1.Arclight Cinema Hollywood
6360 W Sunset Blvd
I usually dread going anywhere in Hollywood, but I'll make an exception for this cinema, since the parking structure makes it pretty easy to negotiate. I like perusing their little gift shop while waiting for a movie to start (or you can go to the bar and have a cocktail!) They have lots of screens and showtimes to choose from, and typically feature costumes from current movies on display in the lobby.
2.The Chinese Theatre
6925 Hollywood Blvd
Absolutely love this place!
4473 Sunset Dr
What can you say ! plenty of charm and history!!!! very beautiful inside and way bigger then it looks from the outside ! Friendly staff too! What I love the most is the seating there , is so much room between you and the row of seats in front of you that people can walk past you and you don't have to get up ..lol and the seat are nice as well ! so just outside of Hollywood where Sunset Blvd. meets Hollywood Blvd.
10850 W Pico Blvd
Very nice theater. Staff is courteous and theaters clean. Close to Lenny's and other fine restaurants.
5.The Silent Movie Theatre
611 N Fairfax Ave
Get there early for a couch seat! Double features! Cult Classics! Guest speakers! Bands! Fashion shows! This place is a gem!
4473 W Sunset Blvd
A real gem in Silver Lake. Wide rows, comfortable seats. Friendly staff and friendly prices. A great place to see a movie and then walk to dinner in a wonderful neighborhood.
7.The El Capitan Theatre
6838 Hollywood Blvd
Movie TheatersAmusement Places & ArcadesTheatres
The El Capitan (owned by Disney) is a great place to see to see disney features. With kids movies, they will often have a live stage show before the feature. It is a big, glamorous, historic theaterwith easy access to the red line!
10250 Santa Monica Blvd Ste 2000
This is the least crowded luxury mall and theatre for sure. They have an excellent food section with a new ramen place that's worth a try. The movie theatre offers validation even if you don't watch a movie or go to the concierge if you bought enough things for totally free parking.
7165 Beverly Blvd
I've always loved this theater. It's the perfect place to see classic movies that deserve more than a screening in my living room, where i know i'm going to fall asleep. When I used to live down the street I'd always make a point of walking down to catch great films like Citizen Kane, Lolita and On the Waterfront and I never really minded that the seats were a little beat down because the prices were cheap and the popcorn was good... But now the place is even better, Quentin Tarantino bought it, put in new seats, shows great grindhouse films as well as old classics while keeping the prices and the popcorn the same!
10.Wundabar Los Feliz
1822 N Vermont Ave
Beautiful vintage venue that puts on great live events as well as having a stellar roster of films.
11.Majestic Crest Theater
1262 Westwood Blvd
This is one of my favorite theaters. It beats stadium seating multiplexes with its plushy seats and amazing decor. The starry sky and city facade surroundings gives you a nice calm you wish you could enjoy in an otherwise busy city. Perfect sound, screen, and selection, you can usually find a great movie playing here. Parking is never a problem and the ticket prices are competitive to most.
12.Pacific's Grove Stadium 14
6301 W 3rd St
Due to this , i have got a good place that you have provided and this stadium is too good and famous for its best things in it. Online movies without downloading

Nice price for new movies. Don't care for 3D movie's the only problem is the men that are saleing the tickets they are not nice they are mean the guys that are in the snack bar are always looking sad and very quiet they don't smile or are friendly that is very sad but one thing that is not going to stop me from taking my FAMILIA.

