Horrible. This car lot sold me a truck with many saftey issues regarding functioning air bags and engine problems that im still paying into i feel there's many customers dealing with same issue's. By law they shouldnt be selling faulty vehicle's and putting people lives in jeopardy. I will be filing court actions against truck max usa

Precision Automotive
Dishonest owner and staff. Kept having issue after issue on a car that Chris sold me and other vehicles I took to get fixed. The owner was sued and convicted of fraud by the Bureau of Automotive Repair. The lawsuit is on public record for viewing online.Take your car elsewhere unless you want to keep having issues or get ripped off.

Trucks Max USA
Worst place ever!! They are not professional at all..The truck we bought started giving us problems 2 days after we purchased it and we called them to complain about it and they were suppose to do something about it but almost 2 months later they still haven't and they don't answer our calls. Since they have caller id as soon as they see our number they will answer and hang up. Worst place to buy from. Be careful.

Trucks Max USA
Funny, when we were first interested in buying, they treated us like VIP’s. They took all our calls and even called me. Now that we signed all the paperwork and paid for our truck IN CASH, we are once again, peasants. No longer taking our calls. We purchased a truck from Trucks Max USA. Two days later, it was in the shop with front suspension issues; oil leak from the transmission; no spare tire and needed a new set of tires. The great deal we thought we received was no longer a great deal after having to pay out $2k more to get the truck fixed.

Precision Automotive
I have been going to Precision for several years now. Ted, Chris, and Rocky have been wonderful people to deal with in the front office. These people know cars inside and out, only because I spent several years studying automotive repair and I know my fair share. Chris especially, worked on my old truck that had a very difficult issue to fix, and that man put every ounce of energy into making it right. I almost gave up after the third try, not because he wasn't doing his job but because my little pick up is just getting old , and they have tricky little problems at the age that my truck is. But God bless that man, he worked on it like a dog, and after the third try, (by the way no extra charge) , he fixed it! My little truck runs just fine and for a vehicle that is now 16 years old, it still plugs around just wonderfully! These folks are honest, they're not high-pressure, and they really take the time to make you understand exactly why something has to be replaced and why the cost is what it is. I will never take any of my cars or trucks to anybody else except these folks as long as I live in Manteca. I couldn't recommend them any higher. I can't believe that there are more reviews out here considering their reputation. My friend, who I also used to wrench on cars with, told me many years ago that these folks were the best place to go to, and this is one guy who had far more superior skills than I did. he told me about them back in the day when we didn't even have the Internet to read reviews on. So, I honestly have to say there is no better shop in this town then Percision automotive. I might also note that if you need bodywork to go to Manteca auto body collision, that is on located just as you are leaving town on about a mile and a half past Wendy's on Yosemite Avenue. Those folks are great body and paint professionals! But again back to precision I can't thank them enough for their kindness, skill and dedication! Sincerely, Bill Gutierrez -Manteca
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
