This is the second car I have bought from Phil Long and prior to that I had purchased new cars from two other dealers in Denver. Going forward I will only be doing business with Phil Long Ford for any of my car purchases. First, let me say that Jennifer Spiegel was the best new car sales person I have ever dealt with. She is honest as the day is long and truly cares about the customer. I told her that what I wanted was a good deal for me and a fair deal for Phil Long. And that is exactly what she delivered. Do your homework on Kelly Blue Book to know what the ranges are for the car you want to buy, and then be straightforward with Jennifer and she will be straightforward with you. I worked with Jennifer and the Internet Sales Manager, Eric Roberg and got just what we wanted--a good deal for us and a fair deal for the dealer. In addition, Kevin Shaughnessy, who is the GM, is very customer-focused. He has a passion for selling Fords and a passion for treating his customers fairly. I had a small hiccup in the transaction and wrote him a letter about it. He immediately jumped right in with an email to me saying he would look into it and that he wanted to make it right. Then he called me back on my cell phone and gave me two options--both of which were fair to me. When I went back to the dealership to get it resolved, he took me into his office and brought in one of his team members to get the matter right! Wow!!! That is customer service at its best. Kevin didn't delegate it; he took care of it himself. Now, when you are buying a car, don't you want to know that you can count on the GM to have your back if there is a hiccup??? I can say from personal experience that the guy you see on TV in the Phil Long ads who looks like the sort of guy you can trust when buying a car, is the guy you can truly trust. Don't just take it from Wes Welker who can catch footballs better than me, take it from Tom Ryan. I was not paid for this endorsement for Phil Long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I just know an honest person in the car business when I see one--I spent 6 years as a consumer and law reporter for a television station in St. Louis where I did many stories on the car business!!! So I give you both a personal and professional opinion on Phil Long and its management!!! It starts from the top, and Kevin Shaughessy is truly one of the best in the business!!! (And, be sure to ask for Jennifer Spiegle!!! Together they are a team you can trust when buying a car.)
I just wanted to let you know that you have exceptional employees in Matt Sandoval, Josh Sandoval and Natasha. They were all wonderful. We actually came to Peak Kia to have an oil change and to have them look at our Forte. My husband had been in an accident a few months ago. The insurance adjuster sent him to Richenbach Cadillac to have the repairs done. We told Natasha in the service department that our son had said the repairs hadn't been done correctly. We also had the brackets that hold the radiator in place..in the back seat of the car. Natasha had the service department check out the car. The radiator was not even attached to the car, the motor mounts were loose, the a/c was off center, and the fan was hitting against something. Also, the wheel wells were not properly attached. Natasha said the car could be re-repaired at a Kia repair center. We couldn't do that as we are driving back to Florida and my son has to be to work by Monday. We didn't have enough time in case anything had to be ordered to fix the car. The car would noto have made the trip.Natasha introduced us to Matt Sandoval to be our agent. What a fabulous young man. He was very knowledgeable and helped us get a great deal on our new Kia Rio. Matt spent most of the day with us and made a long transaction very pleasant. Matt is a definite asset to your business. Also, Josh Sandoval was exceptional too. What lovely young men. They both are easy to work with, helpful, and very patient with us. I say give them a raise...Natasha, Matt, and Josh! Also, the young man that we signed the loan papers with was great. I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but he was so helpful. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner of the business and he is such a nice man. This is the second car we've purchased at Peak Kia and I would certainly do it again. We didn't plan on buying a car because we only came in for an oil change and found out that the car wouldn't make it to Florida. I thank Natasha, Matt, Josh, the finance gentlemen, and the owner for making something that could have been unpleasant , a very nice experience, Thank you again for everything. We really appreciate it.
