West Coast Tire & Service
I have been a customer of West Coast Tire and Service for over 15 years. This is a family business and they treat their customers like family. I trust them so much that I service my brand new 2016 Ram Power Wagon at West Coast. They have always been my go to for tires. Jessie is the "Tire Whisperer". He has a very deep knowledge base. You can count on all the guys, Carlos, Joe, Jordan, Chris, Jessie and the owner Tommy. Mike and the mechanics are very professional. The guys in the Tire shop, Riggo, Alberto, Pepe are great. They are fast, courteous and always very careful with your rims. Miguel in the detail shop is amazing ! I am 1,500 miles away from my next oil change and I am actually looking forward to it. Caesar, in oil change, is the man ! Thank you West Coast Tire and Service ! You guys rock !Robbie MecklerShooting Star Aviation

Fairmount Tire & Rubber
works like a drive through. you park your car and head over to the window and ask for the tire size you would like. the cars are lined up in order to get their new tires installed. The line is always very long but they have most tires in stock and have different brands in stock. I was there for about an hour just to get new tires but the price was the best. no need to shop around next time will go straight to them.

Casarez Used Tires
Took my suv here to get a slow leak fixed. The man that helped me found a nail in my tire. He fixed my flat and also replaced a lug nut that was missing for only $7. I couldn't beleive he charged me so cheap. I thought for sure he'd charge me more because of my new vehicle like other shops do. This shop is fast and cheap. Cash Only. No street parking so park on the property itself.

United Tires
The shop was crowded when I got there, but Hasson still managed to greet me and get me going. Patrick is very knowledgeable and very efficient and made sure that all of us were taken care quickly. I would have given the shop more stars, but the waiting room is bad. The chairs are dirty and there were ants and rat droppings.

Lucy's Auto Center
I was a customer about two weeks ago and I never fill out these things for any businesses, but Lucy's Auto Center was so OUTSTANDING in every way -- friendly, fair, really know their stuff -- I had to fill this out. Thank you Lucy's for a very pleasant (believe it or not -- I had a flat tire) experience! xoxo

7 Dias Tire Company
This place is run by an older Korean gentleman; as is such, the service may be a little brash. However, they get the job done, and they charge so little for their tires that it's hard not to recommend them to others.
Tips & Advices
Yes. New tires purchased online can often be priced lower than ones at a tire dealership. Buyers can often avoid state sales taxes and locate hard-to-find tire styles and sizes, but will still have to locate a local tire installer and pay sometimes high shipping costs.
The average cost of a set of new tires is $637, with a range of between $525-$725. In addition, installation includes mounting and balancing, alignment, and disposal of old tires.
The vehicle is raised and the old wheels are removed, then the old tires are removed from the wheels. The lug nuts, wheels, and valve stems are inspected and replaced as needed. The new tires are mounted and sealed, then inflated and balanced. The wheels are then replaced on the car. The average installation takes approximately 45 minutes.
Agencies such as the Tire Industry Association promotes tire safety through advocacy and education to the industry including: manufacture, sales, repair, service and recycling. Seek a full-service tire dealer who carries a wide variety of tire types and brands and asks about the type of driving you normally do.
  • Move your car to a safe location.
  • Turn on your car’s safety lights, apply the parking brakes and remove the hubcap if there is one.
  • Loosen the lug nuts with a lug wrench (but do not remove them), raise the vehicle with a jack and then fully remove the lugnuts.
  • Remove the flat tire and replace it with the spare tire.
  • Tighten the lug nuts by hand, lower the car and then tighten them fully with the lug wrench.

Just a moment...
