What a smooth, seamless, professional and exceptional job. I had to cancel a previously scheduled appointment at the very last minute, late in the day due to a family emergency.......NO PROBLEM!!! Was sent an email of the name and photo ID of the repairman schedule to visit. He called me a half hour BEFORE he arrived at my home to tell me he was on his way and actually was at home 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment time!! The fellow had to replace my whole windshield on a 2013 Ford Flex Limited because of long cracks. A New windshield was installed in an hour. No globs of adhesive was left inside or out, new trim pieces were installed, the rain sensor unit was saved & able to be re-installed onto the new windshield, the mirror was re-attached and the windshield was CLEANED both inside and out! He gave me full instructions on do's and don'ts post installation. I've got to say, it was the best service experience I've ever had. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Tips & Advices
Many companies, both local and nationwide, specialize in automotive glass repair and replacements. Drivers should contact their insurance companies to find glass or auto repair shops in their network.
Windshield damage from anything other than a vehicle collision (including vandalism, storms, fires, and animals) is often covered by optional comprehensive coverage. Drivers should keep in mind that some plans only cover the side and back windows but not the front windshield. Without coverage, drivers must pay the entire cost of repairs or replacements.
Small windshield repairs can be finished in 30 minutes, while windshield replacements take about an hour.
The adhesives used in windshields need at least one hour to cure, so drivers must wait before getting back on the road.  Similarly, drivers should wait at least 24 hours after a windshield repair or replacement before washing their cars. The water and chemicals in the soap can weaken the adhesive. Because of the additional pressure involved, drivers should wait three days after repairs or replacements before going through an automated car wash.
Replacing a windshield costs between $150 and $300 on average.
