I have several complaints. First we waited almost 2 hours to be seated after being told that it would be 30 mins to an hour wait for a party of 13 and I knew that we may at least be waiting 45mins but 2 hours is ridiculous. After we were sat we then had to wait and hour for our food, which i didnt understand, so we then ask to speak with the kitchen manager bc he was in charge of the food. He would not come out to speak with us, he then sent two other managers that we didn't ask for to the table we spoke with them they were very polite and they advised that the kitchen manager Tom Williams didn't want to come out bc someone had to have told us who he was, so we said thats fine he doesnt have to come out but to let him know that it was very unprofessional for him to not come and speak with his guest. Later the kitchen manager Tom Williams along with the General manager Norris Samuelson came out. And the first thing Tom said was yall were asking for me so now what do u want. So we begin to explain why we ask to speak with him and he kept saying loudly I DONT UNDESTAND WHY YOU WANT TO TALK TO ME!!! SOMEBODY HAD TO SAY SOMETHING TO MAKE YOU ASK FOR ME! So i stated Tom that he was being very rude and unprofessional, and that the way he was speaking to us is unacceptable and while all of this is going on the General Manager stood there and let him speak to us like that. Then I ask Norris the GM if he was going to let this man speak to us that way. AND he said Well yall are not the only people in the restaurant and I said sir I work in food service and I understand how this works and he said well that's well and good that your in food service but it doesn't matter at this point. And at this time my grandmother was trying to get his attention and she placed her hand on his and he yelled at her and pushed her hand away saying DON'T U TOUCH ME and storms off, and went to tell the police officer that we said we weren't paying our bill and to escort us out. We never once got up to leave nor did we say we weren't going to pay our bill we all had our money out waiting on our server to cash us out. I'm high upset the way he treated my grandmother and I will be posting my experience on every social site and any place I can rate Cheddars. And despite the horrible experience I've had in the past I decided to give Chaddars another try and this happens. I will never eat here or spend my money here again until yall get some better management on your team bc this is highly unacceptable. Our server Robin was EXCELLENT she was very attentive to our needs, and she voiced her apologies for what happened and she hoped to see us again.
