Levy Law Office
I was charged with a crime that didn't happened do to witness testimony. I bonded out of Clark county jail the next morning and retained Michael Leavy as my lawyer. He took the case right away and explain what we was going to do and how we was going to approach the situation from day one. He assured me that he would make sure that the charges would be dropped and we would get diversion so it could be dropped off my record. He always kept in contact with me and informed me a week in advance when my next court date was coming up. He did everything he told me he was going to do from the first day I sit down with him. The day I sit down with him and explained my case and what actually happened he seemed very interested and listened to me. After I got done talking he pulled his law books out and started doing research that minute. I would definitely let him control any case I need or would recommend Mr. Levy to anybody that wants a lawyer that on your side.

Hobbs Law, PLLC
First off, I must say that Mr. Hobbs has been an outstanding attorney. I was wrongfully accused of a crime I did not commit and I really had no idea where to turn or what to do. I called the first attorney's name that I saw---which happened to be Mr. Hobbs, I got very lucky! I called and he answered the phone right away and immediately relieved my worries and anxiety's about this whole ordeal. He answered all of my questions (which I've asked a lot of them too) and has always responded right away. From what I've heard, it's usually rare to find an attorney that you can reach when you need them---but that has not been the case with Mr. Hobbs. He is there right when you need assistance, he is very professional and he knows his stuff. He definitely gets a "5 star" rating from me and I would recommend him to anyone needing the best representation.

Hobbs Law, PLLC
The services provided for me by Mr. Hobbs were for the lack of a better term exemplarily. The implications of my charges may have resulted in the loss of my job, my house, and the destruction of not only my reputation but my livelihood as well. Thanks to Mr. Hobbs' legal council, unrelenting support, and his indomitable perseverance for the sake of his clients, have not only provided me with an Indespinsensable amount of legal options to better suit my current predicaments tailored for possible judicial outcomes(which as he estimated worked in my favor like clockwork), and the insurable relief for the overbearing weight that I needed not to carry along with the excess of of all the problematic excursions that life without reason can grant you. Thank you Paul Hobbs. Your expertise will not be forgotten and will forever be recommended.

Isaacs & Isaacs
My car was totalled in August of 2016 in a wreck that was not my fault. I called The Hammer right away and the next day they had their people on the case and at my house and the gentleman named Justin explained everything and made the appointment process for being represented very easy in a time of stress. I had my car financed through Chase and owed over $10,000 on my car and their lawfirm got the other insurance to pay off my entire vehicle, over $5,000 in medical bills including rehab, and reimbursed me nicely for my pain and suffering. My lawyer Walter Hawkins and my case manager Brittany Middleton are A-one, professional, prompt, kind, and always returned my calls and emails. I would recommend them 5 stars and will use them again for future endeavors, if needed. Thanks so much you guys are awesome.

Hobbs Law, PLLC
Paul Hobbs is a one of a kind attorney. When every other attorney in Hardin/Jefferson County told me that my case was next to unwinnable, Paul was the ONLY person that was willing to fight as hard as me. 7 months later, I walked out of the Hardin County Courthouse with all charges dismissed. I can rest comfortably and move forward with my life, thanks to a man that refused to give up...even when the odds were stacked against us. He is a true professional, in every sense of the word. You will get nothing but the very best from him during each phone call, email and face to face meeting. Paul, thank you for trusting in me and giving your full effort throughout the entire process.

Renn Patrick J
Our family had a legal issue so I called my business attorney to ask for a recommendation and he highly recommended Patrick. Patrick was professional from the first phone call, to the end of our court case. Leading up to our court date, Patrick was an incredible listener, and very good at calming us down and removing the emotion with good humor. In court, Patrick handled himself very well and was the perfect advocate for our well being and future. I can't say enough good things about Patrick. He has become a family friend and we are so grateful we found him. I highly recommend him to anyone that doesn't know where to start. He is awesome!!!

Received that call all parents hope they never get....their child is in Jail. We live in Indiana and our son got in trouble in Louisville Ky. She returned my call did the research on what he did and visited him before we had a chance too. He and a friend had 6 burglary felonies each and over 30000 in restitution. The outcome was a much lower restitution. A 7 year sentence was reduced to a misdemeanor and probation for 5 years...She saved our sons life and we will alway be greatfull for her. This case was also difficult because both of them pleaded guilty before calling their parents. She will serve you well hire her!

Paul S. Gold, Attorney at Law
Paul was my attorney in a DUI case after he came highly recommended to me by another attorney, John Decamillis. Paul was very professional in handling this matter that I thought I had very little chance of going in my favor. He walked me through the whole process step-by-step along the way. Paul is very thorough in examining the evidence and facts in the case and pointed to several things that I would never have though of. In the end my case was DISMISSED much to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend him to anyone who was in my situation (I was charged with a DUI .18). He's the BEST for a reason.

Isaacs & Isaacs
My experience with the Isaacs and Isaacs law firm for the most part was a good experience. It took a bit over a year to settle a claim for a car accident my grandson and I was in. My attorney was very pleasant to work with. My only frustration was towards the end with negotiating the settlement. There were a few bumps in the road but my attorney was able to work them out to in order for the settlement to remain fair. Every case is not a half million dollar case. The advertisements on television should reflect that as well. Overall, I would recommend this law firm to a friend or family member.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
