YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Sand Gravel in Maryville, TN
Sand & Gravel
I needed a concrete work done but I had no idea what type of sand to go for. When I called FX and explained the situation, they gave me the options and their recommendation for what I was looking for. I trusted their selection and it paid off. My driveway is outstanding!

I am not happy with how I was treated by this company. On Tuesday July 6, I called 411 Crushed Stone to deliver two loads of gravel to my backwoods cabin in East Tennessee, near Vonore. I was promised delivery of two (2) loads on that next Thursday morning, July 8. The woman I spoke with, Tammy, made sure to confirm with me exactly where my property was located and said she had found it on Google Maps. No problems. They’d be there “first thing” that day. On that Thursday, the first delivery was delayed several hours while I waited patiently. We were told they were late because of deliveries to other customers. My “first thing” delivery arrived at 1:30 pm. The driver promised me he’d still have time to deliver the second load the same day. I waited. He never showed, or called. I called Tammy. She told me the driver had taken so long on the first delivery that he had decided that he couldn’t come back out until the next morning. I was again promised “first thing” delivery on Friday morning. On Friday, I again waited all morning. No delivery. No calls. I called Tammy, who told me they were going to have to reschedule for Monday or Tuesday. This is a weekend cabin. I live in another State. Delivery has to be on a weekend while I’m there. She finally agreed that we’d get our second delivery “first thing” Saturday morning. On Saturday, no delivery and no calls. By that time, I was done with them and knew I’d never get my gravel. I hadn’t paid for the first load, as we’d agreed I’d pay the driver when the second load was delivered. I heard nothing from the company. No invoice. No calls. Nothing. After a month I hired another company to deliver another load of gravel. All of that was in July. Four (4) months later, around November 15, we started receiving dunning voice messages on our answering machine telling us we hadn’t paid our bill for the gravel we got and were going to be turned over to their attorney for non-payment. No apologies. No invoices. Just threatening messages. As soon as we got an actual invoice, we paid it promptly. This company was unprofessional and undependable in their dealings with us. They made promises they didn’t keep. They wasted our time. We will never use them for our crushed stone needs in the future or recommend them to any of our neighbors or friends.
