Delicious appetizers and entrees. A great place for ladies to lunch.

Try the stuffed artichokes. When I go to the Myeloma Cancer Center in Little Rock I can never leave without going to Capers. I only wish they were in Ohio where I live. I have been too sick to go down there. Does Capers ship to Ohio? If they did I would be number 1 in line.

My husband loves the shrimp here, but the restaurant is kind of filthy and outdated. It's very expensive for the restaurant to be that nasty.

I just moved from Jersey, and I have been having the hardest time finding restaurants that fit my taste buds!! I love their food here. It reminds me of home. The egg rolls are excellent... We just got finished eating here for the first time!!! The portions are awesome for the price.
7.Old Country Store Ceramics & Pottery
4812 Willow Springs Rd
With regard to the review titled "Duncan Paints" posted by PatFranz on 03/14/2011, be aware that Patrick Franz is listed by www.corporationwiki.com as the President and Owner of Bercher Ceramics Inc in Oklahoma City. His review is therefore implicitly both underhanded and self-serving. Google (search for) the following: Pat Franz Bercher to confirm the accuracy of the statements made above. I've never set foot in Old Country Store Ceramics & Pottery but gave them a 5-star rating just to somewhat offset Franz's 2-star rating. If you live in the Little Rock area and have an interest in purchasing ceramic supplies, it makes sense to personally visit Old Country Store Ceramics & Pottery to form your OWN opinion of their store's inventory and how they treat their customers.

18.Brave New Restaurant

Well after what seemed to be a mile of walking to get to it, I thought I was walking into a doctors office from the way I exited the elevator. When the door opened, I knew I was in for a treat. The food was outstanding. The service was perfect. The only thing was trying to find it. I know now but I was hungry when I was searching. I love the shrimp dishes. Very high quality and cooked just right.
5601 Ranch Dr
If you can think of it, they probably serve it. The food is always of high quality.

I recently visited Willy D's with some out of town family on a rainy Friday evening. We arrived early evening so we were able to snag good seats. The piano players, (four, 3 male and one female) had great charisma with the audience, the song diversity was great! A little more country music than I prefer, but even then, the atmosphere was so electric I didnt mind. Great place for the young and old. Highly recommend the Willy D's experience at least once. (after my first visit I was hooked, I have been 4 times since.)
21.Doe's Eat Place
1023 W Markham St
I was quite unhappy with the meal, Fatty steak sitting in grease, cold and undercooked french-fries, potatos swimming in substitute butter sauce. Marinated salad that was limp and so coated in oil that it was inedible. I had eaten at the original Does down in Mississippi years ago and had bragged about it to my wife so we went for our anniversary supper. If I could I would give then negative 2 stars

We, my Mom, Dad, brother and sister-in-law, went to Lulav last night for Father's Day. We arrived when they opened at 5:00pm, and only two other tables came in while we were there. I had been to Lulav before and had a wonderful meal. OK, here's the blow by blow on the meal. We waited 65 minutes before the waiter/ manager (he said,) took our order. It took us 40 minutes to get drinks and it was 90, yes, 90 minutes before bread arrived. When it did arrive, there were 5 pieces of bread and about 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of butter for the table. We wanted to ask for more, but Dakota (the waiter's name,) ignored us and the eventual request. The food was horribly executed and the portions were very stingy for the price. My brother and I ordered steaks, both medium rare. The menu said the filet I ordered was 8oz., but I was a French chef for 10 years and the filet was, at most, 4.5 oz. It arrived overcooked on about 1/3 a cup of potato puree and some fiddlehead ferns. The vegetables were cold; not lukewarm, cold. I sent it back, and, after 20 minutes, I was given a second plate of cold vegetables, and the ""chef"" had cut another tiny cooked filet in half, opening it to show that the steak was medium rare. So, the steak was also cold. For an extra $5- I had ordered the fois gras butter. It was about a teaspoon of butter and had no trace of fois gras flavor. My brother's steak was served medium well and was also returned. My sister-in-law ordered the rack of lamb and it was a tasteless mess on a plate. Overbreaded and unseasoned, the thin chops (not a rack,) were absolutely bland. The lobster tail my Dad ordered with his filet was so thin and tiny, I didn't know it was legal to harvest lobsters that small, or maybe it was frozen. It was so small I didn't taste it, wanting my Dad to have at least 4 bites of lobster. I must say, my Mom had her first appletini, and laughed through the meal. Dakota, our alleged waiter, was aloof for the first hour and a half, then defensive and hostile as we started sending back the food. His service was among the worst I've ever had, but his open rudeness was, by far, the worst I've ever seen. He also included, by “mistake” he said, a mandatory 20% tip for himself. My brother took care of that. Without the mandatory tip, dinner for 5 was $300.00. It was so bad, we actually stopped a nice, mature couple that was about to walk in to eat, and sent them to Capriccio’s. After we told them what happened, they were happy to go there as they had eaten at Capriccio’s in another city. (By the way, Capriccio’s is great!) I must also mention that Dakota said to me “You know, the chef sent your steak back to you.” In other words, he was telling me the “chef” cut my steak in half, waited 20 minutes, and then sent back the exact same cold plate of food! Now I know why the place was, basically, empty. Save your money or go elsewhere. Everything about the restaurant was unacceptable, from the kitchen to the floor.

I go to Cajuns very often, mostly to the bar side, they have great live music and the bar is huge! Great service. The restaurant side is very nice, great food and large wine selection. If you are in little rock this is one place you should definately visit!
26.Dizzy's Gypsy Bistro
200 River Market Ave Ste 150
The food, staff, and drinks at Dizzy's are all great. I eat there at least once a week. The best part is that they have an outside smoking section. If you don't smoke, you don't have to smell it. If you do smoke, it's one of the few places in the state where you still can.
27.Za Za Fine Salad & Wood Oven Pizza Co
5600 Kavanaugh Blvd Ste 100
Za Za's brick oven pizza is Italian at its best! We lived in Italy for almost 9 years and Za Za's has the pizza mastered! They also offer gelato (Italian ice cream) that is made up fresh every morning. When its gone...its gone! They prepare your salad right in front of you to your liking. Only set back- Everyone goes there and so seating is very limited!! They also do not always have enough staff cleaning off the tables (sets everything behind). But regardless of the little things, it's still our favorite Pizza place!

I HAVE LIVED IN THE SOUTH FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS AND NEVER KNEW WHAT THEY MEANT BY SOUL FOOD. THE NURSES AT UAMS ORDERED OUT ONE DAY AND I AM SOOOO GLAD I WAS INCLUDED! AS A THE LIGHTEST SKIN YOU CAN BE, MY FAMILY NEVER COOKED FOOD LIKE THIS. ALL I CAN SAY IS ""OH MY GOD"", AND MOANED WITH DELIGHT AFTER EACH BITE, WHEN I HAD THE TURKEY AND CORNBREAD DRESSING COVERED GIBLET GRAVY AND CRANBERRY SAUCE. IT IS TO DIE FOR. I AM TAKING MY MOTHER THERE TODAY. SHE IS NOT GOING TO LIKE THAT I THINK IT BEATS OUR ITALIAN DISHES TO THE GROUND. I CAN'T WAIT TO SAVOR THE GREENS AND HOMEADE MAC AND CHEESE. I GUESS I'M NOT MOVING BACK TO JERSEY AFTER ALL.... LOL
