Lorene Lodge
Horrible horrible horrible place. Old management was ghetto and a hot mess. NEW management is rude and racist. Roach roach roach infested. No matter how clean you are, how many times u bomb the room, or how much spray u use the roach don't leave. They come out of every where. The room are poorly put together. Bootleg hook up. Mold every where. So if u have allergies please do not stay there. All the stuff dat go dwn over there it not safe at all. Doors get kicked in and they won't even give you another room. Wonder why? Cuz that door liable to get broken in also. Carpet is so filthy walk around your room with no sock or house shoes your feet are goin to be black like you been walking on coals all day. They charge you for a queen bed and you get a full size bed.so much many more problems with this place. I'm surprised they have not been shut down smh. My advice is stay there at your own risk

Baymont Inn & Suites
First time in Marietta GA!!Even when you look at a map, it's hard to judge how close you are to what you want to see. The Baymont Inn & Suites Marietta was a great location for us... The hotel is convenient to the Life University. There were places to eat within walking distance, such as the Cracker Barrel . The hotel itself was clean and the staff was very helpful. The lobby offers comfortable seating and a continental breakfast. The beds were comfortable and offered you the choice of hard or soft pillows. Both were on the bed... Overall the experience was good and I would stay at the Baymont Inn & Suites Marietta again.

Lorene Lodge
This lodge is not as bad, it really depends on you, if you dont bother nobody, nobody bothers you, just stay to your self, everyone is nice and cool, the police is always over here like its a police station, which can be a good thing because if you ever have a problem they are always there. The top of the lodge is cool but the bottom is Afghanistan, something always popping off, you dont need to go to the movies, its live action. Police's be having big guns over here. The lodge is roach and bed bug infested! And in the summer i got hives all over me. Something about their carpet is not right. I bet its old. But if you really need a place to lay your head temporarily the lodge is ok. Just keep in mind all the stuff I said. And let this place be only temporary for you not permanent! Unless you like it then stay as long as you want its been some old folks staying at the lodge for a Lonnggggggg time.

Lorene Lodge
Lorene Lodge has had a bad rep for many years as the 'slum of Marietta' and while its improved some its still not up to standards of what people expect for the cost. The people are nice, the 'neighbors' are nice but still has a lot of 'riff-raff' and undesired activity. They do what they can. The place is infested with roaches in spite of monthly pest control--that's just that area. I was scared when I had to stay there but was there about 8 weeks with no problems.

Radisson
This hotel is Atlanta's best kept secret. Check out the Parkway Place Cafe and Alibi Lounge at Radisson Hotel Atlanta Northwest. They can host up to 300 people for meetings or receptions. It is a great place for weddings with the beautiful chandeliers in the Grand Ballroom. The guestrooms have brand new Serta mattresses and brand new 37" LCD TVs. I highly recommend this hotel located just off I-75 at exit 263.

Country Hearth Inn & Suites Atlanta/Marietta (formerly VR Lodge)
7 REASONS FOR STEERING CLEAR OF THIS PLACE1) Rude managers2) No warm showers during “rush hours”3) Bugs4) Slow internet5) TV stations going off at 11pm because they refuse to subscribe for standard services,6) Rooms are not within an enclosed building, thus anyone can come from anywhere and knock on your door without going through the receptionist7) Fridges that may not be working, may be actually disgustingly gross to look at, and may not get cold at all DETAILSSo, I checked in during the early hours of Monday at the Country Hearth Inn on 2767 Windy Hill Rd Se, Marietta, GA, 30067. I was reluctant to check in because the area at the motel did not have that feeling of a safe neighborhood, and I had talked to a few people working at the nearby grocery stations about their honest opinion of that motel, and all they told me was negative. I should have listened to them, but it was so late at night, and I did not know of any other motels in the area, so I was in a hard position. But before I signed up and paid the $995 for 6weeks, I spoke to the African-American man at the receptionist desk who told me that if I wanted to leave in a week, I will just have to be refunded $195 less the amount that I had paid for 6weeks, since the weekly rate was $195. And my total refund will be $800.Then, I moved into the room at 1am on Monday. I noticed bugs in there, the fridge was not properly working, there was mold and rust behind the fridge which grossed me out (pictures attached), and the next morning I noticed that I could not take a warm shower. The water was fringing cold, when I complained about no hot water in the shower, the response I got from the Indian dude (who happens to co-own the property with his mother) was that there is just one boiler in the entire block, and if I want a hot shower, I will have to go take a shower “after rush hours”. Well, I could not get to shower during my horrific 2 day stay there; I had to go to some old friend’s apartment to get a shower each time. So, on Wednesday, I got fed up dealing with the bugs, shower problem, fridge, TV stations going off early at 11pm, and I went to the front desk and spoke with “Ansh”, and he was the nastiest person you could ever come across with. Well, suddenly he and that woman told me that they wanted me out of their motel in 20minutes. Yes!!! 20 minutes!!! I was like whattttttt??? Even though I was eager to move out, but I did not say I wanted to leave in 20minutes, that it was the next Sunday. But regardless, they told me they wanted me to leave, since I wanted to get the money I had paid less $195 according to their co-worker, and I had complained too much about the room. So, I walked back to my room, got a couple of phone calls from them, but I refused to pick up, since I did not want to get further upset, since these people were all out to manipulate and wrongly obtain as much money as they could. Anyway, the woman comes in to my room (with an elderly man), knocks on the door, and says that she wanted to give me a deal, I told her that I will NOT be bribed, and that I was still going to report my nasty encounter. She then got upset and told me that she was not making any “deal with me” anymore, and I had 20minutes to leave or she will call the cops. I actually wanted the cops to come and see the rooms, well they did come and they did hear my view point too. One of the cops later told me this, “What do you expect at a place like this”? That he was not surprised to hear about my situation about the bugs, cold showers, TV stations going off, and fridge being messed up. He was so respectful and professional (unlike the motel staff), and the cop advised me to just go find some place elsewhere (I strongly advise you to take the advice of the cop too).

Just a moment...
