This place is trash. Wouldn't let animals stay here. Run as fast as you can from this place. You will be highly disappointed if you move here.

Throughout my life I've been to my fair share of apartments, and I can assure you, this was my poorest experience so far.As a start, it's important to mention the foul conditions present in this establishment. There's been atrocious plumbing work done here; there are apparent problems with leaking which has led to mold appearing when it should very much so not be around to begin with. Attempts to have plumbing fixed have amounted to little to no difference. Air conditioning is very poor so it gets hot very easily, any regulation to control this heat has fallen heavily on the tenants themselves rather than management assuming responsibility for the poor conditions of the apartment. What could perhaps be the most threatening trait about this place are some of the very tenants and activity that takes place here. It shouldn't be hard to notice that the people around here are not in their best condition. To put it bluntly, there is a problem with illegal activity occuring within the premises. Attempts to deal with these issues have not fallen on management but rather the wary heads of the tenants that sleep every night. It's not uncommon to be met with hostility nor is it out of the norm to spot shifty, concerning behavior. Many of the tenants have made complaints before but were never taken seriously by staff. So instead of waiting for management and staff to come around and do their jobs, avoid this place altogether, after having dealt with this, I can tell you that is better that you avoid this place altogether, it's not worth your health. These grimy, unkempt apartments are a health hazard and by staying here, you are putting yourself at high risk.

Really good affordable housing and location and I don't understand why it has to be so long but I'll try to make this as long as I can

The Westbury
I put in an application and was shown a unit. There was no electricity in it so it was hard to see even in daylight. It stunk like animal urine and I was told the carpet was to be replaced. Nearly 3 weeks later, when I returned to take measurements, the carpet was still in there. They said I was approved but called me back two hours later and reported that MULTIPLE tenants had called corporate and reported that I had harassed them. Yes, I had gone by on the weekend and asked a man who I saw was moving out how he liked it there. He offered to show me his empty unit, stating it was infested with fleas who had bitten his young child, although he didn't even have a pet. Another man close by was also moving his family out and was telling me everything that was wrong. I took the below picture of outside his unit. He said it had been like that the entire time he'd lived there. So, I guess I lost my $30 application fee and wasted a lot of time but in the end, God blessed me when they called and said they changed their mind about letting me live there, right? What a nightmare it would have been. Come on now, really? Multiple people told me the place was maintenance nightmare and then took the time to call corporate and complain about me harassing them? I tried to call "corporate" and all I got was a voice mail recording. Hmmm... If a community has nothing to hide, why can't you ask a person who is outside on a sunny day, obviously moving out "Hey, how did you like living here?" without being accused of harassment... doesn't a perspective tenant have a right to know?

Oh gosh, this place. we've lived here for three years and made the mistake of signing on for a fourth (saving for a house) while the rent is cheap and the location in perfect, you indeed get what you pay for. Plants are growing in the gutters that haven't fallen off yet, the parking lots are a mine field, constant water issues, I was verbally assaulted by someone while walking my dogs, cars have been broken into, drug deals have been witnessed, someone vandalized the gazebo among other things. they also never fix anything, the Laundromat had drainage issues so the removed the machines and closed it, the other pool needed work so they drained and closed it, multiple pine trees are dead and haven't been removed, also a stairway between two sections of the complex lost three steps so they boarded up the entrances. safety is a major issue if you live here now and we should of gotten out when we had the chance.

If you value your safety, privacy, money, and general well being you'll stay as far away from this complex as possible. I am counting down the days until I can get out of my lease and get out of here, I'd rather live in a box under the bridge at this point. My apartment has a moldy like substance in the water supply, my privacy latch is broken, I have multiple cracks and breaks in windows and every single one of my maintenance requests have been either denied or marked as complete without anyone even stepping foot in my apartment (I have a voice mail from the head of maintenance that all of my requests were marked as complete but never signed off on or even attempted to be reconciled). I spent five days without heat in the snow storm in Feb 2016 and the repair guy made me feel like I was bothering him by asking on a Saturday to get it fixed. My rent has been raised by at least $80 from last year to this year without notice or reason, they've sold the complex at least three times since I moved in and keep changing/manipulating the lease just to get what they want. I've had third party vendors and staff barge into my apartment without knocking or calling while I've been asleep, my personal belongings have been rifled through whenever they come in to 'work on things' or 'inspect' and I've even had my dirty underwear messed with. I've had to install security cameras and sleep with a sword next to me just to feel safe. I even filed a BBB complaint with them to which they responded "complex refuses to cooperate or respond to us" - the staff is rude, un-helpful, money hungry and nobody cares. The staff berates and belittles you and acts like they're above you. I've had neighbors who told me they have been walked in on while showering, stuff stolen by staff, found mold in their showers, and the complex feels okay charging $750-1,200 a month for a 40 year old apartment that's falling apart. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away as possible.

The absolute worst place I have ever stayed at. Maintenance never came to my apartment when I called for a request. When my ceiling was leaking, they never came to fix the damage. They sneak in fees onto your invoice. The manager is super rude and never answers the phone or is barely in the office. It's a total mess there. I do NOT suggest falling for the free cable and inexpensive rent. It's a trap. I should have stayed paying $300 more for people who actually do their job and are willing to help you.

Yeah, the apartments are great if you like to pay $1.25 for each load of laundry only to find out the dryers don't fucking work.

Older but clean and well maintained. Management takes care of you and maintenance problems are always fixed.