I had the privilege of working with Sales Consultant Suzanne Dumont on Sat. March 6th 2015 at McDonald Hyundai in Littleton CO. I was very impressed with her familiarity of all the vehicles there on the lot. I was being particular with the exterior colors they had available, no leather seats and absolutely no beige interior.Looking around on the lot, speaking to different people, I seen a copper exterior which I really liked but the interior was beige that was out. They have vehicles with Gray and Black interior but they were Gray, Silver or White exterior (not a fan). Then I was shown the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I would like to thank Suzanne for her patience and making the experience a very pleasant one. I would also like to thank Ryan Smith used car Sales Manager who was a great help in getting me a lower interest rate and the value of my trade-in. Ron Fifer Sales Manager, Ricardo Rentera Finance Manager, who I accidently mistook for a Sales Consultant he too was running around looking for cars for me (sorry Ricardo). Virgil Esquivel Service Manager, Rick Wilson, Douglas Troudt both are Service Advisors, when I took my previous vehicle in for service they are always a great help. But I cannot end this review without mentioning Jon Bittrolf General Manager. Jon has been around since the old location down the street, very friendly always a pleasure to speak with and not just about cars and sales just a super nice individual. This latest experience was Fantastic and I look forward to having my new car serviced in the future. Oops I almost forgot I purchased the 2015 Hyundai Tucson GLS All Wheel Drive the color is Kona Bronze (sort of a coffee color) with what they refer to as Pleather seats a combination of plastic, leather and cloth not so stiff, interior is BEIGE but in my defense not quite the light color you would expect. It has a little darker look. It works out very well with the rest of the interior color kind of a chocolate look. The entire vehicle comes together very nicely and I am extremely happy with the purchase. Thank you Raul Temeyosa
I lead a very busy life both professionally and personally so I did not want to get into any "back and forth haggling" situation at all. I did my research and knew that I wanted either a Kia Sorento or a Kia Sportage. I arrived at the dealership at 8:45 P.M. on a Saturday night. (They close at 9 P.M.) I found Nick Worrell and John Grant available and I'm certain that they were probably looking at this female, all alone, walking up to the door of the dealership, thinking something like "Really?" ... we are only open for 15 more minutes! To my amazement, Nick was so inviting! I told him that I knew exactly what I was looking for and just wanted to see what they had available on the lot right then. He welcomed me in, introduced me to John Grant, and immediately did a search on the inventory. We looked at both the Sportage and Sorento models that were available with all of the attributes that were on my list of "must haves" and right away found my beautiful 2015 Kia Sportage that was absolutely PERFECT for me !! We actually ended up being at the dealership until after midnight working out all of the details so that I was able to get all of the financial details together to fit my budget and in doing so, Nick actually was calling Sean Simpson after hours and Sean was very accommodating as well! I was amazed at the total package of customer service that I received!! I have never had such a great time myself or ever known anyone to have, such a wonderful, fun, and relaxing experience purchasing a car!! This dealership (these 3 guys in particular) allowed me to have an incredibly good experience. I would, and I have, recommend this dealership above and beyond any other.... BAR NONE.
I am giving the the rating of all 5's to the Peak Kia Dealership in Littleton, Colorado because of the excellent service of Paul O'Farrell and Brian Overton. Paul greeting my husband and me when we walked in. He offered his assistance in a kind and helpful manner without being pushy or overbearing. He immediately put us at ease and assisted us through the entire process of purchasing a car including educating us on KIA's in general to the specifics of all different models, styles, accessories and purchase / lease options. We test drove many different vehicles and Paul was able to answer any and all of our questions about the specifics of each car. Paul was knowledgeable, thorough and patient, and gave us all the time and information we needed to make an educated and informed purchase - and believe me, we sure are thorough and ask a LOT of questions. In all our years of purchasing cars (an experience we hate), Paul was the first salesperson to actually make the experience fun and enjoyable and we feel certain of our purchase, thanks to the time Paul spent with us and his expertise. We were later introduced to Brian Overton, the sales manager of Peak Kia and once again, we cannot say enough wonderful things about him. He is fair, honest, a good listener, and his main goal is to create a following of loyal customers. He certainly succeeded with us. The Peak dealership in Littleton, CO under Brian's management is a wonderful place to purchase a car, and I would feel great recommending this dealership, and specifically Paul and Brian, to my friends and family.I wish there I could give a rating to Paul and Brian much higher than a five - they are awesome.
I purchased a Kia Forte from Peak Kia on South Wadsworth with assistance from Donna Kidd and Team Kia. I can honestly say that it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I have bought cars through private sellers, dealers and online sales, but the car buying process has never been easier or more pleasant than through Peak Kia.Donna went far beyond the ordinary to help me test drive different cars to find the right one for me. She and Paul searched, found and delivered the right car on the same day. Donna made a trip to get the car I wanted from another Kia dealership. Donna processed the sale of my previous car, which was in collision repair, by visiting the repair facility and making a good offer for that car despite its being unfinished. The financing included advertised rebates, as well as two more for which I qualified. The price was the internet advertised price, and it was a very fair price.Above all Donna was patient, courteous and genuinely concerned that I was able to get the car I wanted at the best price. Paul assisted in getting the car I wanted from another dealership on the same day I decided to buy. The whole Team Kia was friendly and hard working.I highly recommend salesperson Donna Kidd and Peak Kia on South Wadsworth Boulevard to anyone seeking a car.Yours Truly,Philip C.
We found a vehicle online we wanted to test drive and possibly buy so we made the 1 hr 45 minute trip with our two kids to Phil Long. Long story short Phil the sales manager tried to low ball us on our trade $1800 less than kbb average trade value citing us auction prices, claiming our vehicle would be going to auction not selling on their "13 acre" dealership. What a great way to pay nothing for a car and turn around a sell it! Anyway that wasn't the worst part. Phil generously raised our trade in value $1,000 (still $800 under kbb) but absolutely refused to lower the price of the SUV we wanted by one cent. I have bought many vehicles from delarships and have never seen a sales manager refuse to lower the price of a used car. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable, we only wanted $1,000 off sticker price! Considering is was basically a $19k SUV we wanted to buy that is more than fair. Fore warning if you go to Phil Long be prepared to pay every last cent of sticker price. The poor salesman wanted to make a sale but sales manager, who gains commission from all employees under him, had absolutely no desire to sell us a vehicle.
