Vacuum Authority
The store is clean and very comfortable. The sales person was quite knowledgeable and friendly. Initially, I was very pleased with my purchase. I was told that my vacuum was the top of the line, and was being marked down from the regular price of $600 (recommended mfg. price was $750) down to $400. So I left thinking that this was a great deal. Until I saw the same vacuum cleaner at HHGregg for $199! The same exact cleaner was available at HHGregg for $200 less. I admit that I did not do research in advance, and that my purchase was an impulse. My purchase did come with 10 years of an annual service appointments (each is valued at $50). But this is something that I likely will not even use.I understand that our locally owned businesses need to make a profit, and stay in business. But when I see price disparities that significant, I get the feeling that the retailer was less than honest with me. That leaves me with a significant amount of buyer's remorse, and a tough lesson learned.
