Lim George D DMD
My experience was very satisfactory, I came here for a root canal and from start to finish everything went well. I've been to other dental offices, this place is the best thus far. Everything was explained to me clearly as to what I needed, what must be done, and what I should expect. The case manager was very thorough, the staff were friendly and accommodating. I'm always afraid and nervous having dental work done, but if you feel this great walking in a dental office, it makes a patient less nervous. Then next was to be on a dental chair, the dental assistant took x-rays, and after a short time, it was time for the moment to being face to face with the dentist, oh was I really nervous!! Well, Dr. Lim proved me wrong, because he was friendly, gentle, calm, and was unhurried. Then the case manager came in and explained explicitly that it is better to get the root canal done now instead of a crown and later on if i have some pain, the dentist will take the crown out again, then eventually spending for a root canal. Saving money works for me so I agreed to get it done. That same night, Dr. Lim called to check how I was feeling. I had no pain at all, even after the day and another day after. I waited two weeks for my permanent crown then the complete procedure was done! I wish all dentist and all dental procedures are these painless! Thank you for making me feel good.

Wilshire Smile Studio Dental Group
My teeth are healthy and bright for the holidays. I’ve always been so conscious of my smile because of my slight overbite. I wasn’t sure if i wanted to get braces because i also did not find that attractive. I wasn’t aware of Invisalign at the time till one of my friends had educated me about it. Then it was set, i had to get them for myself too. I looked for a dental office that specializes in cosmetic and thats when i came across Wilshire Smile Studio. Called them up, made an appointment, came in for a check up and then there they laid out the plan for me and I got sold. Let me tell you, I cannot be anymore happy with my new look. I’m still their usual patient there because of my routine adjustments but its always a pleasure. I cannot be anymore grateful that they always have my appointments lined up for me - scheduled and they always call me with a friendly reminder. It’s always a friendly service at Wilshire Smile, i want thank them as a team. i highly recommend Wilshire Smile Studio for any dental related problems.

Arejan Silva DDS
After previously seeing another dentist and being dissatisfied with the results, I was recommended to Dr. Silva Arejian, DDS. She was touted as one of the best cosmetic dentists in the area and upon researching their website, her smile makeovers seemed nothing short of miraculous. Hoping to achieve the same result, I met with Dr. Silva Arejian, DDS. After listening to my issues and inspecting my teeth, she promised that she would be able to not only help me aesthetically, but also maintain the health of my existing teeth. Her kind and patient demeanor helped reassure me that I had made the right decision by seeking her expertise. During my appointment, she worked diligently at doing what was medically correct while providing me with the look I was originally striving to achieve from my previous dentist. Upon completion, I cannot express the thrill I received when I looked in the mirror for the first time. Once again, Dr. Silva Arejian, DDS lived up to her reputation and performed a true miracle. I am so grateful...

Dr. Lim was very kind and professional. In fact, the whole staff was very friendly. I went and I was very happy with their service-I got an evaluation and treatment all on the same day-other places will usually make you come back again with no treatment. And they're really technologically advanced. Everything is computerized and digital. I saw my x-rays and actual pictures of my teeth right before my eyes. Best of all, Dr. Lim explained what he thought I really needed to treat and what was optional and could wait. Leslie, the office manager, told me exactly how much I would have to pay, which took out all of the guesswork. I'm so happy to have found a new dentist! Oh, and getting fillings were completely PAINLESS, with anesthesia of course, but this is the first time I didn't feel any sensitivity or soreness. This is a progressive dental office that offers excellent customer service and tells you exactly how much you're going to pay. I highly recommend it, and will let all of my co-workers know

Manolo P Nicolas DMD
About a month ago we were walking tourists in Los Angeles, on Hollywood Boulevard. One of our son very much suffering from toothaches and we could not go on the trip this way. We opened the Internet The terms List of dentists in Hollywood and only intuition we chose Doctor Nicolas. It was a bit late and in case Dr. Nicols was in the office after time reception. We explained to him the problem and he was ready to test his son on the place (even though it was already closed).Dental treatment was carried out very professionally and patiently. At the end of the Dental treatmentand recommendations, we asked how much it costs and the handling of Dr. Nicolas did not want payment. A wonderful person who helped us very much and was able to ask for any payment. He also knew that we just tourists and did not go back more and yet he treated very humanely. We thank him very much. This case says about the person's character!

This place is hard to find, the parking is compact, and it lies within big buildings and busy streets. On the other hand, the environment is welcoming, the staff members are nice, scheduling can be prioritized, wonderful doctors, and the equipment are top quality! I can say that whenever I have my regular or emergency appointments at Wilshire Smile Studio the convenient time is scheduled to me. The doctors are very knowledgeable and caring when it comes to my dental care. I can always ask questions and they gladly answer them. I found Wilshire Smile Studio through a friend of mine and I’m glad she recommended this place. Compared to the past dentists I’ve come across this one is really well-trusted. I wouldn’t mind paying the price for the excellent care on my teeth!

