4th Street Auto & Tire
The service location is very service oriented. The front desk gentleman, Art does an excellent job in representing the company. He was successful with waiting on me while a potentially new customer who needed his car worked on. Art saw by the gentleman's body language - he was in a hurry. He only wanted to know what time the business closed during the Christmas Holidays. He replied to him with his answer and went a step further by asking him, what specifically did he need to have done to his vehicle? He gave him the reply and the man who was in a hurry did receive the information and confirmed his answer. He was happy and obviously proceeded to his appointment. And, on the other hand I had a flat tire and he reassured me - he would have meout of the his service area in 20 minutes in order for me to get to work on time. This is the rainy day and I had given myself 2 hours to get to work when it typically takes45 minutes to drive to work and with the flat tire, it would be really tight to get to my employment on time in Orange County. I must say, I did get to work on time and was very happy with the customer service I received and the observation of the customerservice he gave another hurried customer too.Thank you for the experience at Tire Trax.Sincerely,Faye Stamper

Tony's Auto Repair & Locksmith
I do not know about the other reviews on here because 1/2 the time they are the company writing about themselves. How ever I have a storage unit that I can not find the key for and have been meaning to call a locksmith for weeks. Finally I went on the Net and found these guys. I have never used a locksmith before and was not sure how it all worked. I thought you had to schedule an appointment or have it be on a certain day. I called on a Sunday to set up an appointment for next week to get new keys . . . they are on their way over in 30 minutes to replace keys and for no additional charge. Estimates apparently vary but it's usually $45 - $55 just for them to drive to your house. Which honestly is worth it as the other option is me going down there with a sledge hammer? Overall I was really impressed. If for some reason anything goes wrong in the billing I will be sure to post another comment otherwise great company.

MBA Motors
A friend of mine told me about MBA Motors in Long Beach and I decided to take my 2004 BMW to get a regular service. The electrical part wasn't working right, the windows were moving slowing so I had them repair the window starter. Then my alternator had an issue charging the battery so Sam, the owner looked at it as well. I was very impressed. The place isn't very big but they worked on my car and within 2 days it was done. We had other troubles with it too and they fixed it.The price was very good. I went to BMW and they wanted way more. Sam charged me a very reasonable fee. I was happy with the outcome and now my car works great!

Tony's Auto Repair & Locksmith
This place is awesome. I'm giving a 5 star to them because they were there when I needed the most. My car belt came off and I went to about 2 places trying to get it fix before I went to them. The first 2 places I went to was unsuccessful, they said they're closed and the other one said the mechanic's busy to come back. Last resort was Tony's and they took the time out to inspect my car. Pricing is fair and I want to say thank you for fixing my car. Going forward I will take my car there and get it fix.

Jackson's Auto Body
Best place by far too go to, they work fast and do very great work. I was in a car accident a few months back, and was referred a friend to come here they quoted me a great price for a crashed front end on a 2010 impala. However they fixed it in about Sevan days and got me back my car and when i picked my car up it looked better then it originally did when I bought it now everyday I get compliments on my car and I say i owe it all to Jackson's thank you for the great service you provided me...

German Audio Tech
Needed a car alarm install on my 88 acura integra. Toolbox was stolen out of the car and that was it. Paid less than 150 for a basic viper alarm (which I provided) with shock sensor and starter kill. Keep in mind my car does not have power locks so that may have influenced the pricing.Install took about 2 1/2 hours from walk in to drive off. I also liked that the install tech himself showed me how to operate the alarm. I will definitely be back when I decided to add more features to the alarm.

German Audio Tech
this guy knows what he's doing. he fixed the dash pixels for my e430 and my e55. beautiful work and what makes me more content with his services is that his prices are very reasonable. my regular mercedes mechanic quoted $300.00 to fix the pixels talking about he gotta do this to the ECU and etc, when German Tech Audio did it for less than half that. this guy deserves his success, thank you!! dont know what the negative reviewers are talking about, as my experience was great

Overseas Garage & Towing
When I locked my keys in the trunk of my car I didn’t know what to do. I called a couple of towing services but they either didn’t pick up or couldn’t get out to see me for hours. So I then tried them, they said they could perform open trunk for me with their towing services and the best part is that them said an auto towing would be there to help me in 30 minutes or less. I was really impressed with the auto towing services of them and I would defiantly call them again.

Tony's Auto Repair & Locksmith
When I lost keys to office last year for the first time ever I was really caught by surprise and had no idea what do to... So I searched for "Locksmith" and found the guys. He was fast, professional and very efficient – so much so that I called them the other day to make house keys for my kids, again I was quite impressed. He obviously covers the entire metro and around, as our home and my office are not that close. Great locksmith service.

4th Street Auto & Tire
I have been taking by car here for 6 years. I have always received excellent service by the front desk. They have loaned me car so I could get to work. I once had a minor problem with a flap hitting my wheel . Even though it was minutes from closing I called and they waited about 30 minutes to take care of the problem. I have a 2004 Elantra over 2000 miles, they keep my card running. I am quite happy with the service I get here.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
