YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
Antique Dealers in Los Angeles, CA
1.East Meets West Antiques
160 N La Brea Ave
I have been shopping at East Meets West for over ten years as an interior designer and I can tell you first-hand that it is simply a beautiful showroom. Louis takes great pride in representing authentic Americana and his collection is carefully edited and curated. He is wonderfully personable, has an amazing knowledge of his product, and also makes buying as well as selling on consigment very easy. If you are looking for museum quality, authentic American antiques, this is your shop. He has successfully sold pieces of mine and I respect he does not sell reproductions. Only the best antiques, blankets, quilts, paintings, hutches, chairs, upholstery, beds, ironstone, I could go on and on, you must see it for yourself. This is a man who lives his passion, decorating historical homes, movie sets, or city lofts. He is just as sweet to the world class decorator as he was to me, the beginner, years ago and he is truly in a league of his own on both the East and West Coasts. His business is always thriving and that is because of the world-class product and service he provides. He lives, eats, and breathes this stuff and is so incredibly generous and fun to boot. you will be transported to another world when you shop here!

I brought a torn oil painting to this restoration center. I expected it would never look the same but, as it was a valued family item, I hoped it could be restored well enough that the repair would not be obvious. In fact, not only was the repair completely invisible, but the entire painting was given a badly needed cleaning and restoration and looked altogether better. The founder and proprietor, Mr. Zoltan Papp, explained to me the detailed process that was performed, and I was impressed with his expertise. His working area looks like a museum, with paintings, china, and various collectibles awaiting his master touch.

I purchased an item, online, from LA Vintage and despite me being in the UK, these guys were amazing. The customer service and support received through out the transaction was nothing short of perfection, at every opportunity Shepard (the sales person who was looking after my transaction) went the extra mile, including gift wrapping my order.I would have no hesitation purchasing from LA Vintage and wish every retail company was as helpful and supportive as LA Vintage.Big points for small business!

If you have an old house, this store is a fantastic resource for hardware. We replaced so many light switches and outlet covers with antique brass items from here. Not cheap, but worth it.

So Hollywood! Of all the shops in all the world I walked into this one... and what a place it turned out to be. I have been to a lot of shops in Los Angeles and this place had the best mix of fine European small decorative art of any that I have seen. Everything had a certain quality about it and the service was great! I'll be back! Sooo Hollywood!

27.Randall Barbera -Antique Trunk Restoration & Design
AntiquesInterior Designers & Decorators
I recently purchased an antique Louis Vuitton Damier trunk as a gift for my wife. I gave Randall Barbera a call at the beginning of March. Per his request, I sent him pictures of my trunk. He told me the trunk looked like it was in good shape and quoted me a price of $2,000-$2,500 for the “restoration.” I was told it that they would call me with updates during the process. After I sent my trunk, the updates never came. I followed up every couple weeks or so and received e-mails that they had not started yet but would reach out when they did. I finally heard from Lisa who stated they started “cleaning” my trunk (while working on 3 others) and that it would look fabulous when they were finished. We never had any conversations about the trunk or any particulars. She told me the truck looked “wonderful” When I did receive pictures, I was very upset because the trunk didn’t look restored at all. It merely looked like they cleaned it a bit. I was later told how the trunk was not in good condition (despite both he and Lisa telling me otherwise) and that thy worked two straight weeks, 7 days a week, 10-12 hours a day on this trunk. This is while Lisa told me they were working on 3 trunks at the same time. At this point I have paid $2,500 for someone to clean my trunk, not the restoration I was promised. As you can imagine, I have been asking for some of my money back. At first they agreed to give me $500 back (it should be half), and after I agreed, they hit me with a non-disclosure agreement which would not allow me to leave this review. Obviously, I did not sign.
