I like Dr. Parker. I would definitely recommend him. However, in 2017, he's office seems so disorganized, and perhaps lack of staff.I have an appointment for my teeth cleaning in mid June at 2pm. I received a text and voicemailto confirm my appointment and I did.Day before the appointment time, his staff called me and ask if Ican move it to 4pm, as the doctor will not be in the office until 4pm.I said no, so we have to move it on July 22, 2017 @ 9:30amOn 7/17/17, his staff (her name is Paris), called me and said that they need to move my appointment again. Reason, no hygienist available. I ask when can I do it, andshe could not give me a clear answer. I was so disappointment. Its terrible that they send you a text or voicemail to confirm and then turnaround and tell you that they need to cancel your appointment. Its very unprofessional.

Orthodontic Care of Georgia
Worst experience and very unprofessional staff. These people don't care long as you pay every month and then they still call and say you haven't paid each month. Currently, have wires sticking me and missed my appointment due to a car accident. Called and spoke to office manager she stated in a very carefree attitude that there is nothing available until July. My braces are scheduled to come off in June you would keep a patient in braces for an additional 2 months. Did even try to be compassionate and find a sooner Appointment. Don't go here if you're looking for friendly and kind service. Paid off my braces now I have to find another office to see me to remove the braces and continue treatment. I have referred over 5 patients to the office and the treatment I have received now is unbelievable. Staff is horrible so is the current office manager.

The Dental Office of Lithonia
No one wants to have a tooth extracted, but I had to, and I found Dr. Chen and his staff to be an excellent provider of care. He and his staff are very professional. Dr. Chen is sure of himself, but yet very gentle. Dr. Chen is my new dentist of choice! Dr. Chen explained the procedure thoroughly and talked to me about replacement options he could provide once the gum and bone healed. He sensed my anxiety and offered me nitrous and music to enjoy during the procedure. Although, I had never had nitrous before, I accepted because I was quite nervous. I had a menu of music to choose from and headphones to enjoy. His assistant started the nitrous and music selection about 10 minutes before the procedure. After about 3 min I didn’t have a care in the world. While Dr. Chen extracted my tooth, I was laying on the beach with a refreshing drink in hand, so I felt :). The procedure went swiftly, without pain or agony, and I was on my way in no time. Dr. Chen even gave me a surprise call the next morning to check on my condition, and to see if I had any questions. It's been one now, and my gum is closed and healing well. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Dr. Chen & Staff!

Stonecrest Primary Care
My primary care physician is Dr. Kinsey. As a new patient she took the time to hear my concerns and work with me. The office staff as well as the nursing staff are friendly and helpful. I would send anyone to this office.

Dent first dental care has several locations and times that work for all people. I had a broken tooth and they were able to get me seen extremely quickly! Great place.

Dental Dreams LLC
I too have had a bad experience here, I visited on 9/11/15 for a deep cleaning, and was told after that I had no tooth decay, or cavities, thankfully I have all of my teeth, and I'de like to keep them! Color me surprised when a week ago the upper gums on the right side of mouth began to get inflated, and SORE. To a point I can't even chew on that side. I went to a dentist across the street from my job, and he told me "I don't understand how they missed this huge cavity, we are going to either pull it, or do a root canal, I am opting for a root canal, but I am very disappointed with their lack of due dilligence, and will NOT be going back. The only good thing that I experienced from Dental Dreams was overcoming my fear of the dentist #blankstare

Ida Beatrice Lanier, DDS
The worst dentist I have every been to. First I schedule an appointment and when i called to confirm the day before the front desk lady tells me she doesn't see my name on the schedule list and tell me they had already place someone else in the slot. So she schedules me for the following day. That day my appointment was at 8:30 for bonding but dr. Ida did not arrive until 9:00. I was very upset because I already ask the front desk clerk the day before how long would it be and she said it will only take about 30 mins for the procedure. I was very upset because I had to be at school at 10 (college student) which I informed them before hand when making the appointment. So when she comes in the front desk clerk tells me you can go head and come back if you want and they will be ready for me. So when I come back which was around 12:00 they sent me to the around 1:00 and did not start on me until 3:30 which caused me to be late to work ( I had to be at work at 4) which I informed the front desk clerk before they brought me to do the back. I was so upset and if I would of known it was going to take that long I would of never went to her. And on top of that I did not like the way she did my bonding , it looked like a rushed job. I will never in life go back to dr. Idk. If I was her I would be more professional.

Best Care DentaL II
Update: 4/15 - We had some major billing issues to start, but after that was addressed, I went back to get a refund and they offered to get me taken care of. I accepted. Since then, we have not had any more issues. I realize now it was just a mistake, and not any shady practices. So we have been doing business ever since. "I still feel like they should give me some type of concessions for the problems, and mistakes that happened", but they are at least being very thorough, since the problem. Fun group to work with, very knowledgeable, and getting me taken car of.

Orthodontic Care of Georgia
stay away for your teeths good!!
Tips & Advices
While going to the orthodontist can be difficult, sometimes it's necessary. If you are concerned about tooth alignment, feel your jaw shift, or are experiencing problems like difficulty chewing or grinding your teeth, it's time to see an orthodontist.
There are generally three types of braces patients can be fitted for at the orthodontist:
  • The more traditional option, bands, wrap around most of a patient's tooth.
  • Brackets are the most popular, applied directly to the tooth in metal or plastic form.
  • Lingual braces are brackets attached to the back of teeth.
People of all ages can wear braces to straighten their teeth, but it is most common to be fitted for these adjustments between the ages of 10 and 14. This is the time when teeth are better able to be straightened because the head and mouth are still developing.
The American Board of Orthodontics recommends finding a dental specialist that is board-certified, offers free or reduced-price consultations, and displays qualities such as trustworthiness, ability to communicate effectively, and attentiveness.
Orthodontists must complete a four-year undergraduate program to gain admission to dental school. After earning a Doctor of Dental Science degree at an accredited four-year dental program, students must then either complete a post-degree training program or one to two years residency in orthodontics. Then they need to earn a state license in order to practice. Certain states also require board certification.
