St. Matthew's Plumbing
Hours before guests were to arrive for a Saturday evening party I meandered downstairs to polish up the odd fingerprint that might have materialized on the chrome and was stopped dead in my tracks by a nameless horror of a plumbing nature in my tub. I placed calls to 2 plumbers I've used in the past, waited a tense 45 minutes and then besought online help. My call to St Matthew's Plumbing was met with an immediate answer from a pleasant triage person who promised me a call from their on-call serviceperson. Within 20 minutes I was talking to a real live plumber who was able to render me a window of arrival only an hour later along with a call 20min prior to arrival. Remember, this was a Saturday. My 2 plumbers arrived within the promised window, with all four feet in floor-sparing footies. They wasted no time, and despite a few exploratory trips outside and some rather intimidating sounding procedures left me with a completely checked out and functioning system for bathrooms below and upstairs, leaving me only the relatively simple job of eliminating invisible forms of unseemliness with the likes of Lysol and Clorox. A job completed professionally, priced reasonably, and in the nick of time! The day is almost gone and am still awaiting call backs from the first 2 plumbers so I can tell them I don't actually need them...

CLMS Plumbing & Irrigation
Had a dishwasher installed by CLMS Plumbing this week, and was really happy to have found them for the job. I called them over the weekend, he gave me a price range for the work, a date and time for the service, and delivered on both. I bought the dishwasher , but the company they refused to install it because it would require a hose of a non-standard length, and it was against their policy to use a non-standard part. I explained this to CLMS Plumbing, and gave him the measurement between the dishwasher and the sink, and he said he would take care of it. On the day of the service, I wasn't home, and my husband supervised their work. He said CLMS Plumbing spent a good couple of hours removing the old dishwasher, making sure all of the new connections were good, and even fixing a poorly made (or perhaps damaged during delivery?) leveling screw to make sure everything would work well. He took away my old dishwasher, and gave a 6-month guarantee on his work.

I'll certainly call CLMS Plumbing again when I have plumbing issues! On Tuesday morning, while in the garage, we heard a noise: water dripping through an open access hatch while the shower was being used. While I normally do many repairs, on this one, I didn't even consider it, figuring it was a problem inside the wall or ceiling. I was referred to CLMS by my brother in law and called them, leaving a message. CLMS got back almost immediately. We exchanged messages by text and voice, he said he'd be here between 2 and 4 pm. Around noon, I got a call from. They were running ahead of schedule and could be over shortly. CLMS arrived as promised and very quickly found a problem. The pipe with the shower head was loose, and had been installed backwards by a contractor over a year ago. It took less than ten minutes and a bit of Teflon tape to repair and test it. I didn't argue with that. Will definitely call them again.

CLMS Plumbing & Irrigation
I was so happy I stumbled upon this business while doing a Google search. I called around the day before and prices with other companies ranged from $178 to $125 to unclog our kitchen drain. A plumber came to our house and gave us a quote the of $300 and told us we probably needed some new pipes, at which point we thanked him for his time and asked him to leave. CLMS Plumbing came out the next day, and had the best price to clear the drain!! Leonard was on time, courteous and professional. He came in, got the job done, and didn't try to sell us any additional services (which we didn't need). My family now has our kitchen sink back and are glad to be cooking and washing dishes again!

St. Matthew's Plumbing
I had a problem with my toilet and didn't know who to call after being stood up by my previous plumber. After reading the reviews I called St Matthews Plumbing. The triage person returned my call quickly and agreed to come out a few hours later. He gave me an approximate time and said he would call when he was about 20 minutes away which he did. Two very nice men showed up and immediately put on shoe coverings to keep from tracking in dirt. They even brought their own trash bag to dispose of the old parts and packaging! Afterwards they were meticulous about putting everything back the way it was. They have a new customer in me. They were great!

CLMS Plumbing & Irrigation
After noticing a leak coming from the 2nd floor of my house, I contacted CLMS Plumbing to come check it out because I was certain I had a plumbing problem. The staff was extremely responsive to my service call request and arrived at my house within a few hours. After a thorough inspection, the technicians concluded the problem had nothing to do with my plumbing but instead the leak was coming from my HVAC system. I am very appreciative for the technicians' professionalism, knowledge and responsiveness. If I experience any plumbing problem in the future, I would absolutely call CLMS Plumbing again.

It was after 2 pm on a Saturday, my gas water heater wasn't working and I couldn't get the pilot to light. I found Leonard's company on line and after reading all the positive reviews I called him. I figured it might be the therm-couple and would require parts and labor. He was here within an hour and was able to get the pilot lit. Then he showed me how to light it myself if it should happen again. The service fee was very reasonable and Leonard was courteous and professional. I will definitely call him again.

Plumb Right Service & Rooting
I had to get my hot water heater replaced and got hooked up with these guys via my home warranty. They were awesome. When the warranty people told us it would be another 4 days before they could ship out a heater, these guys went the extra mile and figured out a way to get me a new water heater the very same day! They even stayed late to install it for me that day too. It was very considerate and highly appreciated as I hadn't had a hot shower in almost a week already! I highly recommend these guys

Leonard and his crew are excellent! They've helped save me thousands of dollars with their professional repairs. Their service is prompt, all of the technicians on staff are very courteous and knowledgeable, and repairs are of the highest quality, with one trip solving the problem. From slab leaks to water heater installations, valve and main drain replacements, to removing tree roots from sewer lines, these guys do it all with a smile. I would absolutely recommend.
Tips & Advices
The following tools and common household objects can be used to clean drains at home:
  • A plunger
  • A drain snake
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Grease-fighting dish soap
Homeowners can mix boiling water with any of the last three products to break up grease and grime.
The main ingredients in clog removal liquid products are sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, both break down into relatively harmless components when it comes into contact with water or soil. However, both substances cause mild irritation to skin and internal tissues.
Also known as a drain auger, a drain snake is a coiled device around ΒΌ-inch thick. To use a drain snake, put the end into the entrance of the drain. Turn the handle to force the snake deeper, using extra pressure to force it through the bend in the pipe. Keep turning until the snake hits the clog, then either pull the snake and remove the obstruction or force it through. Once the snake is out of the drain, run the water on full blast for a few minutes to ensure the obstruction is completely removed.
Plungers don't damage residential pipes, but the force created by the act of plunging weakens the seal between the toilet and the floor.
Many plumbers, both local businesses and nationwide chains, offer emergency or same-day services.
