Burlington Coat Factory
OMG! Just had the nastiest customer service in my life at Burlington Coat Factory Littleton. Will NEVER shop at the company again for the rest of my life! Tried to return an inexpensive, never-worn defective white dress shirt with my receipt. Asked for the store manager, "Patty" Shirt had a small 1/16" hole in it. It was 60% cotton/40% poly blend. Thought it would be easy care, little ironing. After I washed it once, by hand, to get the chemicals out, it was totally wrinkled. Manager said I could not return it, since I had washed and ironed it, even though it was defective. I could not believe my ears . . . It was surreal!I said "I can't use it. I’ll have to throw it away" She said "OK." I said "You know this means you have lost a customer for life." She said "OK." I said: "You know this means I will let everyone know on Yelp and Google Reviews." She said "OK," turned around and walked away from me.Is this what corporate ethics and customer service has come to in America? Will be doing my shopping elsewhere, like Costco, or most other stores, where they cover ANYTHING in the store with a money-back, full-satisfaction guarantee.Stay away from this company if you don't want to get ripped off like I did!

Just a moment...