It was my first time and I went to what I thought would be a routine checkup at Dr. Lim's office. Apparently I needed some work I wasn't prepared for or aware of. I'm always suspect of getting overcharged or unnecessary work. From the get-go Dr. Lim expressed concern and thoroughly explained the cost benefit. His staff was helpful as well as knowledgeable and friendly. At no time did I feel pressured nor did I feel like I was being taken advantage of. Dr. Lim advices was detailed, his work was painless and he's very meticulous. I view the benefit of having a good ortho doctor as a long term medical investment. He was great. His credentials are in front of the office - check for your self. He also follows up with his patients - via email and phone call. THUMBS UP!

Balderas, Abel, DDS
Dr Balderas is one of the most kind, gentle, and honest dentists I have been to in LA. When you visit, his staff is warm and welcoming, they are up to date with technology. The best part of the visit is he and his staff respects your time and you are seen promptly. I have always walked out of the office happy and have never questioned his recommendations. Other dentists try to use your mouth as a revenue generating machine. Dr Balderas doesn't. He cleans you up and send you on your way. The one time he did find something of concern, he took a picture of the tooth, sent it to insurance and called me in several days with the pricing options. Highly recommended.

Arejan Silva DDS
I LOVED this place. I went there for the first time this morning, and I have to say it was possibly the best dentist experience I've had! The office itself is very comfortable and clean. I was also impressed with the technology they utilize -, and how Dr. Silva Arejian, DDS was so detailed and caring regarding dental health of my teeth, it made me realize how many other dentists are behind the times! You can make appointments online and they send reminders and call you to accommodate you, I even talked to cosmetic dentist Dr. Silva Arejian, DDS before setting my appointment. It's also clear that their equipment is the latest technology, as well.

Brilliant Smiles
I have been seeing Dr. Reich for over 15 years and wouldn't think to visit another dentist. I first came to him needing 6 fillings redone after another dentist completely messed them up. I was even told I needed a root canal, but Dr. Reich was able to fill the tooth and stop the pain. That was over 10 years ago and I haven't had any additional problems with it - or any of my teeth - since. He's really the best at what he does and cares about you and your experience. I even drive to his office in Brentwood from Los Feliz - that's how good he is. In all of this time, I've never had a bad experience and can't recommend him enough.
Tips & Advices
  • Pick Your Plan: Most people purchase three main varieties, usually through their employers.
    • An indemnity or fee-for-service plan means you'll have to pay for annual deductibles and co-insurance payments out of pocket.
    • A preferred provider organization is less costly, and you choose from a network of dentists. However, PPOs have some limitations and accompanying deductibles.
    • A dental health maintenance organization plan limits you to just a few choices of dentists, and one doctor handles all of your oral care needs. However, these HMO are usually much less costly.
  • PPO plans and dental HMOs work with only a select number of doctors. While that usually means fewer costs, it also means you have less choice in the dentist who can treat you Before purchasing the plan, you'll receive a list of dentists in each network. From there, you can then pick a plan with doctors who meet your standards and requirements.
  • When picking a plan, you need to look at just how much you'll pay for each and every service. For instance, some plans won't cover your fillings or X-rays, while others may charge more or less for a crown or tooth extraction. You don't want to be caught off-guard by unforeseen charges.
  • If you're truly comfortable with a dentist and you feel he or she can be an ally in your ongoing oral care regimen, then consider signing a plan to just keep that dentist available. That means potentially deal with costs and other insurance-related factors that you might have wanted to. If need be, you might be able to work with the dentist's office to address some of the plan-specific concerns.
  • Ask family, friends or colleagues for recommendations. They will be able to provide details about a dentist's demeanor, operating style and approach to patient care
  • Meet with any prospective dentists to ask about what treatments they perform most often, procedures they're not as familiar with, what accreditation they have or any organizations they belong to and how their offices handles insurance and payments.
  • Consider driving distance, location and office hours.
  • Check With Your State Board: The state board can outline what requirements your dentist must meet and offer information about any discrepancies in the their background and if he or she has faced any disciplinary actions.
  • Remember Your Angles - When brushing your teeth, always place the brush at a 45-degree angle..
  • Don't Forget the Tongue – Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria. Brush it front to back and don't forget the sides.
  • Floss Everyday - Each time you floss, have at least 18 inches of floss available. For optimal control, hold the floss between your thumbs and forefingers.
  • Watch What You Eat - Sugar, alcohol and coffee contain phosphorus. While some can prove beneficial, too much of this chemical can eat away at your teeth and gums.
  • Keep in Mind the Mouthwash - Mouthwash can be helpful if used to supplement proper brushing and flossing. Most mouthwash brands contain chlorine dioxide, a chemical that targets the majority of oral bacterial strains.
Yellow teeth are the result of a number of bad habits, mainly smoking, drinking too much coffee and improper nutrition. Many dentists will treat with a whitening procedure.
These painful bumps are the result of irritation to the soft tissue of your mouth. These sores can make brushing almost impossible. There are a number of different causes for sores, including anemia or a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Your doctor will have to examine the bump, find its cause and then develop a specific treatment plan, including the use of corticosteroids to reduce inflammation or antimicrobial mouthwash.
