Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful. Fortunately, in my case I happened to run into Jerry many many years ago (8 or 9), since then I have been taking all my cars (about 5) to his shop for regular maintenance and repairs. The reasons are very simple, Jerry is a person you can trust he will do, or recommend to you what you really need to do to your vehicle, he is never trying to sale you parts or services are not required or indispensable for the well performance or your automobile, besides he always takes the time to explain to you why something needs to be done and looks for your best option, therefore having to fix your car does not become another problem for you. Next time you experience a problem with your car and have no idea where to take it, go to Jerry's shop and I assure you, you will be the next person writing a good review about him.

Best Auto
My tires were completely worn and I had to get them replaced asap. I own a Honda Fit and I had called 4-5 other places with no avail. Luckily I was able to find them at Best Auto Shop. Did not want to spend tons of money since my lease is expiring and I want to turn in the car. Called and got referred to Saul and Galo. Although it was Friday, 5 p.m. and pouring, Saul (Galo's Son) gladly asked me to come in. Once I got there, they quickly got to work on my car. Initially they changed 2 tires but then we decided to change 2 more they had no problem on doing it. Once they were done they asked us to join their Facebook page for great specials and rebates!.The service, price and professional treatment were great! I gladly recommend them!

Margate Auto Center
I have to assume that someone who goes buy Anonymous that reviewed this place is the competition. Very unfair to Steve and Nadine. I have been going here for 2.5 years. Never once have I been upsold crap I don't need.Twice I have taken my car for an issue and had it be something minor or easy and not been charged. I will never take my car anywhere else. My uncle is a mechanic in NJ and if he moved to Florida I would still take my car here. I can't believe someone rated them so low. Especially without any good explanation and anonymously. Very unfortunate for a very nice and great mechanic that never overcharges me or my family and never takes advantage.

Jerry is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. I have been going to him for years, and there are plenty of times he could have overbilled me for unnecessary work, but if anything it’s been the opposite. For example I was recently bracing for a big bill on my 2000 Civic, and he fixed it for $40 and the car is now running better than ever. I highly recommend him. The only reason I gave five stars is because you can’t give 6. An honest, reliable, service oriented mechanic is hard to fine and you won’t find one better than Jerry.

Fountain Auto Repair
I recently met Rich from Fountain Auto Repair and was impressed with his professionalism, level ofappropriate knowledge and his honesty. I had a water leak in my BMW and he diagnosed the problem, did not create any additional charges and repaired it very quickly. I am more than pleased with his work and will start using him forboth of my cars going forward. His shop is not local to me but what he offers far outweighs theinconvenience of the drive. I could not give hima higher rating.

S & S Car Care
I think I found a mechanic shop dedicated to better serving my needs, and accomidating me. I'm no mechanic but tired of paying for jobs that needed no fixing. I went for a test drive with the owner and he spotted my problem right away that not even the dealers computer found, Ovi garrentted me that was my issue, and said no computer would diagnose that problem. Without him knowing I spent over $3000 at the dealer. NEED A REPAIR? GO!

German Tech Automotive
Definitely recommend for a German cars. The owner helped me pre-inspect the older model BMW I bought, and dead on accurate with his inspection. Very thorough. Work needed to be done after the purchase which turned out to be much less than the sellers mechanic estimated. This guy knows German cars. Has worked on a VW for me that I owned before the BMW also. Always good work and a lot less than going to a dealer.

Alex Auto
Alex is great! He's not only a trusted mechanic but a family man. As a woman it is real hard to trust a mechanic, but Alex has always done a good job of fixing my car and he works with me if I can't afford new tires or any work that I'm getting done. He also volunteers his time and parts to the Single Mom's ministry at Calvary Boca.

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
