I am writing this review as an actual member of this church. Prior to becoming a member here, I was in fairly good teaching churches, which is very important to me. This is a bi-lingual church. Spanish and English. I speak and understand English and know some Spanish, but I have no problem understanding the sermons and bible studies. Pastor Eddie Ildefonso is fluent in both languages. This church is truly a missionary church that understands and lives out the "Great Commission" which is detailed in Matthew 28:19-20. This church has planted and is actively training leaders in Romania, Africa, Honduras, Guatemala, Pakistan, India and soon in Chile and Brasil. Over 500 churches worldwide. Pastor travels to these countries regularly each year and when not traveling, he conducts Skype training. There are also missionary teams that travel as well. Pastor Eddie is also the overseas dean of Covington Theological Seminary and partners with affiliated churches in overseas missionary efforts. Here at home, the congregation is also involved in local missionary efforts. All in all this is a great church to receive in depth teaching in the bible and learn to apply biblical principals in your life. I would recommend this church families and individuals looking for a church home in the Westchester area of Los Angeles.
The IHMC communities and organizations' unity, teamwork and collaboration made r activities worthwhile and a total success. Thanks to working Angels Mary, Mely. Lorie, Susan, Luz , Daisy and husband , renovation funding efforts under Fr Rodel. Love Tuesday Mass and Adoration, solemn heart to heart talk with Jesus where I felt peace, joy, comfort and strength that when I leave d church I'm equipped to face d challenges of my everyday life with a smile. Thanks to priest 's reminder on dress code, not so appropriate attires were minimized if not eliminated. , Fr Thai is very concern, nice and accommodating. Thanks for LSS support. Come ... Jesus, Mama Mary and IHMC give d greatest gift....LOVE.
Born in Catholic family however i attended public school.2nd semester moved to Hauser St.and enrolled in Holy Spirit School. Prepared for my 1st Holy Communion. It was a mental grind with plenty of study and I made it, my 1st Holy Communion. The sisters, priests and brothers were beautiful people. I will never forget Holy Spirit, a miracle from the hand of God. We moved back to Detroit. I would preferred to have finished out my 8th grade at HS and gone on to St. John Vianney for high-school. They say things happen for a reason and I would not question the workings of God, but Holy Spirit was such a good fit for me,. I loved the place, really. The only student I remember by name was LARRY JET. I still have my 7th grade class picture.
I have been taking my children here since January 2008. I love this place, and so do my kids. My son is about to graduate from here in May, and I get a little emotional as I think about leaving for the last time. We love Teacher Carmen. She has more than adequately prepared our children for Kindergarten, and we know she truly cares about her class.my first review written for them: 2/1/09Comments: My daughter loves going to school every day. She was one of the first babies in their infant care program and we plan on staying for preschool, too. The teachers are warm and friendly, and very compassionate about their jobs. I also love the kid friendly decor in each of the rooms. What a fun and happy place for kids to learn and grow!
Wonderful daycare. Both our kids have been here since 6 weeks - from the infant room through the next two classrooms. Very loving, caring staff, the kids are always excited to go to school each day and the teachers make a fuss of them. They are always very helpful - I have been able to cloth diaper both babies here, and provide the food I want the babies to eat. Love the schedules that the babies are on in each room, and I like the structure for learning through play, music and other activities. Definitely the best daycare in the area.
Oasis Church is a nondenominational multiethnic church that proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ. There are many opportunities to serve the community and church, several outreach groups, support groups, etc. There is no pressure to do anything you don't want to do. You can visit the church on Sunday morning, sit way in the back row, and then decide for youself if Oasis is right for you. Dress is casual, and all socio-economic and age groups are represented...Five Stars!
Parent: June 25, 2015 was Busy Bees 44th Annual Graduation Exercises, Theme: Hold High The Torch of Learning. It was such a joy to see the children shinning indeed, they said their parts so clear and fluent, what a great job done by their Teacher Mrs. Craig, thumbs up to her, she did an awesome job! A lot of parents were so impress by this graduation some are thinking to bring their children for the fall. Keep up the good works Busy Bees Teachers.
This is an amazing educational institution - teachers (Susy, Aracely,Jade & Karen) are all kind, respectful, warm, and loving, and the facility itself is beautiful. Not to mention, there is an incredible community of committed and involved families!
