the BEST estimate to remove a large ash tree, stump, and many, many difficult surface roots. They also provided valuable info about local ash tree infestations, making our decision to remove much easier. The Cornerstone crew did an absolutely awesome job removing the tree and stump, leveling the yard, and cleanup. Highly recommend!

Cornerstone Tree Service
I would recommend Cornerstone Tree Service to anyone. Their estimate was very reasonable compared to our estimates. Since my yard backs to school property, we had to obtain permission from the school district to perform the tree trimming services. Cornerstone was very helpful and professional in working with the school district. They cleaned up and prevent any damage to my and the school's property. They are very professional, knowledgeable and made the whole expertise pleasureable. GREAT EXPERIENCE & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Cornerstone Tree Service
I have used them three times. Very nice people, very professional with top notch equipment and skills. Reasonably priced and did total clean up and stump, like 35 foot tree was never there in one hour. They actually care about your property and try to save the tree if possible. Recommended taking old dead tree at daughters house right before big storm - probably saved the house and maybe occupants -children sleeping on second floor!Don't even know how they did it becasue others would not do job because tree surrounded by wires. Cornerstone Tree Service
I highly recommend Cornerstone. Their rates were the best from all the estimates I got. They just finished cutting down three very large trees in the front of my house - one of which was very close to the house and hanging over the roof - and they did a superb job. They went above and beyond in customer service and I will definitely be using them again.

Cornerstone Tree Service
After the huge storm that ripped through Medford, the tops of several big trees snapped off and were laying in the yard. While we called a number of other services, none of them seemed to have the time to give an estimate. I called Cornerstone and they came out the next day for an estimate. They did the work in one day and really cleaned up our yard, even trimming dead branches from other trees and cleaning up the many small branches that had fallen in the yard. Ie, they did more than we asked, and at a very good price.

Cornerstone Tree Service
I would like to Thank Cornerstone Tree for the wonderful job they did at my property in Medford .I had contacted Cornerstone Tree Service to remove 4 large pines ( 80 - 100 Ft) in my yard. One of which was damaged due to a storm we had. His Estimate was one of the best I received. This company is a family run business that is very customer oriented. Dave and his crew make sure you are satisfied with their work. He takes the time with his customers. He is not the type of contractor who just comes out , gives you an estimate and leaves. He explains all the possible options and limitations if any to the job. They had also planted 12 hemlock trees the same day the other trees where removed. His crew even set up the drip lines for the new trees for me. I highly recommend this Tree Service for you will not be disappointed.

Cornerstone Tree Service
I had a pine tree whose roots were messing up my deck. After getting several quotes, I used Cornerstone because they gave us the best price and thoroughly explained what they were going to do. Their work was excellent, cleanup was thorough, and they also fixed certain other tree problems that I pointed out to them for a very reasonable price. If you need tree service, look no further than these guys. They won't let you down.

Cornerstone Tree Service
We had a ton of dead limbs in the oak trees on our property, and recently two huge limbs fell in our yard which spooked us into getting something done about it :) We went with Cornerstone because they gave us the most reasonable quote and Dave showed up for the estimate exactly when we said he would. The crew was on time, professional and polite; job was very thorough; and cleanup afterwards was excellent!
Tips & Advices
Employers must conduct all required training in a language and vocabulary that workers can understand. Training must demonstrate the hazards of operating certain machinery, like stone cutters and splitters, as well as how to use them appropriately. It's important to verify that your landscape contractor has taken the necessary steps to fully train its personnel and that the appropriate safety precautions are in place.
Check the specific regulations for your area, and verify that your contractor has the necessary licenses. These may include a state contractor's license, pesticide license, CDL driver's license and license to sell and purchase nursery stock.
Landscape work is not cheap, so it's in your best interest to make sure that it's done to your requirements and that you get the best contractor to do the job. Homeowners should know how much they'll need to pay for the contractor's service as well as how they will be billed for this work. Ask about any design fees, if quoted prices are fixed or estimates, and what the payment process will be. Clarifying these items in the beginning will prevent any surprise expenses.
Yes. Homeowners should require that the contractor submit certificates verifying compliance with safety, insurance, workers' compensation and drug and alcohol testing programs. This will give you peace of mind that the contractor has gone through all the steps under industry regulations.
Yes. Every good contractor should have a list of recently completed jobs that you can see in their portfolio. They should also have a list of references that you can contact, or properties that you can see in person.
