Lina's Dominican Hair Salon
I moved from New York City 8 years and have been looking for a Dominican hair salon. I found Lina's hair salon and visit her for the first time this week. Once I came home and combed out my hair, I was beyond happy. I no longer have to travel to ATL and I can get the service I normally had living in NY from her. I would recommend her to anyone. The service was extremely pleasant. Thank you Lina very much.

Lina's Dominican Hair Salon
I once went to Lina's salon like 2 years ago, after I decided that I was going natural after so much breakage from such harsh chemicals; relaxer & permanent dye. My hair was short when I first starting to go but I haven't been in like a year. I wanted to give my hair a chance to grow on it's own. So I scheduled an appointment for I can my hair straight for my baby shower. I called Lina for her to schedule me in, she questioned me "have you been to here before" & "how you get this number". And she once gave it to me. Once I was there I waited for my turn. She then called me to sink to be shampooed. Now my hair is all natural, she asked if I had braids, I told her no my hair is just that way. Once I got in the chair she degraded my hair & made me feel very uncomfortable to even be there. Someone complimented on my hair, saying it was thick. She said in front of the client, that "they don't use combs, that's why I don't do natural hair cause it hurts my hands so bad." I was thinking who is they? She means blacks. She is disrespectful & mean. No one should go to a person of such matter.

PURE Salon
I love the atmosphere in this salon, it is quiet and enjoyable. The stylists are all incredibly nice and lovely to work with, they get a long and there is none of the salon drama that I dread so fiercely! The art is stunning too, when I am here I feel more like I am in a community art hub and it is exciting!
