Anderson's Diner
Basically, the Southern style Soul food, which is served cafeteria style, is the best reason to come here.....probably the only reason to come here. This is a place to dine if you want good soul food and don't care about the atmosphere. This is the kind of place where the locals go. The meat selections today for lunch were fried pork chops, fried chicken, baked chicken, baked turkey wings, pigs feet, and neck bones. There was an assortment of sides. I had collards and rutabagas. The collard greens are the best I have ever eaten. They are cooked in some type of meat, such as fat-back, as are the other vegetables. The macaroni and cheese is also good. The meal comes with a meat, two sides, and a couple of flat fried corn bread. The portions are very generous....two people could easily share one meal if they are not big eaters. My husband chose the fried pork chops and was given three. Dine in and carry-out are both served in Styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. The restaurant is spacious, but definitely needs a face lift and updating. My lunch plus a drink was about $11.00.
Club Element
So at a club, club element formally club synergy in Macon Ga, last night a gay friend of ours was thrown out of the club for dancing in one of the cages against the walls. They let him be when he was dancing with his girl friends but when he was dancing alone and everyone was cheering security came grabbed him ruffly and dragged him out mind you he was not resisting the security guard. The club use to be a gay bar then they changed it but the same people that went before go now. When we asked security why he threw our friend in the street they told us "no guys are allowed in the cages". Thats the rule and i say dragging him out that way and throwing him out was very unnecessary.

Pietro's Italian Restautant
There are 0 healthy options on the menu, even the salads are coated in dressing, cheese, croutons etc. The food tasted and looked great but was priced well above what it should have been. The waiting staff seemed untrained and clueless and took about 50 minutes to get our food out after we ordered, it also took 30 minutes before we were asked to order in the first place.

Fatty's Pizza
Small, decent pizza, nothing too special. to be honest there is a dominoes that is cheaper and about the same quality down the road. Good for a late night eat after crazy bull closes. It is exactly what you would expect.

The Rookery
Great food, burgers and beers are of a wide variety. If you just want a solid place to eat you can't go wrong here. Prices are also pretty competitive, you'll probably pay around 10-12$ for a burger entree plus drink.
