Texas Body & Frame
I'm a veteran and was referred to texas body and frame for a repair by usaa. They accepted the job but didn't fix the car after having it for 1 month. They charged me for a part that the didn't put on the car in fact it was left it in my seat. When I let them know about it they said they needed the part back and told me I didn't have to ever come back to do business with them. They are thieves and don't do the work they say they will. Avoid them at all cost!!!!

Richardson Collision Center
You wrote a review for Richardson Collision Center15 minutes ago1.0 star rating 5/23/2017I used this shop to repair my new 2016 vehicle because it was recommended by my insurance. This collision center was able to repair the dent and scratches with nice paint. However, the issues arose when I discovered paint residue covering my entire black and grey interior(dash and carpet included). Secondly, there was paint all over my tire they attempted to cover with Armor All, (the top of the tire was covered with silver paint), the chrome had paint on it. To make things worse there were new scratches and paint chippings where I had no issues before. They were able to clean the tire and repaint the chips and scratches, but nothing else. I'm still cleaning paint out of the carpet and it was done last week. Furthermore, I had to take my car to the Toyota dealer for them to remove the paint from the chrome. He knew immediately it was paint and described it as laziness.I would avoid the headache, dont pay them to create more problems for you. This collision center cant be trusted, worst of all, I even had an extra 200 miles on the mileage on my car.

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
I recently had the rear bumper fixed on my car. The men at Center M1952, on Andresen - Vancouver, WA did an excellent job. I will return to Maaco if needed in the future. I will also recommend Maaco to others needing car repairs. I can't praise them enough, that is how impressed I am at the job they did.

Narvaez
My experience with Julio Narvaez at Narvaez Auto Body and Paint was a complete scam which resulted in a loss of $6000 and a significantly damaged vehicle. In December 2014 we agreed on a restoration cost to restore a 1966 Ford Bronco. Julio stated that restoration of older vehicles was his specialty. For over a year he did nothing but make excuses, lie to me and misrepresent the extent and quality of the work completed on my vehicle. Julio constantly asked for additional money promising me a great end product. When I picked up my vehicle in April 2016, it was in pieces and in far worse condition than when it was left with Julio. When I asked Julio to return my $6000 he said he had spent the money elsewhere and my money would not be refunded because he was protected by declaring bankruptcy in 2015. I am filing a civil case in Lubbock Justice Court. As I stated in the beginning of the review, I feel that I was completely scammed by Julio Narvaez at Narvaez Auto Body & Paint.

Richardson Collision Center
I wish i could say that my experience was five star as some of the other reviews claim..however ,after getting my vehicle crash repaired,i ended up with overspray and several new scratches that werent there before.and of course everybody claims that it didnt happen here..well it did and i had the photos to prove it. But no one considers the inconvenience of having to return a vehicle again and again to repair things that should have been taken care of the first time
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
