We came to Lubbock for graduation at Texas Tech. We were meeting the rest of the family and had sleeping arrangements all worked out. Then my neice came down sick and running fever. We panicked because my daughter was suppose to be staying with them. Jorge, the night time guy on duty was extremely helpful. He was unsure as full as the hotel was that they even had a roll away bed left. Then, he wasn;t sure it would fit in the room we were in.However, he found us a bed and we were able to make it work by moving a few items in the room. If I ever come back to Lubbock, I would stay here and ask for Jorge.

Ordered a 12 ounce rib eye and got a 10 ounce. We enjoyed the dining experience and the atmosphere. The music was nice. However, the steak was not what I had hoped for. Flavor of the steak was really good. I was hoping for a thicker cut of meat. I have friends in the Elk's Lodge that could show them how to cook a steak. All in all we enjoyed it, but will go somewhere else for steak in the future. Royce Pearson Artesia, NM

Rain Uptown
This is by far the most authentic, elaborate and truly Italy inspired dishes to invade the Lubbock area. If you've not experienced this phenomenal cuisine, then you are missing out! Prices are very reasonable and the entree sizes are great to split or enjoy by themselves for a truly full stomach. Great for a first date or just to reignite the flames of a long term relationship. You will not be disappointed!!

The first thing I have to say is that Timothy at the front desk is the absolute best front desk person I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I worked at resorts for 20 years of my life and never had anyone be as good as him! he was kind, considerate, generous and even helped us out tremendously!! Just his kindness was worth what this hotel cost.

What a suprise. No wonder it is so big on the inside. the business is booming and.....the food is GREAT. My chicken fried steak was great and tender. The wait staff, and there is a lot of them are very nice and the food is there fast. we were at the tail end of the lunch hour, but you couldnt tell, as people kept coming in. Keep up the good work

Pancake House
The VERY best place one Lubbock, Texas to eat. A little known secret is that it's the only place in town to get a 100% authentic hand breaded chicken fried steak, mmmmm. It is to die for. All the employees are so friendly and makes ya think your walking into your mama's kitchen for breakfast. Love the food and the folks!

Stopped here after a long drive. Jorge was extremely friendly and helpful from booking to check-in. Our room was perfect; cean, comfortable, stylishly decorated and NEW! Breakfast was ready on time and it and the coffee was delicious. Best of all we get points thru Wyndham rewards towards a free stay.

Excellent hotel, staff, and very comfortable. But pricey. First night was two days before Texas Tech's graduation, it was reasonable at about $120, tried to extend, but the next night was upwards of $300. Unreasonable. I ended up driving to Amarillo and stayed at a 5 star hotel for less than $180.

I always love staying here.. the rooms are always super clean. You can't beat the breakfast. Hot waffles to eggs bacon and sausage. Even oatmeal and cereal. It's location is easy to get to. Can't say enough about the staff. Mike and Sandra are always great. They will help you out any way they can.

Just a moment...
