Alterations by Paul & Mary
I have special need because I'm wheelchair bound. That trailer at this shop was so understanding and helpful with making my garment fit me perfect. So glad I found this place. I'll be back

Alterations by Paul & Mary
Horrible. I took a garment in and never got a phone call that it was ready for pick up. The garment was left on June 13 and I went back on June 27 and was informed that my garment "has been ready. We just don't call." I told the business that I had recently lost my seamstress of more than 25 years. She died. She had literally sown my prom dress and I am now 43. My purpose in disclosing this detail was to indicate that there is long term business up for grabs. Initially, I was told that the alteration would be $20. It was subsequently raised to $30. The alterations...terrible (see photos). When I brought the concerns to the proprietor's attention, he remarked that he did "not care if I ever returned!" I have to qualify this review by saying that, for a living, I consult with small businesses on how to strengthen revenue and build consumer relationships. I TOLD THIS TO THE PROPRIETOR. It was of no importance. My only regret is that I cannot give zero stars.

Bella Alterations
I had a wonderful experience here. I took a Jr Bridesmaid dress to them and the whole dress had to be altered from head to toe. They were prompt and the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to go there again and would highly recommend them.

Bella Alterations
Do not go to Bella Alterations! All I wanted was the hem shortened. My beautiful new dress was ruined after going there. In fact I had to reorder the same exact dress (expensive dress). The problem was the inner liner was not pinned or chalked leaving it to the seamstress to guess how tall I was. Well I am taller than the guess and the inner liner of the dress didn't come to the floor as I requested rather it was approximately 2 1/2" to 3" too short! The outer layer - the chiffon-was marked which was fine.I had to pay extra to have it delivered tomorrow from the manufacturer. I then had to call another seamstress and cried the entire conversation explaing the situation. I was assurred that it would be ready by Friday. Problem solved at a cost of $428 x 2 dresses (total $828) for the dresses, $30 to Bellas and ? for the other alterations for the 2nd dress. Truly an expensive nightmare story.

Just a moment...
