Aubry's Automotive
Honest repair! The first time I came to this shop was to fix a blown engine because of Grease Monkey forgetting to install my drain plug! I have been back multiple times since then, and now my daughter takes her car to them. Like the other review the shop isn't the most appealing it looks like it is run down a bit but the service has always been 10 out of 10. I love how Randy never tries to sell something that isn't needed. We had a trip planned and our car broke down two days before we were supposed to go. I called Aubrys and they worked saturday and sunday to resolve the issue and get us on the road for our trip. What amazing owners, Randy and his wife are nice as can be and you feel like part of the family. Their sons have worked their in the past and were very nice also explaining the repairs that were made, and why they were important to fix. This is by far one of the best mom and pop shops in Northern Colorado area.

Aubry's Automotive
I went to a few Auto repair shops in Longmont and had bad luck. They tried to sell me un needed services, one place tried to insist that I needed to have my tires filled with nitrogen or else it wont be safe to drive! It was expensive too! I went into Aubrys because it has always been there since I can remember. The building isn't in the best shape and look unapplealing but I was greeted by the owner Randy in a very pleasing way. He made an estimate and told it to me straight. He gave me list of things that needed fixed but didnt try and just make money! He told me the items I didnt absolutely have to fix then. Aubrys isnt the most appealing in Longmont but Randy made up for that in personality and kindness. He is one of the few Honest auto shops left. It seemed like they werent just trying to make a sale which was nice.

Insight Automotive
I met these guys when we dropped off our uhual and first moved here a year ago. My truck had had a new engine put in from the place we moved from in Wy. and there were a lot of things they didn't do correctly. Insight and the gang have been there to help me slowly fix my truck to the way it should be. They are amazing people and I would never go anywhere else! Scott makes me feel like I'm a part of the family and the work they do is fantastic. Their mechanic James is just an excellent mechanic and has been able to diagnosis things on my truck that no one else could! I'm so lucky to have found an honest shop like this instead of the ones I've been dealing with in the past. Thank you Insight!!!

Discount Tire
The guys in front are courteous and mostly efficient, and they do a good job. Until today, I had always gone to the Lafayette store, and, with an appointment, I was in right away, new tires installed, and out quickly. However, after making an appointment with the Longmont store (for which I had to take time off work but still arrived on time), it was an hour and fifteen minutes before my car was even taken into the bay, and then another 45 minute wait for the tires. I will go back to the Lafayette store in the future; they seem to value my time as much as I do!

Zach's Transmission and 4x4
They went above and beyond for me. Had a bunch of stuff repaired on a used vehicle that I had recently purchased. Got the vehicle back and had no heat. They tried a quick fix. When that didn't fix it, they figured out what was going on. They were able to take my vehicle immediately. They recommended two fixes, we went for the hopefully successful but less expensive fix. They really took the time to explain what was happening and what caused the problem. I'll be back here for the other repairs they recommended. Thank you.

Brakes Plus
My experience was outstanding. They have a new manager as of 1 month ago. Night and day difference. Everyone was friendly, helpful and they explained what the car needed and what it didn't. They put themselves in my shoes and did only what was necessary. Definitely going back. Ask for Matt the newly installed manager. He's great.

Automotive Authorities
2 major automobile problems in 2 different vehicles in a month. Cory and Lance diagnosed the problem, informed us of the problems and provided a written estimate really quickly, with the estimate beating the dealers by a mile. If you want a small town feel, with experienced and able technicians, this is the first place to come.

Hayes Automotive Inc.
While working on my car, the guys a Hayes found that what they originally thought was wrong with my car was not the problem. The real problem was much more simple. The results were the cost was considerably less and it took less time to get my car back.

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
