ok, some, maybe most women may shy away from writing a review for their health clinic, even if the experience was/is worth sharing. In the spirit of sharing free information, I choose to add my review to the ones that led me to this wonderful place. Especially in these uncertain and controversial days of shaky health care options, a clinic of this caliber should be commended and heralded for its noble efforts. The current wait for an annual is at least 4 months, so call today to get set up. Today I called at 10am. Dropped in by 10:45 and was done by 12:30. Not bad for a free service. The staff is efficient, respectful and very hip in their combined knowledge of traditional Western & holistic therapies. My paperwork took less than 10 minutes to complete. I qualified for the Green Card - free health services for one year! I made a donation as well, but it is not necessary if you are really strapped for cash.I encourage all women to either use this service or support it for their fellow womankind. The clinic supports healthy women and healthy relationships. A friendlier, kinder group of devoted public servants you will not find. If you do, kudos to you.So Her smart Choice is the place if you are looking for smart and efficient clinic.

I went to this clinic recently , i made appointment over the phone i was so nervous about the whole pregnancy thing because it was unplanned and i had no job or any other income , they told me that they will help me out with the program for people with low income . I went to the clinic and the staff were friendly enough to give me all the paper work once i told them i am there to apply for the low income insurance .once i filled out the papers they did a pregnancy test and put me in room where doctor did ultrasound and told me i was 8 weeks pregnant and explained to me all the options i had . I choose to go for the medical pill . Everything went smoothly and they didnt charge me a penny . After 2 weeks i went for followup which was also free and they signed me up for family planning program where i can get free std checkup and birth control .This is a very friendly place , if you are looking for a nice place and low cost this is the place I HIGHLY RECOMMEND .

Her smart choice is absolutely wonderful. The doctors knows what they are doing and are a very warm, caring, genuine .They were great! Very friendly, thorough with patient care & took plenty of time to answer all of our questions. They have their own ultrasound machine and a labouratory to draw blood so you don't have to go to a separate place to have them done. The office staff is great, too, and really makes you feel at home. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, which is huge in my opinion. I filled out my paperwork and was in the room in less than 10 minutes compared to other clinics like planned parenthood where i had to wait for hours with prior experience. That is the reason for me to write this review to appricate the good work they are doing to the society. So glad that I found Her smart choice.

Tips & Advices
OB/GYNs learn to treat infertility as part of their standard education. OBGYNs who further their training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility are known as fertility specialists.
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a treatment where medication is used to replace hormones a woman's body does not create naturally. Women are prescribed either estrogen alone or a mix of estrogen and progesterone. The former is given to women who've had hysterectomies, while the latter is for postmenopausal women. HRT used to be a common treatment, but doctors have prescribed it less often in recent years, as concerns of negative side effects increased.
Endometriosis is a chronic condition where uterine tissue (endometrium) grows in areas outside the uterus. This can cause extreme pain, especially around menstruation and during sex. Other symptoms include infertility, chronic fatigue, and painful urination or bowel movements during menstruation. In addition, many women with endometriosis also have allergies, frequent yeast infections, or sensitivity to certain chemicals.
Morning sickness is a common pregnancy symptom that includes nausea and occasional vomiting. Despite its name, morning sickness can occur at any time of day. The exact reason for this condition isn't clear, although most believe it results from hormone changes affecting muscle contraction and relaxation in the stomach and intestines. Another theory suggests morning sickness is caused by an abundance of intestinal bacteria in pregnant woman.
OBGYNs can prescribe or perform the following types of birth control:
  • Contraceptive pills
  • Birth control shots
  • Implants
  • Diaphragms
  • Vaginal rings
  • Cervical caps
  • Intrauterine devices
  • Tubal ligation
  • Hysterectomies
Women do not need to see an OBGYN to obtain over-the-counter forms of birth control such as male condoms, female condoms, or sponges.
