Honest-1 Auto Care
Maybe this repair shop should change it's name to DISHONEST-1! What is it with repair shops…when you bring your car in for something simple, like an oil change, it always turns out to be a lot more, OR something else breaks soon after…Brought my car in on a Friday for a simple $20 oil change. Once the car was lifted up, the technician showed me a joint bolt under the driver's side, by the tire, that he said was kind of loose and that it would cost me over $400 to replace it and that it had to be done, otherwise my car would get worse. I said, “No, just the oil change.” In less than 10 minutes after that, my car was done. Great! Right???? Monday morning, I walk out towards the car and noticed something hanging at the bottom of the car. It's the cover or flap underneath the car engine that is hanging half loose, almost dragging on the ground!!!! The technician at the shop probably forgot to tighten something and now it's loose and broken!!! Since the oil change, I haven’t driven anywhere far or on highways, only the small roads by my house...THANK GOODNESS! Otherwise, that whole piece would have come scrapping off my car, or worst cause an accident! After work, I went back to the shop and spoke with the manager, Jon, and explained that the cover or flap is loose because it was probably not put back together properly. He asked for my information and said it'll be around 45 minutes before they can bring my car in the back to look it. 45 minutes!!!!!! To correct what they messed up???????? After about 5 minutes, he went into the shop and came back out and said they can look at my car. He also told me that it was one of his main technicians who worked on my car Friday, and I was told that the cover was loose. I told him, No, that’s a mistake because I was never told that and when I looked at underneath the car with the technician, the only thing the he mentioned was the bolt, NOTHING else. The cover was intact and perfectly fine when I was looking at the bolt with the technician, BUT now, 3 days later, it's broken and hanging loose, barely dragging on the ground. The manager asked me to come back to the shop area once the car was lifted and showed me the broken cover and pointed out that it is worn out and that's probably why it's broken. Yes, my car is old BUT this was NOT broken and loose before I brought car in and NOW it is. I took out my cellphone because I wanted a photo of the broken cover, and he told me, "NO camera use is allowed." I said, "It's my car." "I'm just taking a picture of the underneath of my car." He said, "NO camera use is allowed in the shop area." I looked around and I said, "There are no signs." He said again, "No camera use is allowed." He asked if I wanted the cover removed or leave as is. The technician standing there said it wouldn’t do a lot of damage to the car, to not have it, so removing it would be fine. I agreed to have it remove, because apparently, there was no other choice, other than leave it hanging. The manager started to walk away and he turned to the technician and asked him if there is a no camera use policy and the manager heard me and turned right back around, and repeated himself, “No camera use is allowed in the shop.” REALLY??? Hmmmm….I wonder if this how the shop gets customers to return…simple oil change here….loosen this and that…in no time, the car will be back for repairs.

Midas Auto Service Experts
If I could rate this place a negative number I would. This is one of the most dishonest car shops there are. They charge you for parts they never replace and then when you bring it back charge you for more replacements then void the warranty if you tell them no. Do not go here.

Caspers Auto Repair
Ok guys until there's a problem. Gary gets very defensive and starts pointing fingers. Spent a lot of money the last couple years with him but will never step foot in his place again.

Caspers Auto Repair Yep he just called a customer by the N word. I had a car sit there for 11months and got the same thing everyone else has been saying. Another excuse, more time delay blah blah blah. Now to find out what this used to be honest and trustworthy man really is? Watch the you tube someone else took. He is a horrible man.

M & M Automotive
After a bad experience at another mechanic, I called M&M auto to get a price quote. They charged me HALF of what the other place was going to charge me. They also picked up a part for me since the courier service wasn't available, got me in right away, and got the job done in 45 min. I will definitely go back!

Caspers Auto Repair
Don't ever go to this place. They were supposed to fix a couple of vehicles for us for over three weeks now and have done nothing. I went in there today to talk about it and was told he will do it when he gets around to it. Told him I needed it fixed before Monday and he began to swear at me and threaten to beat me up and get the f#%& out of his shop! I have never been threaten to be beaten up in a place of business I was willing to pay them thousands of dollars! Do not ever go there or send someone to! Worst experience I have ever had in my life!!!!
Tips & Advices
Many companies, both local and nationwide, specialize in automotive glass repair and replacements. Drivers should contact their insurance companies to find glass or auto repair shops in their network.
Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
The adhesives used in windshields need at least one hour to cure, so drivers must wait before getting back on the road.  Similarly, drivers should wait at least 24 hours after a windshield repair or replacement before washing their cars. The water and chemicals in the soap can weaken the adhesive. Because of the additional pressure involved, drivers should wait three days after repairs or replacements before going through an automated car wash.
Replacing a windshield costs between $150 and $300 on average.
