Precision Automotive
I have been going to Precision for several years now. Ted, Chris, and Rocky have been wonderful people to deal with in the front office. These people know cars inside and out, only because I spent several years studying automotive repair and I know my fair share. Chris especially, worked on my old truck that had a very difficult issue to fix, and that man put every ounce of energy into making it right. I almost gave up after the third try, not because he wasn't doing his job but because my little pick up is just getting old , and they have tricky little problems at the age that my truck is. But God bless that man, he worked on it like a dog, and after the third try, (by the way no extra charge) , he fixed it! My little truck runs just fine and for a vehicle that is now 16 years old, it still plugs around just wonderfully! These folks are honest, they're not high-pressure, and they really take the time to make you understand exactly why something has to be replaced and why the cost is what it is. I will never take any of my cars or trucks to anybody else except these folks as long as I live in Manteca. I couldn't recommend them any higher. I can't believe that there are more reviews out here considering their reputation. My friend, who I also used to wrench on cars with, told me many years ago that these folks were the best place to go to, and this is one guy who had far more superior skills than I did. he told me about them back in the day when we didn't even have the Internet to read reviews on. So, I honestly have to say there is no better shop in this town then Percision automotive. I might also note that if you need bodywork to go to Manteca auto body collision, that is on located just as you are leaving town on about a mile and a half past Wendy's on Yosemite Avenue. Those folks are great body and paint professionals! But again back to precision I can't thank them enough for their kindness, skill and dedication! Sincerely, Bill Gutierrez -Manteca

Honest Automotive
Im writing this review after seeing the bad review about being charged for services done. I have been bringing my vehicles to Honest Automotive for the last fourteen years, and this person must have had a misunderstanding about these charges. I have talked to john about this and john stated that this customer has brought a vehicle in for alignment and was unable to have the alignment done due to a worn out balljoint. He gave the customer a estimate on repair and cutomer denied repair at the time, and advised that his brother would be doing the repair. due to the repair being declined the customer was charged a minimum of $47.50 not the full allignment price of $59.95. the $47.50 would then be reapplied to the full charge of $59.95 if the customer had brought back the vehicle for alignment.John also states that this customer STILL brings his vehicle back after posting this review.....I have never had a problem in the fourteen years of bringing my vehicles to Honest Automotive. And i will ASSURE you that Honest Automotive stands 100% behind its name!

Low Price New & Used Tire
I found this little shop by going on Yelp, actually looking for a phone number to another place, but after reading some reviews of this place, I immediately called them and I was down at their shop first thing Saturday morning. I was AMAZED AT THE SELECTION AND THE PRICE. Since my little Nissan Pickup is getting up there in age and I don't really use it for more than tooling around town, I only get used tires. However, I got a very nice mixed set of Goodyear Eagles and Toyo tires. Plenty of tread life. The total cost for 4 tires and a two-wheel alignment cost 200 dollars! I can get a brand new off-brand set that has a 60,000 mile warranty for 250.00 for my 2015 Honda Civic, once I need tires for it. I can't recommend these folks any higher. They are fast and they are more than fair. Their selection of tires is top notch and they have a friendly staff. I will always use these folks now that I know what they offer. There isn't a better shop in town and nobody can beat their prices and outstanding quality tires.

Low Price New & Used Tire
I have known Sam for almost five years and after purchasing one car I ended up going back to him for the second. I can tell you that he is one of the most honest business men I have met in a long time! I am not a friend or a family member in any way shape or form. I am a very picky customer with an entrusting nature. While he may seem to talk like most salesmen you meet I can tell you he WILL back his statements. Both of my cars were purchased in perfect condition at a cost considerably below wholesale Kelly Blue Book value and my wife and I are still enjoying the BMW 740 IL we purchased four years ago. If you need tire's give him a call! You have nothing to loose except your own HARD EARNED CASH if you do not. His shop is minimum but so his his overhead. If you really do need tires you should get at least THREE bids from different vendors to ensure you get a fair price. Just give him the chance to be one of those three and you won't be disappointed! Have a good day.

America's Tire Company
I went to America's Tires in Manteca, Ca, was helped by Israel Gallardo (Ish) and was very pleased with the service I got. I bought 4 brand new tires, had them installed and was out of there within an hour. I then had an issue with one of my rims (the issue started before I came down here. It just got worse as I went) so I took my car back down to Ish after I received my new rim. Ish was very kind, had my tire put on my new rim, free of charge, quick and efficient and had me back driving again real quick. Thank you, again Ish. You are the best!

Honest Automotive
Besides from the Fact that Mike was a pretty nice guy. I dropped off my car on a Thursday and they called later that day to tell me it was going to be done Tuesday. It has taken then way more time than they've quoted me to fix the car. If they're open from 6-8 then why can't they follow up with the timeline they've told me. They are a bit over priced and I wish they were more thorough on keeping the consumer updated on the status of their vehicle. Not a good place to go of you need your car

Honest Automotive
Customer service is excellent! The manager, Michael took great care of my car and all the problems that came along with it. This is the only place in Manteca that I will allow to service my car. I trust them implicitly and will recommend them to friends and family. LOVE THIS PLACE. Thanks to staff and a special thanks to Michael!

Sky Auto Repair
This man is honest, caring and knowledgable. His prices are fair and will work with you if you have an unexpected emergency, as I did. recently. I drove 23 miles to ask him to fix what I thought was an electrical fire under the hood. He had me back on the road in less than an hour! Absolutely trustworthy!

Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
