I like here. I've been here 7 months & so far it's been good. The only problem I've had so far is that before it took them months to fix something. But they have a new system now so that's fixed. & its bugs here but they have a exterminator to come out and settle the bugs for you. They do have over night security. I would recommend any one living here. It's a nice place to live. I plan on living here for at least four more years.

Within a month of me moving in, I had roaches. I moved from an old apartment building that I'd stayed in for two years with no problems other than spiders to having roaches within a couple of weeks of moving in. I am a clean person, dishes washed everyday floors swept and mopped or vacuumed at least twice a week, I've even been called slightly OCD. So, it is disheartening to move into such a nice looking home and have critters. I had a roach fall into my bed while I was in it!! I have been here a 1 1/2 months and am ready to move. I love my apartment, although the kitchen, bathrooms, and master closet could be a little bigger, but I can NOT do roaches. And the icing on the cake is maintenance. When I moved in there was at least one other maintenance person. I don't know what happened to him but I have had to put in 4 work orders and each time it takes weeks for them to complete it. My bathroom sink, toilet, and now come to find out my dishwasher is leaking, in addition to he keeps having to put fr ion in my AC which takes him days to do. On top of that, when I moved in my neighbor told my cousin, as he was moving me in, that her apartment had been broken into two times. I don't know if it is true or the type of life that she or whoever she is involved with, is in but, that's what was said. The only good thing is the renovated apartments, community amenities, and staff, especially the manager, but for me, it's not enough. I am ready to move and DO NOT recommend moving here unless you don't mind "pets" and being suck in the summer with no AC.

UPDATE: Do not move into this apartment complex. I moved out the end of February and still have not received my full deposit back. Upon moving out, everything checked out in the apartment and I was told there was no charge for anything. I had to wait over a month to receive part of my deposit back. When I called informing them that I planned to litigate they cut a check for part of the deposit. Because the management team, more specifically the assistant manager, made in error in the accounting system I am still missing a portion of my deposit. After countless communication attempts with this apartment complex resolution does not seem to be in sight. They do not care about being professional; please do not waste your money moving in these apartments. Previously Posted: I took possession of my apartment on the 22th of February but the apartment was not ready when I attempted to move in. The apartment had major problems with the carpet, paint, and even the fixtures in the bathroom appeared to be damaged but not replaced. I m not sure who was in this apartment before me but if they had to pay for these repairs they were not done. I moved into an apartment with a carpet with burn marks, juice stains, and permanent dirt marks. The sink in the master bathroom has burn marks on the counter and in the sink; but none of these issues were addressed before I moved in. After I requested that these issues be handled I was given new carpet and told the apartment was already painted; none of the other issues listed above were dealt with. I had a few other issues with the apartment which were dealt with by maintenance promptly. My biggest problem with the move to Walden Brook was the company they used to clean and eventually replace the carpet entered my apartment after I had taken possession and turned on the air, all of the lights, and left them on overnight. They then left my front door open so when I returned to my apartment to move more of my stuff in I was alarmed to find the door open for the second time. As a single woman with young children that was unsafe and annoying to know I would be responsible for their carelessness. I have lived in places that cost less but were better maintained and presented. I expected more from Walden Brook and thus far I am disappointed. I understand that they cannot control how a tenant treats the property but turning an apartment over to a new tenant with damaged carpet, paint issues, and permanent marks on the fixtures is not okay. The only saving graces are the office staff (Jacqueline and Jennifer) and maintenance worker (Aaron). They meet my expectations of what I thought Walden Brook would offer. Jacqueline, Jennifer, and Aaron appear to be friendly and helpful so hopefully my time at Walden Brook apartment complex will get better.

My experience at this apartment community has been ruined any future in renting for me. The Management Staff beginning with the Property Manager Tanya, is by far the most unprofessional, unempathetic, and arrogant Management professional I have ever encountered. Has a potential resident they attempt to provide you a picture perfect fairytale of what the property will provide, the ameneties, and the empathetic and courteous staff that are here for you always to work with you and assist in the community by any way possible. And all of that is far from what can be delivered upon. They throw policy and procedure in your face when it comes to the short comings of managerial promises and will not take accountability for their own mistakes, the management staff is extremely unprofessional and are unempathetic in the sense that can care less of any misunderstanding they may provide to residents it is your own fault if you are not knowledgable of their policies and practices, they set their residents up to fail, and have complacentcy about the judgements they make against the favor of their Residents. I am not now nor have I ever been a problem for the property, I pay my rent on time and before time monthly, I work 12 hours a day and I am a student and rising small business owner. I have encountered with this staff numerous counts of dissatissfaction, when it comes the ameneties that are not properly working on the property that are agreed upon and outlined from the property that are provided, and everytime instead of giving an apology for their mistakes they will attempt to educate you on their weak policy, rules and inconsistent regulations, until you bring their own policy against them. Then they are willing to work with you and hear how they were wrong. I would not recommend any first time Renters, or Long term renters to consider this property as a potential residence. The rent is competitively higher than the nicer properties in the area, and the amenities are ineffective. Security will harrass you and your guest, the gate has been fixed and partially running approximately 4 days only in a YEARS time that I have been living there. I created this review to help someone else in their search to relocate or one who is beggining their living independance. I do not recommend this property, and I believe the entire staff should be evaluated and restaffed begining with Property Manager.
