Goodwill Stores
This store is truly your ONE-stop shop for thrift shopping. They have a resale store that sells clothes, dishes, furniture, records, books, toys and other items all at low prices and all individually marked. I have gotten some great bargains there including a wooden coffee table for $7 and various picture frames from 99 cents. They also have an outlet store which is a huge room filled with tables of cloth goods (clothes, bedding, tablecloths) sold by the pound. They also have records, books, and furniture, sold by the pound also. Load up your cart, weigh it, and walk out. I bought a pea coat there (in perfect condition for about a buck twenty-five and a cache of Rubens drawings from some Russian museum collection for 99 cents. After you're done, you can stop at their café for a bite. They also have rooms for community events and a farmer's market once a week. And, of course, you can drop off goods at the donation center. This place is a bargain all around.

American Parkinson Disease Association
I was diagnosed with HepB 3 months ago and was devastated by the news. I have been ill and sore for over 10 years, with no one being able to figure out what was wrong with me. It was always written off as a virus or infection. Then 2 years ago the severe muscle cramps started. I had them from scalp to toes, and it was when they ran the full spectrum of tests to figure the cramps out, that they discovered the HepB along with severe Vitamin D deficiency, which I link to the HepB. I was so tired and nauseous and in constant pain. I am just sick and tired of feeling sick and tired!!nothing was really working to help my condition.I went off the Sebivo (with the doctor’s knowledge) and started on hepatitis B herbal formula i ordered from Health Herbal Clinic, my symptoms totally declined over a 5 weeks use of the hepatitis B virus natural herbal formula the disease is totally reversed!! Crossroads Trading Co.
The two stars are for the store concept and prices.. The three missing stars are for the horrible customer service of the employees at this store. I read the reviews of the service here, but I decided to give it a shot anyway, since I am a nice guy and figured I would be treated with the same respect. However, it is clear that the employees here do not care about connecting with customers or being respectful.. I will take my business elsewhere, and I hope management reads these complaints and makes proper adjustments so that future customers don't have negative experiences..

ZAK'S PAWN SHOP Open 24 Hours & Car Title Loans
Since i have very little dealings with pawnshops in my life, i was very hesitant to enter one., when i did go, i chose this shop because of the location and the fact it is 24 Hours as wel. When i entered i was thrown for a loop because i was greeted with a friendly hello!, and without hesitation was asked what i needed (i was selling something), in any case they treated me fairly, gave me respect as a person as well as respect for what i was doing., these guys are exactly what the city of West Hollywood says they are24 hours - Great Service - 0% Interest for 30 days

National Health Foundation Recuperative Care
A very old, run down apt bldg in a poor neighborhood. My son went there after being discharged from hospital. Cockroches were in his room. His new roommate was put into the bed next to him without the bedding being changed from the previous patient. This new patient stole my son's tablet and when reported the staff said nothing. Food was very minimal. My son never had the adequate nutrition he needed. They did not find housing for my son and he was released back on the street. I notified Cedars Hospital not to send patients here.

The Chrysalis Center
I had been unemployed for 7 years when I finally walked into the Chrysalis Center. The Chrysalis staff was very supportive as I dived into the core curriculum classes, learning how to craft an effective resume and cover letter. Key job interview instruction, and many mock interviews, gave me the confidence I needed to get the job I wanted. I highly recommend The Chrysalis Center to everyone who, like myself, experienced homelessness and a big gap between jobs.

Berda Paradise Thrift Store
Berda's is a small shop offering quality second-hand clothes, home decor, and books at reasonable prices. The selection may not be as vast as other thrift stores, but it is varied. I have found riding pants, planters, a sombrero, a complete tea set, picture frames, and a vintage suit at the store. Be sure and check out their $1 rack and their discount book box.

St. Vincent De Paul Society
How about a piano? How about a winter coat? How about some kitchen knick-nacks? You can find it here! This place is a warehouse. Big selection of clothes and reasonable prices. Lots of books too! Check it out and save some money. Ask them about donating goods too. You can clear out your closet and garage so you can buy more stuff.

Homeboy Industries
There are so many wonderful things going on in this organization, I highly recommend you take a tour. The work they're doing to help people who used to be in gangs, let it go so much farther than that in community imprint and service. Father Boyle is a model for how a nonprofit can have a wide and deep and effective mission.
