I have taken my two cats to Petsuites for five years usually at least six times per year, four visits being extended stays. To say they are treated with love and kindness is an understatement, so much so when one was ill the manager personally took him to our own vets more than once for treatment. My cats are always happy upon arrival, settle straight into their room and, embarrassingly, sometimes one of them does not want to come home! We have relocated and I am honestly struggling to find pet care which even comes close to the facilities offered here and am certain I won't be able to find such caring staff.

Was a good place to board your pet until about 6 months ago. Not sure what happened (staff/management change); but the service is now abysmal. When trying to make a reservation, the girl on the phone was all over the place, extremely unhelpful, and then downright rude. Asked for a manager and was told they would be busy for an indeterminate amount of time, Asked to be called back by management and left my contact information- no call. Made a reservation with another boarder and found out PetSuites has a dog flu problem right now. Will not be leaving my pets in the care of these people.

Pet Suites bathed, shaved and removed outrageous number of ticks from my dog today. Tania and Stacy patiently helped my highly anxious dog. He is 5 years old and has only been groomed twice in his life due to extreme anxiety. Other places actually turned me away because of the difficulty this situation presented. Roscoe made two very special friends today and my other dogs thank you also

Dogwood Kennels
We love Dogwood Kennels. We were apprehensive about leaving our Cattle Dog Kora for 11 days, but when we came back it was very clear that she had been well cared for. She loves going back now for grooming. We would not go any where else!

I tried Petsuites pet resort the other day with my 6 month old boxer. He loved it! Really nice staff and super clean. He did the group doggie day care and was so calm the rest of the night. I'll try overnight boarding too!

Dogwood Kennels
Best place ever! My dog came home happier than when I left him. Not to mentioned groomed and looking great! We will be back and will be sure to pass along their name to friends and family!
Dogwood Kennels
We have been using Dogwood Kennels for over 20 years. Great for short or long term boarding. Quality facilities and dog care. Beautiful property. Would not use anywhere else.

Tips & Advices
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
Vaccination requirements vary between facilities, but a good rule of thumb is to give dogs the rabies, Bordetella (kennel cough), and DAPP (canine distemper, canine adenovirus type 1, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza) or DA2PP (distemper, adenovirus type 2, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) vaccines. Cats should get the FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) and rabies vaccines
Kennels and pet boarding facilities generally incorporate exercise or play time into the cost of a night's stay. Dogs often get one or two walks per day as well as access to a solitary or group play area. Cats also get a large room to play in filled with toys, scratching posts, and climbing towers.
Basic accommodations include a sleeping area and scheduled food and water. The average kennel or pet boarding facility also offers ample play areas and toys to keep pets entertained. Some also provide simple grooming services like baths and nail trimmings.
