West Coast Dental of East Los Angeles
The doctor said I needed my 4 wisdom teeth extracted when in fact they had not yet budded out and I didn't have any pain. That would be unnecessary oral surgery. He also said I needed an deep cleaning and antibiotics to inject in my gums a total of 1500 ?! I went to another dentist and was charged 75 per quadrant for deep cleaning which total to 300. Never going back to these scammers!

Dental Center of Highland Park
Highly Recommend! They know their information, and are fast and efficient. One of their dental assistants was able to remove a stain I had had from braces for 8 years! Totally grateful :)

Krest Family Dental & Braces
Krest Family Dental is the place to go if you need any dental procedures done. There office is very clean and they will work with you to help you get what you need done. I went in for my appt, and there was no wait time. When I say 3pm. 3pm it is. I love that. I had a wisdom tooth removed and a root canal done on the same day. Why come back and endure pain twice? I asked and they said "if you want them done on the same day no problem your the boss". The doctor was so gentle and there was little to no pain. I got my procedures done on wednesday and I was good to go back to work Saturday. That was the best part. If you need a New Dental Care this place is hands down the place to go. Ps:They also have familk care and braces.

Nikaeen Orthodontics
Careless and money hungry. She permanently damaged my teeth for life. She also charges $6,000 for Invisalign, which is twice as much as other dentists charge. If you read positive reviews on her you can tell that they're all fake because the reviewer has only written 1 review. She's a real scam artists and it doesn't take a lot to realize it. Don't get suckered into her like I did.

Augustine Orthodontics
I am very disappointed knowing how bad your customer service. It is like nobody can answer any queries and concerns about the service offered by your clinic. You have to orient your staff so that they can be helpful enough to your patients and potential patients.I will never recommend your clinic to anybody.BAD SERVICE WASTE OF TIME TO VISIT.

Augustine Orthodontics
This Ortho was highly recommended years ago, but now that I am ready for my child to do the braces. I have recently inquired about this clinic, but they said a lot of patients are having problems because while in the middle of the treatment they just change the contract. Monthly payments, but 7 weeks service interval. It only prolongs the treatment, but keep asking for money. There are lots of Orhto clinic out there. Please do a little research by the way how they're treating their customers. Remember, braces are really expensive. THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU COMMIT.

St. George Dental Clinic
I did botox injections with doctor Grace Moussa at St. George at the Van Nuys office. She is an incredible doctor. She really listened to what I was saying, to my concerns. In a few days i couldn't frown (this is what I was hoping for!) and then in about 2 or 3 weeks I could see how wrinkles on my forehead started going away. Great doctor! Thank you.

Tips & Advices
While going to the orthodontist can be difficult, sometimes it's necessary. If you are concerned about tooth alignment, feel your jaw shift, or are experiencing problems like difficulty chewing or grinding your teeth, it's time to see an orthodontist.
There are generally three types of braces patients can be fitted for at the orthodontist:
  • The more traditional option, bands, wrap around most of a patient's tooth.
  • Brackets are the most popular, applied directly to the tooth in metal or plastic form.
  • Lingual braces are brackets attached to the back of teeth.
People of all ages can wear braces to straighten their teeth, but it is most common to be fitted for these adjustments between the ages of 10 and 14. This is the time when teeth are better able to be straightened because the head and mouth are still developing.
The American Board of Orthodontics recommends finding a dental specialist that is board-certified, offers free or reduced-price consultations, and displays qualities such as trustworthiness, ability to communicate effectively, and attentiveness.
Orthodontists must complete a four-year undergraduate program to gain admission to dental school. After earning a Doctor of Dental Science degree at an accredited four-year dental program, students must then either complete a post-degree training program or one to two years residency in orthodontics. Then they need to earn a state license in order to practice. Certain states also require board certification.