I love this theater! I've seen a couple of plays and an opera in this theater and I've enjoyed all of it. They make parking very easy with having a lot underground so you don't have to worry about that. They also have a nice courtyard area with an outdoor lounge/bar where you can relax before or after the show. There are 3 theaters in this area so there are always good shows and performances to catch.
15.Regency Theaters Inc
948 Broxton Ave
A great movie theater Huge screen and great sound Very pleasant staff There are sometimes Hollywood celebrities who attend or hang out in Westwood village
16.Arc Light Cinema Co
120 N Robertson Blvd Fl 3
It's LA you deserve the star treatment. So what better city to spoil yourself at the movies than in Los Angeles. At the Arc Light you have assigned seating which is fantastic if you want to avoid the masseuse for you neck over the next few days. The seats are roomy, the screens are large, the sound surrounds you.....it's everything you could ever want.
6081 Center Dr
This movie theater is located in a great shopping center and generally not too crowded. The seats are VERY comfortable and the theater has a bar/lounge. Their prices for beverages and popcorn are not as high as other theaters. Parking on the weekends is $2.00

20.John Anson Ford Amphitheatre
2580 Cahuenga Blvd E
Boy do the Ford knows how to rock the house! This Amphitheatre has the most perfect location ever being constructed right on the backdrop of the Hollywood hills! The entrance almost gives you the sensation you are entering a castle, then when you are inside there is a very chic picnic area with tables and chairs, and a mini stage for artist to show their many talents while you enjoy something to eat or drink. We brought our own picnic basket with food, drinks, and dessert. After enjoying an evening at the picnic area, we walked around to check out the bids being offered, water fountains, architecture, and other services provided. We were looking at other people's yummy food and drinks as the Ford also has a store with gourmet foods (which looked delicious!) and wine. After the Plaza we went to the main event inside the theatre and WOW! The entire place is surrounded with great decor, including the backdrop of the Hollywood hills, which blend right through the stage. The back of the stage is the actual mountain! It is entirely open to the sky, so it can get cold at night, but we had cozy blankets to keep us warm. Parking was very well organized and inexpensive. It was our first time, and I can assure you we will be going back very soon, as our experience was unforgettable. I keep calling it one of the best days of my life-ever!
1000 W Olympic Blvd
Since it opened last year i have been here 7 times. Always a good experience. The sound system is state of the art and the screens are huge. Not to mention good selection of 3d screenings. Only drawback is the high price for tickets.
22.Laemmle's Royal Theatre
11523 Santa Monica Blvd
...you have to sometimes contend with the idiocy of the artsy-fartsy Westsiders. I once sat down and someone asked me to move out of their line of sight when there were plenty of places to sit! Still, if you like eclectic film programming, you'll probably see a movie here sooner or later if you live in L.A. This theater is no great shakes, but if you sit close enough, the screen is more than ample -- certainly not a postage stamp-sized screen unlike the typical art house theater. Not sure if sound system is Dolby Digital/Surround capable but the staff plays films at a loud enough volume. Also like it's brethren the Nu-Art down the street, there is no assigned parking lot nearby, so you must fend for parking on side streets or Santa Monica Blvd, so heed the parking signs -- otherwise you'll end up with a parking ticket!
23.Chinese 6 Plex
6801 Hollywood Blvd
I saw SPACE CHIMPS with my son and 3 of his friends ranging from 5yrs-10yrs. The theater is Nice, Big, and clean. However there wasn't many people there, which was strange considering its opening weekend and its a KID MOVIE. I soon found out why. My kids wanted something to eat and drink and as usual we get the KID MEAL. First of all customer service at the concession stand was TERRIBLE. A guy there by himself named POOM, who has no kind of personality, looks bored and lazy. We WERE NOT GREETED WITH A SMILE but with a sorry tone of.............NOTHING...... as he stood behind the register. I finally said, ""Well hello, you're going to take our order right?"" in a very low tone POOM said ""yeah"".. We ordered 4 kids meals, which they HAD NO FRUIT JUICES avail. and the snacks with the KIDS MEAL was tiny fruit snacks. NO JUNIOR MINTS, NO CUP HOLDERS TO CARRY OUR DRINKS, a line build up behind us of only 5 people, a lady asked POOM if they can open up another register he said ""no"" Finally a manager (I Think) comes out and says they can't open a register yet. \r I went on carrying all of that stuff to the theater only to be asked by a check in girl for my tickets!! even though my kids were inside the theater already.\r I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS THEATER
