My Pet Naturally
I took my dog Oscar to MPN for grooming a couple of weeks ago. I have gone to the store next door several times, but this was my first time using them for grooming. I was very happy and pleased with the service. I called on Friday for a Sat. appt and they graciously squeezed me in. The grooming aside (which was great), the service & hospitality was above and beyond. They gave me some snacks to try for Oscar. I just liked the way we were both treated and would highly recommend.

Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies
Staff is friendly, but not very knowledgeable. I went in for some Panacur/Safeguard dewormer. They didn't have either, so I asked if they had anything with the ingredient fenbendazole. Nope. They pulled up a few different dewormers, but staff couldn't tell me if any of them were effective or not. Place is fine if you're looking for cutesy items for your dog, but worthless when it comes to finding REAL medicine.

Mikes Pet Store
I purchased my First African Grey Bird today. Mike was very helpful he answered all my questions and did not rush me or make me feel unwelcome. I would recommend his pet store. Thank you

Collar & Leash Discount
They have a surprisingly good selection for a small store and operate really convenient hours. It's a bit pricey, but for a local store that is fast with a good selection, well worth it.

L.A. Love & Leashes
This is a fantastic organization that takes animals out of local shelters and puts them in the location of a former pet store to get them adopted. Really great people and animals!

For Pets Only
Great neighborhood store with competitive prices. Good suggestions, and helpful staff. There's no need to go to the chain stores, when you can support a local business.

I like the environment here. For me, it is very conjunctive for pets and owners. The staffs are also well-mannered and the way they treat customers is great.

For Pets Only
Works very well as the local alternative to the larger stores. Some of the staff members are not great with kids but overall a nice store.

Great local pet supply shop. They have all the essential stuff you pet needs. It has it's own parking lot so easy to make a quick run.
Tips & Advices
Pet owners usually sign a waiver stating that any injury or illness a dog suffers while at daycare is the responsibility of the owner. However, most facilities carry liability insurance and pet business insurance in the event of a serious incident. To prevent illness, facilities are strict about requiring proof of vaccination and general health from a veterinarian prior to accepting a dog. However, in an off-leash setting, scuffles or fights might occur. Reputable facilities will often hire vet assistants who can treat minor injuries and under-the-weather dogs.  For anything more serious, a good daycare should make it a priority to get the dog to a vet, and get in immediate contact with the owner.
